Two couples in their early twenties with giant egos, undiagnosed mental health problems, and unhealthy coping mechanisms (led to addiction) living together. It didn’t end well. My partner and I worked towards recovery, healing ourselves, and improving our relationship. A few years after that, the Antionette of our story comes into the restaurant I was working at. I hadn’t known he previously worked there and that his roommate was the current bartender. I was even in his new place once before that because his roommate, that I only knew at that time as my coworker, hosted a party there. He was asleep so neither of us knew lol. Well I was just working my shift when one of my coworkers approaches me and starts asking me questions about things I had never told anyone there since I was on the newer side. He had been out by the bar and was talking about me with every coworker he could. He was telling them about what had happened while living together, said things about my character and the kind of person I supposedly was, while claiming he was over it and that he was simply trying to warn them about me. In reality, he hadn’t moved on and couldn’t fathom the fact that I had grown and changed because it’s not something he even attempted. He still saw me as that person from a few years before because HE was still that person. Antionette, don’t be that person. It’s not cute. It’s not funny. It’s toxic and embarrassing (for you). The misinformation about the pink eye 😭😭 I once got a really bad case of pink eye after the milk of a poisonous plant squirted into my eye (long story, I was just being a clueless kid). Had to go to the ER and get it flushed out for hours and the next day my eyes were crusted shut 🥲 It definitely was not caused by poop
I have heard so many times in American videos that people say very weird things about pink eye, like it being necessarily contagious. It's very confusing to me, because in Germany/Europe there are no such weird feelings with pink eye. It can be cause by many things - mechanical, allergic, bacterial, viral, fungi... Usually people have pink eye because of dry air, rubbing etc., or because of make up or other small things getting into the eye and irritating it, or sometimes in combination with a cold etc. So mostly it's not contagious or not more contagious than the sniffles, cough etc. that accompany it when it's from a cold/a flu virus. So there is no reason to be so weird about it. Warmth helps a lot, like a warm compress. In my family black tea has been used for generations as a jome remedy. But one has to be careful that it's not too hot and that not more particles get into the eye. I personally cook a strong black tea (because I think the bitter substances are what helps, plus the warmth), dip cotton pads into the tea when it's warm, but not too hot and put the pads on my eyes. I dip again when the pads get too cold and repeat the process several times a day. 95% of the time the pink eye is gone within 12-24 hours.

Yeah, maybe to soothe some of the irriation but that doesn't get rid of the bacteria or virus that causes it.

I have heard so many times in American videos that people say very weird things about pink eye, like it being necessarily contagious. It's very confusing to me, because in Germany/Europe there are no such weird feelings with pink eye. It can be cause by many things - mechanical, allergic, bacterial, viral, fungi... Usually people have pink eye because of dry air, rubbing etc., or because of make up or other small things getting into the eye and irritating it, or sometimes in combination with a cold etc. So mostly it's not contagious or not more contagious than the sniffles, cough etc. that accompany it when it's from a cold/a flu virus. So there is no reason to be so weird about it.
Warmth helps a lot, like a warm compress. In my family black tea has been used for generations as a jome remedy. But one has to be careful that it's not too hot and that not more particles get into the eye. I personally cook a strong black tea (because I think the bitter substances are what helps, plus the warmth), dip cotton pads into the tea when it's warm, but not too hot and put the pads on my eyes. I dip again when the pads get too cold and repeat the process several times a day. 95% of the time the pink eye is gone within 12-24 hours.

It can be bacterial or viral. Can be spread by contact with someone who has pink eye who has not washed their hands after touching their eyes. Please do the research!
