Tytocare is a device and telehealth platform that remotely captures and records comprehensive exam data, anytime, anywhere. Michael is woken up with dizziness, a cough and a fever. His mother Caroline starts a Tyto exam. First she takes the image of his throat, using the Tytocare tongue depressor. Next, she records Michael's lung sounds, using the stethoscope. Now, she records video of his eardrums using the otoscope. Tyto helps Michael's mom guide the device gently into his ear canal, and lets her know when the eardrum image has been captured. Using her smartphone, mom sends the recordings to her pediatrician along with a note explaining her concerns for a diagnosis. Alternatively, she can request a live examination with the physician. Dr. Johnson is on call and begins the consult. The doctor can see, and talk with Caroline and Michael and guide them through the specific tests she'd like to perform. Exam results appear instantly on the doctor's screen, so Dr. Johnson can listen to and see the exam data in real time. In both scenarios, the doctor has Michael's exam data in her EHR for follow up. Having diagnosed an ear infection, she submits Michael's prescription to the pharmacy for pickup. Michael is spared a late night visit to the ER, and his mother had piece of mind that she received the right diagnosis and treatment. All from the comfort of home.
