I don’t really understand this list. Like, why would you put Princess Zelda in front of Princess Zelda? You should swap Princess Zelda with Princess Zelda!
Twilight Princess Zelda got *robbed* in the physical strength category. Link can get yeeted out of his saddle over the course of that horse-back fight against Ganondorf, but zelda stays firmly mounted on Epona's back while riding *without* a saddle through the sheer strength of her thighs. Girl does *not* skip leg day!
Not to mentioned shes firing off arrows (from horseback) at a very fast rate. It takes a lot of strength to use even a week bow once, let alone rapidly like that! (And the bow of light is explicetly a very powerful bow, and it shows in the fight, so thats a lot of drawpower)
@@errorunknown9788 The bow of light I can excuse solely because it's a magic bow, and who knows what convenient properties a magic bow might have, especially since the arrows it fires are also special and magic.
I'd give Skyward Zelda a little bit more in the physical category, since she's a student at the Knights' Academy and therefore has presumably undergone the same combat training as the rest of them. Her having been captured easily doesn't mean she's weak, only that she was caught off guard on the weirdest day of her life so far.
I think she is just straight up the strongest Zelda. I mean she is literally the goddess, nothing is stopping her. Besides that as an academy graduate? (I think she graduated) She obviously got intense loftwing training and sword training. The harp is also underrated. She literally uses it while at the springs to awaken the power in herself.
@@Mare_ManTHANK YOU! She was literally unarmed! How was she supposed to defend herself there? AND YES! SHE WAS LITERALLY ENROLLED AT THE KNIGHT ACADEMY! If we're filling in the dots with Tetra, do it with Skyward Zelda as well!
I'll also point another thing: SS Zelda probably solved AT LEAST, one dungeon (the Faron one) totally alone, was unarmed and probably couldn't use violence or other methods to "distract herself" from her journey. The fact that only talking with Link was "prohibited" by Impa and it's said that she must "have to purify her soul" in the process is a proof of that. Also, cut content, this Zelda was supposed to be playable, on a second, totally independent journey apart from Link. I'm very sad that this idea was, once again, scratched and Nintendo "made her weaker", because it would mean so much for her to be fully playable and without Link, and no, I don't think of her being only a "female skin" of Link, her journey and abilities must be different in case she gets this opportunity to shine. They're equally important in my opinion, and SS proves that quite well, it would only be better in the beta version.
I feel like not mentioning Tetra's cameo in Spirit Tracks does her leadership score a disservice. She's long dead by then but it's confirmed she Founded and was the first Queen of New Hyrule.
@@michaelt7687 Don't forget that Wild era Beedle is able to carry around a giant backpack, while reaching the various towns before Link does. That's an insane physical stat
I felt the Zelda's who used the bow had their strength rating way too low. It takes a considerable amount of skill and strength to use a bow repeatedly and accurately. Additionally the Twilight princess Zelda used the bow from horse back which would also be a considerable feat of strength and marital ability. Also I feel some of the Zelda's had their tactical abilities overlooked. In many of the final battles Zelda is able to identify weaknesses that Link can exploit to defeat the boss. I guess I'm just nit picking, the list overall was good and a fun watch.
So true i agree. tp zelda should’ve been ranked higher because wielding a rapier as your main weapon and that huge bow is NOT easy. She clearly has more physical strength than the score she received. When her body was possessed, her feats would still require physical strength inherent to her body.
Twilight Princess Zelda got *robbed* in the physical strength category. @@exetone When talking about strength in context of a bow, one isn't talking about lifting, but drawing it. Now, its debatable if the throwing arms of the different bows of light fall under physical laws, but its still a valid point. Especially when talking about Tetra, as she uses a normal bow. For reference, a bow with a drawing weight of 30 pounds is the maximum my sister - who is physically relatively weak - can use and can be considered as easy to use then. But this weight class comes a bit short in piercing power and arrow speed
Regardless of what people think of Spirit Tracks, I will always be thankful that it was a very experimental game and gave us what basically is the first Princess Zelda that takes an active role alongside Link. She broke the mold and paved the way for the princesses that followed her. She was the first Zelda that was a companion to link and the first to be present all throughout the story. Spirit tracks is as much as Link's adventure as is hers, and watching her break the mold and develop her relationship with Link as the story progresses was incredibly satisfying. So THANK YOU Zeltik for taking her seriously and giving her justice. Especially since she is just a child when the events of the game happen, and she has already taking the role of a leader and now a warrior that helps and protects Link.
@@NoiseDay I could talk about ST Zelda's personality and character for months dude. She was absolutely the blueprint for the later princesses in terms of involvement in the story and personality besides "please save me Link! my kingdom needs me". Especially since the game started with her personality being just that and later on grew up to become much more determined and taking matters into her own hands whichever way was necessary to help Link, even in the final fight she drops everything she's doing to encourage and help him. The fact she's just a child makes her attitude and determination to protect her kingdom much more impactful than an adult Zelda. The story starts because she was already suspicious of the chancellor, and she was willing to go to the tower with the flute and find a way to help her kingdom, but couldn't do much because she couldn't physically pick the flute up. And because it's a "toon" game, she has a lot of comedic self aware moments between Link and her that adds lots of charm to her personality.
I'd argue she's the only current version of Zelda that took a significantly active role(in mainline games). All the other Zelda's might appear or aid you during your quest, but they are relatively passive, letting you do most of the work and only aiding in a couple fights at most. But the Zelda from Spirit Tracks manages to be an active fighter in the series, directly aiding you throughout the game. Tetra helps you a bit here and there, "Zonai" Zelda does stuff in the past and sets up Ganon to be defeated both times, and Skywards Zelda also set up a time loop. But as you said, Spirit Zelda joins Link and grows as a character, one of the big charms of the game. She feels like a member of your team like Midna or Navi, rather then just a character who appears in cutscenes, or the occasional tag-along.
Zeltik: Makes a video ranking all the current iterations of Princess Zelda based on their power level. Nintendo: Releases a game centred around a new iteration of Princess Zelda where she is the main and playable character.
Zeldom forgot that Skyward Sword Zelda isn't a princess, but a student or possible graduate at the Knight Academy, which is a _martial_ school as much as an educational school. Considering that she's chosen to be the one who hands over the Sailcloth at the Wing Ceremony (rather than any other female character, student or otherwise), it's possible that's she's a graduate (but keeps her room, because daddy is the Headmaster). Further, as we saw in the ending, not only did she make it to the Skyview Spring _and_ to the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary, she did so _on foot, alone, and without a weapon._ That's in two _vastly_ separate locations, with one on top of a _ruddy volcano._ Link needed to ride a giant chicken-thing to get around the Surface, and how many times did he get discovered & clobbered when running around weaponless in the significantly-smaller Silent Realm? _Yeah._ So I'd say making it from the Sealed Temple all the way to near the top of Eldin Volcano, with a stop in the Deep Woods along the way with nothing but sandals and a harp, _without discovery,_ to be _exceptional._ It's only after Link is late to the party that she has _any_ help while traversing the Surface. She's then shown in the _very next scene...skipping in the desert._ People do not _skip_ in the desert. Her physicality rating, for these facts that were overlooked, should rank her an 9 on that bar _at least._ If she'd had a sword or bow she might've _solo'd_ the entire game.
You make excellent points. It completely glossed over that for a good chunk of the game, Zelda's going on a parallel adventure of her own. Not to mention she survived that fall at the beginning of the game without even being injured. I don't think there was an explanation for that other than her just surviving the landing. Though she was nearly captured by three red bokoblins and had to be rescued by Impa, after which she served as protection. So that needs to be factored in as well.
I think you are overestimating Zelda’s journey. We have no clue what Zelda really goes through on her journey. We don’t know when the monsters got there or what paths she took to get where she needed to go. For all we know, she could have found different pathways that Link did not know of or had an easier time with no enemies on certain pathways. I would say Eldin should at least bump her rankings but we have nothing really to go on beyond the end result.
@@fishnewt1331 The end result being her unlocking her ultimate powers and recognizing her destiny as the literal reincarnation of Hylia. Still puts her at the top of the list regardless.
It was shows that she was likely on the run constantly - and that the beginning temple was not infested with monsters before she came. The monsters chased her to each temple, and link just followed in her footsteps after.
I have to wonder if Skyward Zelda is really that physically weak. Sure she's not a student at the knight academy but she does live there and hangs out with the knights regularly giving her a bit of a tomboy streak. It's hard to believe she didn't pick up a thing or two in that time. Sure she was captured by red bokoblins but Link didn't fare too well against them either without his gear.
@@PsykheoftheStars She was? I thought she just lived there because her father was the headmaster. In that case she should really rank high on the physical due to her training as a knight.
At the very least, she should have a decent amount of strength in order to ride a loftwing imo. Like, holding onto a giant bird in the air with just her body would definitely require some athleticism
Props to Terra's physicality - we do see her high jump over Ganon and dodge his strikes at the forsaken fortress. She's only nabbed by him when she is distracted by link - the great goof.
It's wonderful how the scene of Zelda sealing herself in SS never fails to almost bring a tear to my eyes, just like Fi's Farewell. I absolutely love that game
Indeed. Spirit Tracks is my favourite Zelda game, and the main reason for that is its version of Zelda actually adventuring alongside Link. In particular, I love the scene where it mocks the previous games by having Zelda say, "I will wait for you here; that's what we princesses have always done. From what I understand, it's a family tradition", followed by Anjean pointing out that she should go with Link.
@matthewmuir8884 Spirit tracks has so much charm, it made me fall in love with Zelda as a character. When I played the other games I was dissapointed they were so... dull
@@Snow-sx5ev I agree; Spirit Tracks did have a ton of charm, and its version of Zelda was fantastic. I especially enjoyed the dynamic she had with Link; the two of them together were adorable.
ST is one of the best zelda games imo, amazing story, great length, tons of side stuff to do which are fun and not super tedious, good collectibles and weapons to yield, all on the DS. They really went all out there, would love a remake or a continuation of the timeline
@@RZ_2KI like to think that the technology they had in that era with steam and transportation is what paved the way for the advanced technology the Sheikah had in BOTW
I kind of disagree with the use of light dragon for physical ranking since unlike her other most powerful forms she isn't capable of using her items or much of her intellect. It almost feels like its more equivalent to a trapped state, albeit one with immense power. Anyways loved the video and am happy to see a new addition to this series
I understand the qualm of that but its the combinational score of their greatest feats that gives them their score. I also think that in terms of mental resilience (if it was a score) she would've been a 10 on that. The amount of stuff she has had to endure in just 2 games is so much more than any previous incarnation of Zelda
Exactly my thoughts, not fair to compare with Sheik, which is a "form" zelda could take anytime, everything else looks fine, really good overall analysis
@@vicvans20It seems to me as thoygh Skyward Sword’s educational background, loftwing proficiency and the fact that she had an adventure of her own in order to recall the memories of her past life where a bit glossed over for her physical stat. Seems like if not being a student of the knight school, at least her riding prowess could have been acknowledged.
I wholly disagree with it. While that Zelda still would've won, it's still unfair to rate her using the light dragon form - it's different from the other ones in that she's not herself as the light dragon and it isn't something like Sheik or Tetra where she can freely swap back and forth. Mineru makes it clear that in turning into a dragon one loses one's humanity. They're no longer a sentient being. She is no longer herself. SS Zelda also got shafted pretty hard. Yes she got captured when unarmed and caught off guard, but she was trained at the Knight Academy just like Link was. She travelled the same areas he did on the surface and in the beginning was alone before Impa caught up with her.
Spirit tracks Zelda stated at the beginning of the game that she suspects a reason behind the minister's suspicious behaviour other than concern for her safety. Zelda also realises that something is wrong in the kingdom and asks Link for help to ask the Lokomo for advice in the Tower of the Gods. This is quite mature behaviour for her age (If I remember correctly, she's around 10 years old).
Indeed. It's also worth noting that, despite her young age, she seems to genuinely be in charge of the kingdom with no sign of a regent. Chancellor Cole even laments that he thought the position of Chancellor would give him de-facto power only for the position to basically amount to "royal babysitter" in his words.
My thoughts exactly. I expect her to be at least the fifth strongest, so to see her as second strongest is a surprise for sure, but it's a pleasant surprise
When i first played Ocarina of Time, i thought that at one moment later in the endgame we would have to beat Sheik, and i remember thinking that it would be a tricky fight because of how mysterious Sheik was. Little did i know that it was Zelda all along, guiding us throughout the temples and teaching us.
While it wasn't against Sheik, I think a battle worthy of being against the Sheikah member in question was the fight against Gramps in A Link Between Worlds which becomes available after obtaining all 50 Streetpass Challenge Medals. Gramps has max hearts and weapon gear, making it a very difficult fight to overcome.
As a sailor apprentice on old ships myself, I can confirm that Tetra is absolutely badass for being able to be a pirate captain on high seas at 12 yo, especially with her courage to actually physically fight Ganondorf.
Twilight Zelda will forever be my favourite version of Zelda. She just feels graceful yet dangerous and isn't afraid to fight like most other Zelda. I hope to one day have a more active Zelda again. It would be funny to rank different versions of Hyrule/Kingdom/Sea
7:44 The Japanese version of the Zelda Encyclopedia actually changed it so the Link and Zelda from the Oracle games are separate incarnations from the characters in A Link to the Past as was originally the case before Hyrule Historia, but the English version of the book made an error and said they were the same (see page 19). They later fixed this error in a reprint.
Damn, that's actually pretty lame because without this change, that meant that LttP Link had four whole adventures under his belt, now he just has two.
The canocity of the Encylopedia is debatable and there’s even a disclaimer at the beginning of the book saying the events of the book are subject to revision. A lot of people prefer to follow the version of the timeline where they’re all the same Link in all 4 games. That version makes the most sense.
@travisfrench4708 The Book itself is inconsistent and bad but the timeline itself (updated with Oracles after LA) was revised on the official sites. You can also see on the Japanese website that the Oracles Link is different to the AltP Link. They group each Link together on a per game basis and they ended up splitting those up. In essence the whole other Zelda thing forced their hand. They should have just decanonised that imo, not Link being a different dude. Maybe the new book will change it again. Who knows.
@Chardan001 yeah, they are still the same Link in all 4 games for me. Majority of people follow that version. I think the only reason they said they were different is because of Zelda acting like she didn’t know Link at the end of the Oracles. I personally discard this since the game was developed by Capcom anyways.
Indeed. With how Breath of the Wild, just like Wind Waker, ended on Link and Zelda setting out together, my biggest fear for Tears of the Kingdom was that it would do what Phantom Hourglass did and Zelda would immediately get separated from Link and be incapacitated for the whole game. While I liked the Light Dragon and the False Zelda storyline, I'm saddened that my fear was correct.
I'm so glad PH was my first Zelda game, so I didn't know her character except for what was shown in the game. I can only imagine how disappointing it must have been for many fans to see Tetra sidelined like that after Wind Waker. Then again, she was damsel-ified (and whitewashed- literally) in Wind Waker first. Talk about twisting the knife!
You should do a power ranking for the minions of each game. So specifically the enemies that work for the main antagonist. You could look at things like how well they protect/guard for their master’s bidding, intelligence, variety, etc. Great video, keep up the fantastic work.
Love these videos but sometimes the scores make me laugh a bit: Tetra shown with a dagger she never uses, and a bow she only shoots while stationary at a distracted Ganondorf: 5 on weapons. Twilight Princess Zelda: Armed with a more formidable rapier, shown to hold it and be ready to use it twice, and experienced enough to use a bow while on horseback aiming at an equally mobile Ganondorf: only one point higher at 6…
My favorite thing about the original Zelda, is not only were her actions impressive in & of themselves, but there’s a key detail that tells a lot. Impa is her nursemaid. Implying she’s the child of likely just then killed royal parents & working quickly with very limited resources. The manual’s hints for a lot of the dungeons are even given an in-world explanation as messages Zelda passed to Link through Impa, which is also kinda neat. Considering how important those hints would’ve been back before the internet was widely accessible, she could be argued as one of the more helpful Zeldas! 😆
0:50 YES! That's exactly how I felt. TOTK feels like it truly lives up to the name "the legend of zelda." It is her legend, and we, as Link, are just one small part of it.
With that, and the fact that it'll be a year tomorrow since Tears of the Kingdom's release, we now need an update on who's the strongest Link and Ganon.
I have really missed these types of videos from you, thank you for all the hard work Blood Sweat and Tears you put into this content for all of us, you're the best Zelda UA-camr out there and hopefully we'll get to see more of these types of videos soon.
This girl is amazing, fell in love with her since a kid playing Spirit tracks, seeing her having a massive role in tears of the kingdom (and being so damn beautiful too) makes me happy, Echoes of Wisdom gonna be great
What an epic and outstanding video. I really appreciate your thorough analysis and insight for bringing this entertaining ranking system to us. Cheers.
I wanna make a note that Zelda didn’t send the master sword back in time consciously. When she received the sword, she was a little confused, and she didn’t understand the glowing yellow ball until the sword appeared
She definitely did send it back in time lol. She literally said *I know what I must do* lmao. She didn't just throw a shot in the dark. Kinda. She didn't know it would work but she obviously knew she could recall. It just took her a moment to process how the sword got there and what it meant. She absolutely consciously knew what to do.
@@anthonybarbee5136 she said “I know what I must do now” after she got the sword, so she got a sword and peices together what her purpose was AFTER she got the sword

I honestly believe this is the best video on your channel and Im so dissapointed that there's nothing else like it. It's an analysis that's satisfying and intriguing on premise alone (at least for Zelda fans) but leaves you wanting so much more that others just haven't made. I hope you make more kinds of strongest character in a series videos because this was a lovely viewing experience.
I would argue that Skyward Sword Zelda is more magically potent than BOTW and TOTK Zelda. For two reasons: back when she was Hylia, she was the one that forged the goddess sword and also created a fully sentient life form that she named Fi. And it was only by her divine power that the goddess sword was able to be completely transformed into the blade of evil's bane. Also, while princess Zelda during the events of BOTW was able to hold Calamity Gannon at bay for 100 years, the Zelda from Skyloft was able to keep Demise sealed for thousands of years. Not to mention that I don't think draconification offered as much as suggested in the video. The only reason she swallowed her secret stone was so she could ensure the Master Sword would be repaired and it would safely be held until Link is able to retrieve it. Transforming into a dragon from what I could tell, didn't offer her any new abilities or increase to her already powerful magic aside from giving her the longevity needed for Link to get the sword in the distant future.
Revealing her identity wasn't OoT Zelda's only or even most significant mistake. Her biggest mistake was having Link collect the sacred stones, which allowed Ganondorf to enter the sacred realm and obtain a piece of the Triforce. That mistake caused Hyrule to fall to ruin.
Great video! I watched your channel like a year ago and just rediscovered it and you are very fun to watch and especially entertaining because Zelda is my favorite series
FINALLY, the video I have been waiting for! I subscribed for the Link and villain power videos years ago, and now we finally have the final part of the trinity.
I hope so as well. I was really hoping that TOTK would have Zelda adventure alongside Link like in Spirit Tracks; my biggest fear was that, after BOTW ended on Link and Zelda reuniting and setting out together, TOTK would immediately press undo and open with "Link, you must find Zelda." I enjoyed what TOTK did with Zelda overall, but I was saddened that my fear proved to be correct.
ALTTP’s Zelda score didn’t take into account the huge amount of wisdom she has, acting as the hint character and giving you all sorts of info during the dark world half of the game, on those psionic tiles.
Absolutely awesome job. We can all nitpick about little changes that we might make in the rankings, but it’s clear that you put a ton of effort into this, and I found it very entertaining and learned a lot or was reminded of some things I had forgotten. I absolutely love the character of Zelda and these last few games, including Age of Calamity (to go along with BotW & TotK), make me love her all the more. Wonderful job!
Important Note about that Ocarina of Time feat: When YOU time travel using the Master Sword at the Temple of Time, you're going back to pre-7 years, AFTER Zelda has fled and after Ganondorf has entered the Sacred Realm. When ZELDA makes you time travel, she 1) Does it with her Lullaby and NOT the Song of Time, and 2) Sends you back to BEFORE Young Zelda fled, allowing Young Link to tell her about Ganondorf and eventually get him tried, attempted executed, and sealed by TP. She sends you back further, and without the power of the Song that, at least in MM, had the power to do that.
51:35 I gotta sharply disagree here, I don’t think Zelda “failed to make the connection,” the way she’s speaking here is just the “proper” way of implying a disagreement with Rauru’s actions without outright stating the true issue. I presume she internalized this way of speaking from her childhood as a royal, but it’s also very similar to “professional” speech in the modern day… such speech patterns were even internalized among the white middle class a few generations ago to the point that relying on implications for communication is an entire worldview, & that Zelda might not even recognize her speech as “meek” or “cowardly,” that’s just the way she talks. She likely believes her true meaning is crystal clear, & I think Rauru understood her meaning as well, he was just being political. He even outright says so in his own slightly nebulous political language, but with a very clear gist of intention. He knows Ganon is going to pull something, he just believes he’ll be able to handle it, & is “keeping an eye on him” with the express purpose of doing so.
11:42 Wow, the "almost killed by Link" part would've been an interesting inclusion in the final game. Or any modern game, really; adds a lot of tension and dialogue openings for our chronically silent protag. I really wish Nintendo would experiment more with taking link out of the "self-insert character" mold a bit more because there's been a lot of opportunities to do so in nearly every game. He has as much potential to be an interesting character as he does to be anything else at this point.
Sheik didn’t just show strength and ability but also great wisdom, leadership, and intelligence. Definitely a top 5 character of all time and it’s not debatable.
Sheik made so much of an impact on Masahiro Sakurai, that he made her one of the best characters in Smash Bros, and in every title since she's been among the better characters. Zelda meanwhile is always one of the worse characters.
I think Tetra got the short end in leadership. don't forget she founded New Hyrule on top of her WW feats. I also think It's a bit unfair to count "abiity granting artifacts" twice as both magic and weapons...
Which Zelda UA-camr is the best? Physical and voice atributes - Zeltik 10/10, Storytelling abilities - Zeltik 10/10, Zelda lore knowledge - Zeltik 14/10 :D, Finished let's plays - Zeltik 6/10 (But there is dramatically growing trend thanks to Zeldudes...). Which makes the score 40. :))
Suggestion: Update the other two Lists with the info from Tears of the Kingdom. Both Link and Ganon did show new traits, so their entries deserve to have that put into it. On the note of this video: good summary of the Zelda’s and it made me want to revisit Spirit Tracks and Windwaker. Thanks for the video and I look forward to your next one. (Silly suggestion: Most USELESS item per game. Great tinder for a boisterous comment section. That or what traditional item would completely unbalance a game if introduced to it. Kind of like how the Hookshot would have made BotW FAAAAR easier or how LttP’s Magic Cape would have demolished tension in most other games.)
I know you chose not to take into account spin off games but Hyrule Warriors Zelda is so powerful and despite being a damsel in distress at least once in the game you do end up putting her front and center and see how much power she really has. With multiple weapon proficiencies and powerful light magic. They really gave her and other characters a lot of love in that game.
I dunno why i never considered this as a logical next video after the ganon and link videos, its so obvious now and i love it!. It would be awesome to consider some of the repeated side characters too (coolest dampe, shrewdest businessperson beetle, most badass impa)
I think the problem with the ToTK Zelda is that you're fusing stats of two VERY different characters. As the Light Dragon, Zelda shows very little initiative or even really awareness until the final battle, and even then it's unclear if she's acting on raw instinct or has any understanding of who Link is or what's going on. The tech, knowledge, understanding, and magical powers she shows in the past should be COMPLETELY separated from the Light Dragon stats.
"Oracle Zelda doesn't appear until the end" Someone didn't play the linked games. She makes several small appearances throughout Labrynna and Holodrum as you make your way through. This likely would have netted her another point or two in the leadership category.
I wonder where Echoes of Wisdom's Zelda fits in. Becoming a dragon and purifying swords is all well and good, but EoW Zelda can make beds out of thin air! She should probably get 40/10 in the Item category alone!
Honestly I think the fact that minish cap zelda was able to do so much while having practically all her energy drained speaks volumes and should have given her a max magic stat because that was her magic RUNNING ON FUMES like thats absolutely crazy man imagine if she was at full capacity
The art for the oracle Link also looks much younger than the Link to The Past or Link's Awakening artwork, but if they're all confirmed the same it can be put down to an art style for that game and therefore the oracle zelda is most likely the LttP one too
@joannetrueman6838 the timelines have Link to the Past, the oracle games and Link's Awakening as all having the same Link and follow his adventures outside of Hyrule after beating Ganon
If EoW Zelda was on this list, I have a feeling she’d rank pretty high. Her magic may not be her own, but she gets the Triforce of Wisdom and the Tri Rod, on top of being able to use Link’s Sword of Might for most of the game, so her Items stat would probably be a 10.
My personal theory for Zelda not making the connection between Calamity Gannon and Gannondorf is that sealing the Calamity was traumatic for her. This would make her want to forget the experience.
The way I see it, her not immediately jumping to conclusions based on evidence as circumstancial as "their names are similar" isn't deserving of being called a "lapse in judgment". Sure, you can argue that she could've at least voiced the possibility out loud-the name "giving her pause" means she already holds those suspicions at that point-but then what? Should she have demanded his immediate imprisonment/execution "just to be on the safe side", when there's nothing concrete and definitive to indicate Ganondorf IS, without ANY room for doubt, that heavily-disfigured mummy she met in the present? Would those specific suspicions being shared with Rauru have led to any significant changes in how he dealt with the Gerudo leader, when he was already explicitly wary of the guy in the first place?
@@ShycoWar Actually, it probably WOULD make a difference. Rauru was wary of Ganondorf but was still operating under the assumption that he could simply overpower him if need be-an assumption which was proven false. If Zelda made the connection between Ganondorf and Calamity Ganon, it would have meant that Ganondorf was far stronger than Rauru assumed and may have changed his decisions.
also… she knows there’s thousands of years in between ganondorf and the calamity, and she has been told all her life that the calamity is just a faceless, soulless evil of personified destruction. she probably plain lacks the imagination to realise that this guy started tens of thousands of years of that… and knows too much about ruling and politics to just plain tell Rauru how to run his kingdom. especially since she knows that there have been a lot of tensions with the gerudo.

Thick thighs saves lives
I totally agree with this comment
YES! THis!!
Caught offguard _and_ unarmed
@@PsykheoftheStars"How was she supposed to defend herself out there!!"
Kid named Magic:

It's hard to say cuz y'know magic but I'd assume bows made out of light aren't the heaviest lol
@@dorianwiesner4477ok but it's made of light it's pretty safe to assume it doesn't weigh anything nor require strength to draw back
Regardless of what people think of Spirit Tracks, I will always be thankful that it was a very experimental game and gave us what basically is the first Princess Zelda that takes an active role alongside Link. Especially since she is just a child when the events of the game happen, and she has already taking the role of a leader and now a warrior that helps and protects Link.
i only recently got my hands on spirit tracks and its version of zelda is no doubt one of my favorites for this exact reason.
She also has a fun personality. The DS games were my first Zeldas and they are so underrated
She is also a flawed character who need to evolve wich make her way more human than most of the other Zeldas who are simply wise and beautiful
Further, as we saw in the ending, not only did she make it to the Skyview Spring _and_ to the entrance to the Fire Sanctuary, she did so _on foot, alone, and without a weapon._ That's in two _vastly_ separate locations, with one on top of a _ruddy volcano._
Link needed to ride a giant chicken-thing to get around the Surface, and how many times did he get discovered & clobbered when running around weaponless in the significantly-smaller Silent Realm?
Holy crap you're right. The way you described this literally made me laugh out loud
Except she was a student at the knight academy.
But Skyward Sword Zelda WAS a student at the knight academy
@@PsykheoftheStars She was? I thought she just lived there because her father was the headmaster. In that case she should really rank high on the physical due to her training as a knight.
Yeah, her and Impa made it through all the dungeons faster than Link could, she had to be doing some kind of physical activity for all that 😅
At the very least, she should have a decent amount of strength in order to ride a loftwing imo. Like, holding onto a giant bird in the air with just her body would definitely require some athleticism
Props to Terra's physicality - we do see her high jump over Ganon and dodge his strikes at the forsaken fortress. She's only nabbed by him when she is distracted by link - the great goof.
He's a funny little guy
It's wonderful how the scene of Zelda sealing herself in SS never fails to almost bring a tear to my eyes, just like Fi's Farewell. I absolutely love that game
Y’know, Spirit Tracks might not be very popular, but those of us who love it *really* love it! It’s nice to see its Zelda get the credit she deserves.
Even if the physical stat for BotW/TotK Zelda was lowered to exclude the light dragon form (3 or 4 instead of 10) she still ranks highest overall.
Can’t wait to see where Echoes of Wisdom Zelda ranks in this list.
The top(probably). She went on an adventure.
I'd say you could make a solid argument for either second or first place
Her item stat alone is 40/10.
This was before that game was released.

Little did i know that it was Zelda all along, guiding us throughout the temples and teaching us.
o that's cute, I never considered this when I was little.

It's funny that you said that because when looking at the old lady in Spirit Tracks she kinda resembles Tetra.

Was looking for this. Thought I was going crazy
Really Glad you're finally completing the trilogy after four years, and yeah, due to TOTK the Ganon list really needs an update.
Tetra’s downgrade from The Wind Waker to damsel in distress for Phantom Hourglass is probably one of the most disappointing things for the character
Yeah but it does show her capable of telepathy as she talks to you every time you close the game. Unless my memory is tricking me.
@@hi-ougidemonfangyeah, she says "Link save me"
Good thing Spirit Tracks came along to right that wrong!
You should do a power ranking for the minions of each game. So specifically the enemies that work for the main antagonist. You could look at things like how well they protect/guard for their master’s bidding, intelligence, variety, etc. Great video, keep up the fantastic work.
Phantoms would be top tier they can tank almost everything and the guys from link between worlds can take hits from the master sword 3

zelda saving midna is part of why i love the twilight princess incarnation of her. she's amazing!
Can't believe he's already gonna have to update this video, especially since EoW Zelda will probably be one of the more powerful ones.
Love these videos but sometimes the scores make me laugh a bit:
Tetra shown with a dagger she never uses, and a bow she only shoots while stationary at a distracted Ganondorf: 5 on weapons.

Vaati and Girahim would be top
Demise would be on top
@@SombreroPharoah do we consider Demise as Non Ganon? Pretty sure a God would trump everyone
Thank you, I've haven't finish watching the video yet, but thank you. I've been waiting so long.

"...WAIT WHAT'S THAT??? IT'S ECHOES OF WISDOM ZELDA WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!"
I'd love to see Echoes of Wisdom Zelda added here. She would have among the best magic and item scores by a wide margin
Funny how zelda was at her physical strongest (whilst still retaining her form) when she was dead

I subscribed for the Link and villain power videos years ago, and now we finally have the final part of the trinity.
ST Zelda is my favourite, and I hope the next one is a combination of her and BotW/TotK's Zelda; powerful in the lore and powerful in the gameplay
This was a great video Zeltik, loved the attention to detail
I have been waiting so long for a new video form zero happy it is finally here
I'm just glad Zeltik is back after an absence of TWO MONTHS. I know he's had gaps in between videos before, but he really kept me waiting.
Calling Tetra the 'alter ego' feels wrong. She's Tetra through and through.
Important Note about that Ocarina of Time feat:
When YOU time travel using the Master Sword at the Temple of Time, you're going back to pre-7 years, AFTER Zelda has fled and after Ganondorf has entered the Sacred Realm.
Incredible video, research and input was awesome. Thanks a bunch x 1000. Made this batch of cleaning so enjoyable haha.
Such a cool video! I can't wait for the rest of your triology "best incarnation of". So happy to follow you throughout these last years 🫶
Sheik didn’t just show strength and ability but also great wisdom, leadership, and intelligence.
Seeing those graphics and animations really made me think of tje time you put on this. I enjoy your videos, so thank you! Keep doing it :D
Return of the King 👑
Or shall I say queen?
Oh hey Bilsu
You mean princess.
I thought you were never making this video. We waited so long for this!
"Oracle Zelda doesn't appear until the end"
Someone didn't play the linked games. She makes several small appearances throughout Labrynna and Holodrum as you make your way through. This likely would have netted her another point or two in the leadership category.
1:22 I thought it was clearly a gigantic holy EMP…
I wonder where Echoes of Wisdom's Zelda fits in. Becoming a dragon and purifying swords is all well and good, but EoW Zelda can make beds out of thin air! She should probably get 40/10 in the Item category alone!
NO WAY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS
CHALLENGER APPROACHING
ZELDA IS NOW THE PROTAGONIST
Honestly I think the fact that minish cap zelda was able to do so much while having practically all her energy drained speaks volumes and should have given her a max magic stat because that was her magic RUNNING ON FUMES like thats absolutely crazy man imagine if she was at full capacity
Here comes the sun, doo doo doo doo
Awww man, I've been waiting for this video for YEARS. What a time to be alive.
The art for the oracle Link also looks much younger than the Link to The Past or Link's Awakening artwork, but if they're all confirmed the same it can be put down to an art style for that game and therefore the oracle zelda is most likely the LttP one too
It is said that oracle versions of Link and Zelda Are diffrent incarnations
@joannetrueman6838 the timelines have Link to the Past, the oracle games and Link's Awakening as all having the same Link and follow his adventures outside of Hyrule after beating Ganon
If EoW Zelda was on this list, I have a feeling she’d rank pretty high. Her magic may not be her own, but she gets the Triforce of Wisdom and the Tri Rod, on top of being able to use Link’s Sword of Might for most of the game, so her Items stat would probably be a 10.
It's also worth mentioning that young OOT zelda could throw the ocarina in the opposite direction in horseback. That's a strong arm
Echoes', 20 hearts; eat that immortal dragon with holy nukes.
My theory is that totk is written by a child
@@TheDapperDragon That’s a bad theory.
