I found out on this game and the original supermarket simulator game that if you box up and place all registers on the ground and then save by quitting to menu and then opening the game again, a new register will be there. You can do this over and over again having as many registers as you want and then sell them each for 500 bucks in this game or 250 bucks in the original game. Its a bit time consuming but not a bad way to make some easy cash. Also i made a video yesterday showing how to get on top of the store building.
18 year's ago me and my brother were teens working at Asda and being gamers we always joked about Supermarket Simulator being a funny concept, I can't believe they are actually a thing now 😂. Will make sure to avoid wasting money on these thank you👍

The game has a few issues: I stop being able to pick things up, which quitting to main menu fixes. Doing this at night when the light is on, leaves the store in darkness when you reload. Sometimes setting the price doesnt "click". I really wish it didnt remember what price I just chose for the bread when Im now repricing coffee, cos it certainly wasnt 2 euros. I agree with the van location issue, its unnecessarily tedious. I only have a few shelves and a fridge, its already a pain to collect boxes. Things added to basket disappears when exiting the computer. Thats gonna be a pain when I have more items to order. To hire a restocker I had to expand a still empty ish store once, buy the storage, then a rack. there is no way Ill be doing this without a loan 😭 This is more of a personal gripe than a bug though lol. Addicting game though.

While Im here, has anyone had issues with the second oil glitching through the till when you're manually checking out? I had to take the damn thing off my shelves until I could hire a second cashier. Customers would stand there and refuse to pay until you scanned that now invisible bottle. Also DO NOT load to title screen when you have customers, they disappear, taking all the products they picked up for free. And now my stocker glitches when I'm moving storage stock around. I should've saved my money for Parkitech 😂
We don't have the original version as an option on console so these off brand versions are the only choices at the moment This is the best out of all the current versions. You just have to be VERY careful not to click on new game loading in. Youll lose all your progress instantly
I was expecting to be managing a large supermarket, I was quite surprised when I bought the game and discovered I have to stock shelfs, change price labels and serve customers in a tiny shop! I know it grows but it really feels like being a shop assistant. Also I'm not sure why I'm limited to purchasing 10 items, or when or how that changes.
Yea later on you get the upgrades to have cashiers, restockers etc. I guess the idea was to kinda start your own business type of thing, work your way up etc. Yea but ultimately you will still have to label the shelves yourself, when you get the restocker he doesn't get the stock from the truck, he will only grab from the stockroom. So that is a major pain! I guess with the labelling its because prices change and you have to react to that yourself 🤷♂️ The 10 item ordering makes no sense to me, my therory is that maybe it will spawn too much stock at once and crash the game 🤷♂️ Plus Its a pump and dump game, just a cash grab.
I have it, it's definitely got good potential with a few major updates. Like another comment said, it's such a hassle paying for a restocker who won't even unload the boxes when you buy them. I quite like the simplicity though somehow 🤣. Edit: Also there's a glitch which makes it so you can't open or interact with new boxes and you have to go to the main menu and reload.
Been weirdly addicted to this since getting it earlier in the week. It's pretty chilled but some aspects of the game play really bug me, namely: 1. The TINY selection dot makes checking goods out and almost any other task a total ball-ache. Particularly for check out, it should have a wider selection field so you can select items more easily. 2. Further to this, the weird placement of items and the even weirder unecessary gaps between them on the till conveyor just makes it needlessly awkward and clunky. 3. Ordering replacement stock will only allow you to order up to 10 items at a time. Not a problem while you only have a few product lines, but quickly gets annoying as you expand the product range. 4. Further to the 3rd point, once you have the stockroom (storage), you have to patrol the racks to figure out how much to re-order. The shelf tags tell you how much of any given item is there. So with that in mind and given you have a store computer, it'd be so much better if you could see your stock levels on the computer instead, and re-order accordingly. Again, this becomes increasingly problematic the more product items you have. 5. Lastly, pricing items should reset as you move from one shelf tag to the next, not carry the last one through, which you have to delete before you can put in the actual price. All in all, it's a fairly shitty game yet somehow the concept grabs and won't let go. Hope someone develops a way better version soon as the potential here is huge.

17 out of 22 trophies or 71 percent but my remaining trophies are unlock product license 15 and 26 as well as store expansion 15. The other trophy though i think is glitched. Ive bought 2 cashiers and never got the trophy for buy your first cashier. I even tried firing both and rehiring a cashier but no trophy.

Btw not sure if you said on your game that the timer starts immediately but it shouldn't. On mine the time only begins when I open for the day. So what I do is I make sure bills are paid, lights are on and I order the products I need and place them on the shelf and then I start the day. Sometimes its very hard to pick up a box unless the cursor is in the perfect spot but when that happens I just hit options then quit to menu so it will save and then hit continue and it works normally again.
I just bought this on sale on the PSN store. Hopefully it won’t be a grind but knowing other simulators games I have played and got the plat for will expect a couple of trophies that will be terribly long.
I'm posting this here hoping that somehow it makes its way to the game devs. I encountered a game breaking bug on day 7. In my cart was an item with no name and a value of 9, or 999, or 9999.99 depending where on the screen you look. Like in the corner of the screen it says one item with a value of 9. In the checkout screen it looks like it will let you buy it, but you can't actually buy it or even remove it from the cart. By default the amount of the mystery item is blank, which conflicts with the other in the top right saying 1 item, and you can move that arrow to add more but it doesn't change any of the other values on the screen. If I leave the computer and come back, it's still there. If I quit to title and reload, it's still there. So I have to start completely over - at least it was only day 7. I couldn't log into my PlayStation account to report the issue directly. Also, this next is kinda a funny glitch but at least there's a workaround. There's this one customer I call Olive Oil Karen. It's actually more than one customer that does this but it's always a woman. If her first two items are olive oil and you click one of them to scan, the other one goes flying off the screen making it impossible to complete the transaction. You have to close the register or hire a cashier to take her. Olive Oil tends to try to go behind the keypad and disappear if you click on anything else first, but Olive Oil Karen is the only one who you can't just click on it first to get around that, because those are usually the only items on the conveyor belt at that point and it doesn't matter which one of those two you click because the other one always goes flying. (I have a head canon for why this is. Obviously Karen thought it was a two for one sale and when she finds out she has to pay for them both she pitches a fit and throws the other one forcing you to stop the transaction and call for backup. Lol)
You see this is the EXACT thing I am trying to warn people of with these games they are not made properly and bug/glitch out🤬 These companies must be stopped! Its just for a fast buck, disgraceful!
@@Fat_Cat_Caravan That's just it though. Even though it is a copycat game, a lot of that is on the original developer for ignoring the console market. The fact that a nobody company can put out a game like this that is actually playable with some half decent and has some decent potential (and personally I think this one is a lot of fun too despite being a grind) so quickly and with moderate success by the ratings, means that the original developer needs to take some pride in their work get off their butts and bring their actual game into the markets that want it before other companies ruin it for them. Yeah it's shovelware, but I have seen a LOT worse and Supermarket Simulator team need to take it as a wakeup call that glitched out games based on their own work can do so well. We shouldn't be playing these knockoffs, we should be playing the original, but it's their own fault that it's not available.

Like you say, for a knock off it's really well done and actually worth playing if not for some of these glitches. On the other hand there are people out there who specifically play glitchy games for the fun of it. Or people who take normal games and figure out how to make them glitch. I can't help but turn my camera and giggle every time my stocker slides out the door (unless I'm mistaken, the original Supermarket Simulator doesn't even have a stocker). Another funny one is when multiple people go after the same item at once they form a zombie glitch swarm that keeps walking directly into the shelf even if you pick it up and move it. If stuff like that was ever actually done on purpose to be funny it'd be gold. Just look at Goat Simulator. Oh by the way, the reason you couldn't get the rack to work is because it can only be placed in the storage room.

After I bought a license the objectives just stopped showing up for me but I can’t get someone to stock the shelves until I have completed objectives. So I’m stuck stacking LOADS of shelves 😅😢
This happened for me too, you kinda just have to figure out what actions contribute to the objectives on your own! Unlocking the storage (and later expanding it), along with purchasing storage racks will contribute to the restocker objectives and allow you to hire them 👍

I love this game, only thing is, up until recently, the darn delivery truck was around the block, but recently they fixed that. And also, can't take the tags off the bottom of the shelves n occasionally can't pick up the boxes so u have to leave n come back. I'm like level 40 or so right now

Mine keeps freezing. I was almost to 20 and my customers keep freezing. Thought it was the checker, it's the customers because I fired the checker and the customers just stand there. If I quit and comeback, all the customers are gone and I've made barely any profit. It's so frustrating.
Got a little hint for ya to get you started, pick up ALL of your cash registers and sell them. Then Immediately save/quit to the main menu, then load back in and you will see you have made money from selling the tills, also the game has to give you another for it to function. Rinse & Repeat! 😁
A better supermarket simulator would be similar to other sims. Top down. Manage inventory. Check spoilages/broken items. Catch shoplifters, mark down items. Manage staff. Train staff etc. Doing the actual checkout is so mundane. I'd be all over that Was also thinking you could choose from a number of supermarket types, I.e. Bodega with food, Corner Store, Large Conglomerates similar to Costco/Walmart. Or even a career mode where you start out as a bagger and train and study to be a CEO I'd pay good money for that game! Expansions to cover different Countries Including local food and currency
this is a response to the original version on steam so i see why these copy cats are so boring lol Really enjoyed this game at the beginning, but its now been over 3 months since any updates and has now made the game very tedious. the creators have raked in our cash with promises of updates and improvements within the games but as they have got their maximum sales targets they have now abandoned the game left us high and dry with a half finshed game
How do you know whats on the top shelves of the storage racks? I find the top shelves useless because i cant see the label on the box & the rack doesn't create a label for the shelf

No so basically they are all different games, clone ripoff's mostly being made by the same set of devs. This one Is probably the best of the bunch if I am honest. It has its problems, like not being able to pick up the boxes sometimes, which is an easy fix by going back to the menu and load up again 👍 You cannot change the city your store is in no.
Gonna ask I know you probably do, but do you have the stock room unlocked? Also he will just stand there if your shelves are full and theres no stock in the stock room. I know it sounds obvious, but have to ask lol
I have a problem where some of my boxes are too far back in my truck and I can't reach them, so thats wasted inventory at this point. Is there a fix for that? Also my truck is still down at the corner. At what point in the game does it come closer to my store?
Ok was you aware you can jump into the truck? So so boxes should be unreachable. Also press options on the game's icon on the PS home screen and select "Check for Update" It sounds like you are running an old version. When you update, you will have the truck closer 👍
I'm considering buying even the bad ones at least for trophies but I worry it'll be a game that has trophies popping but not able to view the list or sync the trophies to the list.
I can confirm that two trophies are glitched. The one for buying your first cashier and the one for running 30 days. Both have come and gone without popping, however my wife was able to get the month trophy. So it's hit or miss.
ive got this on ps5, before i had one i couldn't get on with so tried this, and im upto about level 23. In your opinion, which is the best one for PS5. I tried one on pc but due to the age of my machine it kept crashing. Which would you recommend for PS5
I haven't tried because thats the main reason I play on console, so I don't have to lol There isn't any options for it, but sometimes it works anyway, worth a shot 👍
@fin11324 yea don't go too mad at the start, buying everything. As a rule as far as the price goes for selling an item, you can pretty much get 100% profit. Just look at the "Market Price" then sell it a liitle bit under that and you will be flying before you know it. So for example if you bought milk at £1.20 and the market price was £2.50 you can sell easily at £2.40 👍 without pissing off customers

I made a video showing how bad Thief Heist Master Simulator was and how it doesnt have anything that it claims or shows is in the trailer and the trophies dont sync. Id assume any game they make will be the same. Keep an eye out for their company name.

Unluckily, i first bought the game and then found your video. The game is super buggy. You are often not able to pick up boxes and you are able to buy a storage but there is no storage, even after i bought it.. so i spend a bunch of money for nothing.
Ok so the picking up boxes is a simple fix, save then after select back to menu and reload 👍 As for the storage, I have got it no probs 🤔 not sure why that is
I’m actually watching this video because I’m having the same problem. I bought the storage but haven’t been able to find where the storage is and therefore can’t use a rack. Without placing a rack, I won’t be able to get a loader to help me. I was hoping that the problem was just that I was just too unobservant to find where the storage room was and was trying to watch videos to see if I could find where it is.

I just bought this game on ps4 and cannot fucking get it to work. I start a new game and it gives me that opening message and wishes me luck with the big ok button. But nothing I press after that will do anything. If it's frozen it's only the video. This is such a piss off, and I bought this game to help me chill out fml.

Well, I'll be fucked; they actually updated the game. They fixed one of the game breaking glitches and moved the truck a little closer. It still tears like a mother fucker and the stock boy floats around when holding boxes and there's still that glitch where you can't pick up boxes, but there's actually someone trying to bandage this car wreck patient.

Those originals arent on console though.. They rarely ever care to put them on console so we get the copy versions. They keep using AI images. The fact theyve all shadow dropped at the same time, I actually think the same people are making them all and just trying to gain the most money by covering the market on consoles. I dont expect any updates given the low effort ai images and the multiple games

What if you intentionally only give like 10 bucks back to people who pay cash and are owed 80? Youd make money and only lose xp Edit: ok i noticed you can only short change them by like 5 bucks at most or so. But if you do that to those paying with cash who are owed like more than 5 bucks, you can give them all but 5 and make a 5 dollar tip essentially each time lol.

I found if the game doesn't open the market for me to just move the dot below the market icon and then back up and hit it once or twice and it opens.

it just looks like you did’nt know that you set your product prices. £21 profit in a day wont get you very far, set prices properly and you make hundreds profit a day. you would litrally be playing the game a year and still not filling 2 shelves with stock😂

Between this and the real one? The real one was made by competent devs and plays way better.Also has good support with a ton of upgrades coming, plus its ONLY on PC. This is all we have on console, its the best of the shit.

I have it, it's definitely got good potential with a few major updates. Like another comment said, it's such a hassle paying for a restocker who won't even unload the boxes when you buy them. I quite like the simplicity though somehow 🤣.
Edit: Also there's a glitch which makes it so you can't open or interact with new boxes and you have to go to the main menu and reload.

Been weirdly addicted to this since getting it earlier in the week. It's pretty chilled but some aspects of the game play really bug me, namely:
1. The TINY selection dot makes checking goods out and almost any other task a total ball-ache. Particularly for check out, it should have a wider selection field so you can select items more easily.
2. Further to this, the weird placement of items and the even weirder unecessary gaps between them on the till conveyor just makes it needlessly awkward and clunky.
3. Ordering replacement stock will only allow you to order up to 10 items at a time. Not a problem while you only have a few product lines, but quickly gets annoying as you expand the product range.
4. Further to the 3rd point, once you have the stockroom (storage), you have to patrol the racks to figure out how much to re-order. The shelf tags tell you how much of any given item is there. So with that in mind and given you have a store computer, it'd be so much better if you could see your stock levels on the computer instead, and re-order accordingly. Again, this becomes increasingly problematic the more product items you have.
5. Lastly, pricing items should reset as you move from one shelf tag to the next, not carry the last one through, which you have to delete before you can put in the actual price.
All in all, it's a fairly shitty game yet somehow the concept grabs and won't let go. Hope someone develops a way better version soon as the potential here is huge.

17 out of 22 trophies or 71 percent but my remaining trophies are unlock product license 15 and 26 as well as store expansion 15. The other trophy though i think is glitched. Ive bought 2 cashiers and never got the trophy for buy your first cashier. I even tried firing both and rehiring a cashier but no trophy.

Btw not sure if you said on your game that the timer starts immediately but it shouldn't. On mine the time only begins when I open for the day. So what I do is I make sure bills are paid, lights are on and I order the products I need and place them on the shelf and then I start the day. Sometimes its very hard to pick up a box unless the cursor is in the perfect spot but when that happens I just hit options then quit to menu so it will save and then hit continue and it works normally again.

I just bought this on sale on the PSN store. Hopefully it won’t be a grind but knowing other simulators games I have played and got the plat for will expect a couple of trophies that will be terribly long.

I'm posting this here hoping that somehow it makes its way to the game devs. I encountered a game breaking bug on day 7. In my cart was an item with no name and a value of 9, or 999, or 9999.99 depending where on the screen you look. Like in the corner of the screen it says one item with a value of 9. In the checkout screen it looks like it will let you buy it, but you can't actually buy it or even remove it from the cart. By default the amount of the mystery item is blank, which conflicts with the other in the top right saying 1 item, and you can move that arrow to add more but it doesn't change any of the other values on the screen. If I leave the computer and come back, it's still there. If I quit to title and reload, it's still there. So I have to start completely over - at least it was only day 7.
I couldn't log into my PlayStation account to report the issue directly.
Also, this next is kinda a funny glitch but at least there's a workaround. There's this one customer I call Olive Oil Karen. It's actually more than one customer that does this but it's always a woman. If her first two items are olive oil and you click one of them to scan, the other one goes flying off the screen making it impossible to complete the transaction. You have to close the register or hire a cashier to take her.
Olive Oil tends to try to go behind the keypad and disappear if you click on anything else first, but Olive Oil Karen is the only one who you can't just click on it first to get around that, because those are usually the only items on the conveyor belt at that point and it doesn't matter which one of those two you click because the other one always goes flying. (I have a head canon for why this is. Obviously Karen thought it was a two for one sale and when she finds out she has to pay for them both she pitches a fit and throws the other one forcing you to stop the transaction and call for backup. Lol)
You see this is the EXACT thing I am trying to warn people of with these games they are not made properly and bug/glitch out🤬
These companies must be stopped!

@@Fat_Cat_Caravan That's just it though. Even though it is a copycat game, a lot of that is on the original developer for ignoring the console market. The fact that a nobody company can put out a game like this that is actually playable with some half decent and has some decent potential (and personally I think this one is a lot of fun too despite being a grind) so quickly and with moderate success by the ratings, means that the original developer needs to take some pride in their work get off their butts and bring their actual game into the markets that want it before other companies ruin it for them. Yeah it's shovelware, but I have seen a LOT worse and Supermarket Simulator team need to take it as a wakeup call that glitched out games based on their own work can do so well. We shouldn't be playing these knockoffs, we should be playing the original, but it's their own fault that it's not available.

Like you say, for a knock off it's really well done and actually worth playing if not for some of these glitches. On the other hand there are people out there who specifically play glitchy games for the fun of it. Or people who take normal games and figure out how to make them glitch.
I can't help but turn my camera and giggle every time my stocker slides out the door (unless I'm mistaken, the original Supermarket Simulator doesn't even have a stocker). Another funny one is when multiple people go after the same item at once they form a zombie glitch swarm that keeps walking directly into the shelf even if you pick it up and move it.
If stuff like that was ever actually done on purpose to be funny it'd be gold. Just look at Goat Simulator.
Oh by the way, the reason you couldn't get the rack to work is because it can only be placed in the storage room.

After I bought a license the objectives just stopped showing up for me but I can’t get someone to stock the shelves until I have completed objectives. So I’m stuck stacking LOADS of shelves 😅😢

This happened for me too, you kinda just have to figure out what actions contribute to the objectives on your own! Unlocking the storage (and later expanding it), along with purchasing storage racks will contribute to the restocker objectives and allow you to hire them 👍

Mine keeps freezing. I was almost to 20 and my customers keep freezing. Thought it was the checker, it's the customers because I fired the checker and the customers just stand there. If I quit and comeback, all the customers are gone and I've made barely any profit. It's so frustrating.
Got a little hint for ya to get you started, pick up ALL of your cash registers and sell them.
Then Immediately save/quit to the main menu, then load back in and you will see you have made money from selling the tills, also the game has to give you another for it to function.

A better supermarket simulator would be similar to other sims. Top down. Manage inventory. Check spoilages/broken items. Catch shoplifters, mark down items. Manage staff. Train staff etc. Doing the actual checkout is so mundane. I'd be all over that
Was also thinking you could choose from a number of supermarket types, I.e. Bodega with food, Corner Store, Large Conglomerates similar to Costco/Walmart. Or even a career mode where you start out as a bagger and train and study to be a CEO

No so basically they are all different games, clone ripoff's mostly being made by the same set of devs.
This one Is probably the best of the bunch if I am honest.

Ok was you aware you can jump into the truck? So so boxes should be unreachable.
Also press options on the game's icon on the PS home screen and select "Check for Update"

I can confirm that two trophies are glitched. The one for buying your first cashier and the one for running 30 days. Both have come and gone without popping, however my wife was able to get the month trophy. So it's hit or miss.
I can confirm that they are not bugged and got them both a just 3 trophies left for plat.

As a rule as far as the price goes for selling an item, you can pretty much get 100% profit.
Just look at the "Market Price" then sell it a liitle bit under that and you will be flying before you know it.
So for example if you bought milk at £1.20 and the market price was £2.50 you can sell easily at £2.40 👍 without pissing off customers

Unluckily, i first bought the game and then found your video. The game is super buggy. You are often not able to pick up boxes and you are able to buy a storage but there is no storage, even after i bought it.. so i spend a bunch of money for nothing.
Ok so the picking up boxes is a simple fix, save then after select back to menu and reload 👍
As for the storage, I have got it no probs 🤔 not sure why that is
I’m actually watching this video because I’m having the same problem. I bought the storage but haven’t been able to find where the storage is and therefore can’t use a rack. Without placing a rack, I won’t be able to get a loader to help me. I was hoping that the problem was just that I was just too unobservant to find where the storage room was and was trying to watch videos to see if I could find where it is.

I just bought this game on ps4 and cannot fucking get it to work. I start a new game and it gives me that opening message and wishes me luck with the big ok button. But nothing I press after that will do anything. If it's frozen it's only the video. This is such a piss off, and I bought this game to help me chill out fml.

Well, I'll be fucked; they actually updated the game. They fixed one of the game breaking glitches and moved the truck a little closer. It still tears like a mother fucker and the stock boy floats around when holding boxes and there's still that glitch where you can't pick up boxes, but there's actually someone trying to bandage this car wreck patient.
I bought the this the UK version instead of the us I had to get the us also 🤦🏼♂️and it cost more then the us

I don’t get this trend. And all these scam clones trying to get people thinking theres versions of Supermarket Sim on console. People just get Gas Station Simulator or Barn Finders if you want a funny picker/auction game and there was another fantasy one where you sell weapons and armor I’ll update the name if i remember. These games were out way before cashing out groceries in a videogame got popular somehow. And they are legit indies ported from pc.

Yea but its not worth it inthe long run because the loss of XP will in the end stop you advancing to the higher levels needed for EVERYTHING in the game 😂

@Fat_Cat_Caravan yeah I'm level 6 or 7 and now making 280 plus each day (haven't had the chance to buy the items from first license but did buy license and new shelf). I found if the game doesn't open the market for me to just move the dot below the market icon and then back up and hit it once or twice and it opens.

it just looks like you did’nt know that you set your product prices. £21 profit in a day wont get you very far, set prices properly and you make hundreds profit a day. you would litrally be playing the game a year and still not filling 2 shelves with stock😂

Between this and the real one?
The real one was made by competent devs and plays way better.Also has good support with a ton of upgrades coming, plus its ONLY on PC. This is all we have on console, its the best of the shit.
