We are so happy to hear that you're enjoying your lift so far! We can't wait to see more updates videos in years to come! 👏
Based on the latest comment, it looks like I have another SS-11000-WD customer coming your way.
I thought you where going to lift the motorhome LOL
Thanks for the comment. I wish, lol. That would have been handy when I replaced the 40 ft long power steering hose.
I have the same lift; just put it up. I am wondering if you park the motorhome on it when its in the down position
Thanks for your comment. I spin the lift around sideways towards the back of the RV port. The rear overhang of the motorhome is over the runways, not on them. I have a short video that shows this.
I narrowed it down to 2 brand of lifts and it is the Advantage 11,000 lb like yours and the other brand you mentioned on your video. I myself was wondering about the ball bearing pulleys on the other brand verses the bushing pulley on the Advantage Lift. You just made my decision after I watched the videos you mentioned on UA-cam with the pulley failures on the other brand to go with Advantage Lift. Its a no brainer
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad I could help. Be sure to check out @advantage_lifts youtube channel for their installation video play list. It's an easy assembly process. I had the videos memorized while waiting on my lift. ua-cam.com/play/PLrdE9a3d68IIb4zOITpFq-YfZisAEySBe.html&si=F4gR5djhJL5coxtF
Came here for the review. Turns out he talked about a motor home instead.
If you have any questions about the lift, the motorhome or anything else, feel free to ask. Otherwise, troll on. Maybe you'll get your monies worth somewhere else.
Do you have a 20 amp breaker between lift and 50 amp service?
Thanks for your comment! I do not. The RV park box has a 50-amp breaker. I've run welders and plasma cutters for years on the same outlet without issue. Don't necessarily do as I do! I use this adapter. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HGJD6Z7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Thanks for the comments on this lift. Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions on your RV pad and cover?
Question? have you lifted front axle off the rails using that rolling jack for your 3500 Ram? Jack is 4500max rated and the front axel of a 3500 diesel may exceed that. Anyway I have a SuperDuty F350 and I'm thinking about this setup.
My RAM is a 2018 2500 4X4 with the Cummins diesel. Total weight with me in it is 8437 pounds. I have lifted the front with the air jack several times with no issue. I did lift it in another video. I'm not sure if I filmed the lifting part as it's kind of a 2-hand operation lowering it onto the locks. ua-cam.com/video/ZD9dkhh5jjQ/v-deo.html
I just bought a used one, took it apart, hauled it back home, put it back together. All the pulleys and pivot points for the locking tabs, I took apart and greased as mine doesn't have the grease zerks in place. The operation is now much smoother and unlocking linkage has no binding. I like it alot. I also have a 11K 2 post lift.
Thank you for your comment! A car lift is life changing as you get older. I wish I had bought one 30 years ago.
