Shōbōgenzō Ji-Kuin-Mon 示庫院文 'Sentences to be Shown in the Kitchen Hall' by Eihei Dōgen (1200-1253). The translation is by my Zen ‘grandfather’ Gudō Wafu Nishijima (1919-2014) and his student, Mike Chodo Cross. please wash the lentils please, rice doesnt have as much fiber or protein or other nutrients.
please find organic lentils with at least 40-50% fiber per 1/4 cup
then please eat 1.5 cups for 300% fiber per day.
