Mechanic cutting and loosening of wrapped round bales, making the farmer’s daily work more easy and safe. Balestrip includes three standard bale tines, two lower and one upper. A hydraulically operated arm above the upper tine is normally in raised position and is operated by means of the hydraulics.
Operating
The moveable arms are moved to inner position. The upper tine is aimed at the very top portion of the bale. Lift and move the bale to the stationary knife for cutting. Move on to the site where the bale is to be split and distributed. When the bale splitting starts by moving the lower arms outward, the hydraulically operated arm is automatically lowered to the upper tine, thereby gripping the plastic and the net. Releasing the plastic and the net is done by moving the lower arms inwards, thereby causing the upper arm to be raised and allowing the wrapping material to drop off.
Combined use
Balestrip can even be used as a regular hydraulic bale handler with roller tines. The changeover is done in a few minutes by pushing roller tines onto the two lower tines and securing them with a screw. The knife between the tines is tilted and locked. The upper tine is dismantled, and the upper arm is raised to an upright position and locked. Now the Balestrip can be used for regular round bale transport.
