Suggestion for a video idea/series. Can you beat Castlevania bosses in alphabetical order?. I saw someone do this for Dark Souls and Hollow Knight and thought it was a fun idea for these metroidvanias.

Edit (back with actual commentary): 1. I hate the Paranoia fight so much because I’m doodoo at dodging the lasers (+ that laugh is just grating) but take Paranoia out of their room and the fight can get cheesy.
2. Yorick’s soul is the perfect blend of kooky yet fun to me (but it’s quite circumstantial). It’s extremely gratifying when you can land a kick mid-air. I even managed to use it during the 2nd phase of the Menace fight AND WIN! But I’m really glad we didn’t end the seed with a Menace fight because Soma vs Soma is just really fun since you can’t encounter it normally.

I don't think IGA was beefing with anyone at konami. He was known there for producing good games with high turnover with a very small budget. But after they made him produce the 3d castlevanias with a 2d game budget and it didn't sell enough and then the 2d ones kept selling less and less, they didn't wanna do castlevanias anymore, rejected every new pitch from him and transferred him to doing menial work to make him quit (as usual with japanese companies) and he did.
iirc, he has said in the past that he's open to making castlevania games if konami asks him to. So for a new game to come out it's just up to konami believing that castlevania can make money or if some other studio licenses the series from them and makes their own game so konami gets profit with no risk investment.
They certainly don't seem very selective in licensing their IP in general.
