With great apology I failed to give a credit to Michael Fonfara - the award winning key board player who drove this video with his fantastic work on the keys. The video would not have been the same without him
you credited dave rave as vocalist in this vid when it was only paul singing.... always triple check your copy content. :) it's great to finally find and hear this.. i knew they did it but didn't realize it was on youtube until today.
I would listen to radio again,,IF THEY PLAYED ROCK N ROLL ,,MAN WHAT A SHAME THIS STUFF IS NOT ON THE AIR WAVES,,THEY SHIT THEY CRAM DOWN THE KIDS THROATS TODAY IS HORRIABLE.THERE MISSN OUT BIG TIME,,GREAT TUNE BOYS,,RIP GORDY AND FRANKIE,
In fact Dave Rave did sing 'Shake' with them that day so I thought he deserved some credit for being there although you are correct he is not on this video. Too much credit is better than no credit at all.
The Flaming Groovies were a bloody great band! like a lot of things -the longer the genre drags on the more people try to reinvent something or give it new life! sometimes it is great - other times it is pretty average!
Jesus that is Clem Burke on the drums....one of the best drummers for my $!!!!!!!!!!
Yup!
RIP Gord.
