morgan thank you for this!! people on youtube are so scared to share their honest opinions and its so hard to trust influencers, so i rlly appreciate ur transparency :)
I can appreciate peoples opinion and i have used plenty of cleansing oils. The Hada Labo oil rinses well for me after I emulsify the product with water. So sad it didn't work for you. 🥰
I agree. It emulsifies very well. I’ve tried multiple bottles and all of them emulsifies very well. It also wasn’t thick at all so I was a bit confused.
Yes, it's not thick and emulsifies really well. I tried a lot of cleansing oils and Hada Labo is my all time favorite that I have back ups. I live in Korea btw.
I hate Glossier's skincare, too. I've tried the milky jelly cleanser and the moon mask; both stung my face really badly and left it dry and with a painful rash. I think I might be allergic to something in it, but the ingredients aren't anything I've never used before in skincare (maybe it's the formulation). Too scared to try anything else from them again lol
i actually like the hada labo oil a lot. i used to cleanse with balms (like the heimish one, etc) but i found that sometimes i just don't have the time to melt them in my fingers, and using sth that's already liquid is faster. for me this oil melts everything quite effectively (i use 2 pumps) and i enjoy the little face massage i give myself with it :D and it rinses off nicely. i also put it all up in my eyes to clean mascara/eyeliner and it doesn't sting, which is amazing.
I recently discovered that dimethicone and silicone are the main causes of my acne and since stopping using anything with them my skin has totally cleared, minus one or 2 pimples around that time of the month. I think that the dimethicone was trapping everything under it including dirt and p.acnes bacteria and causing my acne to become inflared. I highly look down on any brand that sells a moisturizer for over $20 that contains dimethicone/silicone. Makeup, hair, and beauty companies use dimethicone because it's a very cheap way to provide "slip" to your product and it's found in just about everything..you really have to look for products that don't contain it. That's why I truly appreciate brands like The Ordinary who are totally upfront about which of their products contain silicone and I don't have to go searching the ingredients list.
Etsy has also beco me my best friend for getting my moisturizer and skincare needs met none of the lovely ladies over there put dimethicone in their products. I'm a big fan of goat's milk soap and lotion for my face from this little store called Grateful Goat Skincare over on etsy if anyone else has this problem you should check them out. :)
I feel you on the Huxley products!! I remember spending over $100 on them thinking they would do wonders on my skin. They ended up giving me an allergic reaction and I thought it was the moisturizer but it was every single product (cleanser, toner, eye cream, moisturizer) that was horrible to my skin. It burned and I had to immediately wash it off. My skin was red with a bunch of little bumps and extremely dry, it went away after a week and a half. Definitely my scariest skincare moment ever, now I always try products for sensitive skin and stay away from fragranced products 😔
Really? :O I use it since 3 three years and rebought it several times because it feels so soft and mild on my eyes compare to all other cleansing oils i have tried our for years😅😅i am seriously shook I guess it works different for everyone :)
That neogen thing hahaha I am from El Salvador 🇸🇻 that thing is a "paste" wich is kind of a natural sponge that comes from a bush and it costs less than a $1.00 for one piece 1 meter long. Jajajajaja Americans are so funny xD
i really loved the hada labo cleanser though, I found it much better than other brands like face shop, etude house, DHC and Kose oil cleansers which i also tried
Thank you for your honest opinion on certain beauty products. With millions of beauty products out there for the general beauty consumer. It can be both intimidating and overwhelming on what's the best products. Can you do one video on the latest launches of k-beauty. Luv k-,beauty. Enjoyed video very helpful! 🤗
imo the face shop, skinfood, and tonymoly are all not great brands, their products are super cute and affordable but the effectiveness is just okay and they use a ton of fragrance - and i don't hate fragrance but skinfood especially uses sooo much.
A product I absolutely hate but refuse to throw away because I bought it is a clay "mask" that is just clay powder you mix with water to make the mask. Ot just turns into a lumpy mud that's impossible to spread on your skin and it does absolutely nothing while creating a huge mess. Now i just have a giant tub of clay powder that idk what to do with. Also I love your look in this video! Very nostalgic to the early 2000's
I got the same result with the Aztec one, until I mixed the clay with apple cider vinegar. The ACV causes a fizzy reaction with the mud mask and leaves it smooth and evenly mixed. Maybe it might work on yours as well?! Also do not use the mask with metal.
The truth is that what works for some does not work for others. I can't use anything on my face that has fragrance in it. It makes my face red and I get little bumps(like an allergic reaction). Other people may not have that issue. I can use fragrance on my body with no problem. It's a continuous struggle!
I really like my Glossier products. The milk jelly cleanser is meh, and their foundation and concealer don't hold up well or cover anything, but they do have some products I absolutely LOVE. I struggled to find skin care products that actually worked for my skin for years. I have sensitive, dry, acne prone skin and the exfoliating skin perfecter and super bounce serum helped me get rid of my acne. I've tried Proactiv, Curology, and K-beauty and it all either did nothing, or dried my skin out.
The huxley scrub gives my face breakout like i have never been and eczema.. omg i dun even dare to use huxley stuffs now. The scrub was my first, and last
i wish i saw this video earlier 😭 i bought a strange loofa thing like that too because apparently it’s more sustainable (???) than traditional loofas but.....it’s just a straight up waste of money 😫
milky cleanser is my ride or die hahaha 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😂😂✨✨✨ all glossier makes is all I wear but their skincare like serums and stuff are not worth it for sure ✌🏻⚡️⚡️⚡️
Shell hate it because that one is even thicker than the Hada Labo ( which is a perfectly good product actually 🤣), and it's less effective than the hada labo too
Liz Torres I think I’ve seen a video where Morgan uses the DHC one which is why I’m so confused that she finds Hada Labo thick. 😂 I actually like DHC more than Hada Labo and I enjoy the thickness like actually olive oil.
I have the Huxley calming mask and a few other items that I bought as a set, it does nothing, the Moroccan Gardener body lotion is too diluted, I could put on 4-5 layers in the humid climate here in Singapore and still feel insufficient, the sweet therapy face scrub hurts and the pear night mask is again, too diluted. I have yet to try the oil sheet masks in the set. Perhaps the star is truly Sahara oil drop but I am not inclined to try it as Huxley is priced above the other brands even here in Asia. There are just too many other good brands to miss out if I waste more time on this brand.
I used the face shop pil cleanser and hated itttt. The fragrance is soo strong! Plus it felt like it took me 3 rinses to get it off properly. Do not recommend that one. I like the nivea cleansing oil they recently released way better ☺
I do not like the Face Shop rice brightening line either. It was my intro to the double cleanse and found everything left a film on my face. Put me off double cleansing for years.
Hi Morgan! Can you please make a review of Selena Gomez’s new makeup line, Rare Beauty? And maybe make a comparison with korean beauty products? Thanks!!!
I hate the cosrx salicylic acid daily cleanser. It literally dried my skin out, and never helped my acne, meanwhile many people said it made their skin soft and their acne was gone within a few weeks 🤔 definitely a bad & made me mad one bc it smelled nice and I was looking forward to it
Thank you beautiful!! Excellent video, honest review to the point,,I hate tarte concealer, (to extra),,We don't even know about the reviews in the site's, I having my doubts if is real people!!
Glossier makes me mad for making people so... Unlikable 🤣 it's all a e a t h e t i c s. I feel like it definitely targeted people who likes the idea of skincare or makeup, but "I'm not one of those (frivolous) girls" who couldn't be bothered for trial and error and now are screaming it's best sh they've ever put on their faces 🥴 ... Ugh. But thanks to them, brands are rebranding with minimal look. Cool. But that's about it.
omg eye patches I tried spa prescriptions or spa scription’s eyepatch is like about three or four times because I wasn’t actually sure that it was those that was irritating my eyes I actually had to go to the ER one night because my eyes were so swollen that I couldn’t even open my eyelids I look like I got stung by a bee or some thing it was so swollen those eyepatch is were horrible for me
I would say Klairs sof airy Uv essence. It gave me so much irritation and i got bad rashes which took a long time to heal. It also smells like someone just pealed a citrus fruit. Should have realised by the smell that using it would be a bad idea...
You should try The Lab(Korean brand). The sunscreen is by far the best one I've tried. I' ve tried a lot.Though it's moisturizing, it doesn't make my oily face greasy and and it DOESN'T sting. It also doesn't irritate my uber sensitive skin. The best thing is NO fragrance. Con is a bit expensive being 40ml.
Lol I love that oil cleanser 🤣 theres nothing wrong with it! It works, it doesnt sting my eyes, it has refills, its fragrance free.. seriously 🤣 why in the world is something in this list just because you dont like the texture!🤷🏽♀️
Luffa's are so gross. How on earth is there not 157 kinds of bacteria breeding there constantly? Give me a non-organic scrubbie that will dry fast and can be tossed in the dishwasher or washing machine, please!
soooo happy to hear a skincare enthusiast talking about not liking glossier. i could not understand what the hype was about!!
morgan thank you for this!! people on youtube are so scared to share their honest opinions and its so hard to trust influencers, so i rlly appreciate ur transparency :)

The rice water cleansing rich oil from the Face Shop is HEAVENLY, purchased it twice and going for a third time
gosh i feel the same way about glossier - it is so overhyped and the products are all meh. really really basic products and not good at all.
i miss the "good morgan everyonneee!!" D:::
Me toooo I just say it to Morgan now on my own lol
same! i keep waiting for it :(
Me too!!! Bring back The good morgan!!
And the "wut" random sound clips

Love the makeup -- eyeshadow and lipstick with matching undertones and the contrast of hot peach-pink with the heavy lash is great.
Can you do a makeup tutorial on your look? Looks so BOMB!

Huxley worked well on me. Their cleanser is super gentle. So is their toner.
The faceshop cleansing oil stung my eyes so bad when I used it 😭 and the fragrance is just the cherry on top lol
Really? :O
I use it since 3 three years and rebought it several times because it feels so soft and mild on my eyes compare to all other cleansing oils i have tried our for years😅😅i am seriously shook

Stings my eyes too, so sad because it’s so effective at removing makeup

Is it the aztec one?
@@noone8130 No, its the sky organics 100% bentonite clay, but I imagine the Aztec one is very similar
@@jk7648 just that the aztec one works

This look is so gorgeous!

Omg thank you for this video. I bought the same hydrogel patches as you and was so disappointed ☹️ Mine barely had any essence in it too
I've only tried the Rice Water Bright foam cleanser, but I loved the smell lol.
Surprised to hear Glossier skincare products aren't good!
I love Huxley, every single product of them , it all works for my skin and body.
"Morgan thee Pony" ahahahah i was not expecting that
I REALLY LOVE YOUR MAKE UP!!!!
The benefit angled eye liner, I tried so hard to like it and it was just so counter intuitive to use! Waste of money for me.
The huxley scrub gives my face breakout like i have never been and eczema.. omg i dun even dare to use huxley stuffs now. The scrub was my first, and last
Oh! The eyeshadows! What are you wearing? It’s beautiful!
I love your eye makeup so much!

I actually love the face shop rice face cleanser but haven’t tried the rest of that line.
Me too the only product i tried from that line
LOVE the rice water bright face cleanser. Don't know why, but it totally agrees with me.
It’s average, it runs out pretty quick. Other cleansers are so much better
Me too
Me too! And i tried all of them! Also especially love the Mango one :)
I wanted to try Huxley for a while, will hold off now. Too bad on the eye patches - I've ordered these a couple of days ago :(
I used to want to try huxley SO BAD but thank god i tried the tester first. Most huxley products are tooooooo fragrant it’s crazy
milky cleanser is my ride or die hahaha 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😂😂✨✨✨ all glossier makes is all I wear but their skincare like serums and stuff are not worth it for sure ✌🏻⚡️⚡️⚡️
Love milky cleanser too lol and the balm dotcoms and futuredew, but I don't think the rest would be worth it!
i loved the hada labo oil cleanser, although i prefer thicker oil cleansers
i have the regular colostay eyeliner pen and its also all dried up after three months. I prefer their liquid version even tho the brush is quite large
But what do you have on your eyes?? I love a good pink-orange eyeshadow combo!! 😍
Try the DHC deep cleansing oil! It’s lovely ✨
The muji one is also very good I heard and for a low budget one, surprisingly the Biore one does a good job.
Shell hate it because that one is even thicker than the Hada Labo ( which is a perfectly good product actually 🤣), and it's less effective than the hada labo too

WAP = WEAKASS PEN LINER.
I loved the sass in this video HAHA. And agreed Huxley does nothing for me, really wanted to love it but no.
