Thanks for the torque setting specs. Most mechanics don't give them...very important. I called the Buick dealer parts/service department for the torque specs and I was shocked to hear they didn't know them for the hub nut...OMG! You're awesome brother 👍
I appreciate the comment! And trust me, they know them lol. No dealer will EVER provide you anything to help you work on your own vehicle though because of course they want you to bring to them and have them do it!
EXCELLENT Tutorial!!! So much more clear and instructive than I was ever taught at “VO-Tech” Technology Center!! I have definitely subbed, liked and all of that, and I will be watching every tutorial video you have!! Thank you, so much for putting these together!!!
Had a slight 12 to 6 wiggle before changing my wheel bearings. Now the 12 to 6 wiggle is gone, but i have a 3 to 9 wiggle that wasnt there before. I already have some new tie rods that havent been installed. Im just wondering if i could have done something to cause the 3 to 9 wiggle. Everything went back together smooth, no extra pieces, and torqued to spec.
Try heat if you haven’t already, and if you haven’t, more heat lol. I hope you are using an impact though because thats by far the best method for removal.
A torque wrench is ideal, of course because they don’t make torque specs for no reason. But you can definitely get away without torquing the bolts if you are familiar enough with wrenching.
I didn’t forget, not necessary. But if you want to use it & it makes you feel better…..go for it. Im not opposed. But they don’t come from factory with anti-seize, just something you can do if you personally want to make it easier for yourself if it has to be done again.
In my 2017 Buick Lacrosse, the 3 hub mounting bolts are too close to the axle to get any good bite on them with the socket. I'm going to buy a 15mm wrench.

Outstanding Video.... Do you need to clean the rotors of any contaminates before sending the customer on their way?
Thank you!! & You most definitely can! Not a must, but I’m all for shooting some brake cleaner on them and wiping them down!
This video helped me get one side I’m having issues getting the axle nut off the other side thanks tho

Heat wax n torque wrench helped
Mr BEE Cee can you do a video on replacing the high mount brake light
About to do all 4 wish me luck and thanks
Good luck, you got it 👍
Do you have to use a regular socket wrench to tighten the 3 bolts or you have to use torque wrench?
A torque wrench is ideal, of course because they don’t make torque specs for no reason. But you can definitely get away without torquing the bolts if you are familiar enough with wrenching.
@@TheOriginalBeeCee tighten my shit tell they talk back to me and give it a little more
Use a lil thread locker. You can probably see some on the the bolts you took off
I found it easier to take the caliper off with the two bolts instead of all 4 so that way u don’t have to try and get the pads back in
Whatever works! 👍👍👍
You don't show the removal of the axle nut?
Are you serious?
Does it matter which way u put the bearing in. The sensor disconnects after driving
Most definitely does. That wire is tight and needs to go back in exactly how it came out. Check @ 16:35
@@TheOriginalBeeCee Preciate yo responses finally got both sides changed
@@sir6591 nice man glad you got it done 👍
You gotta wire brush , antiseeze that hub before installing it.
I’ve done it in the past…I do it when i feel like it lol. But if it makes you feel better, go for it.
You forgot the anticize on ypu bolts and axle nut

My bearing broke off with all the stuff stuck inside the knuckle.
Damn lol. I’d imagine the symptoms/issues while driving were pretty prominent with it being in that condition.
