I cannot believe he drilled a self tapper through the tail light pocket. Corrosion city. Also, expensive to get fixed. This is such a hack installation.

The description box would have been a great place to mention the length of wire needed for both the power and the right turn signal. Also, if you are using your own power wire and fuse link, then why buy the kit when two-thirds of it will not be used?

Fair assessment Javier, but it's included with the converter kit and we try our best to use what's provided as many people do not have spare parts for these kinds of installations.

Don't use a universal kit. Use the Curt T connector kit made for the Pacifica. That way you don't need to splice into the vehicle's factory wiring.

Thank you for the video. I have order this wiring for my Pacifica. But we are living in Germany and use a 7 or 13 pol connector. How can I connect this with the t connector? Thx

Why do you need to connect this positive all the way to the front engine? Didn't get this step

This is to provide power to the harness as LED tail lights do not provide enough power for the lights and the wiring harness together. If you have an unused power source in the rear of the vehicle like a charging port, you can tap the power wire directly into that. However, we recommend not using the power source for anything else if you connect the harness to it. And always make sure to still use the inline fuse if going this route.

The Scotchlock splices are the wrong size for the current wire gage in the Pacifica tail lights. You need to use the red ones, not the blue ones. The blue ones don't reliably connect to the wires.
Also, the route for the power wire is not clear at all, and is very difficult to determine. Listed in the required tools should be ramps or jack stands, or you can't actually pull this off. Too much screen time spent on hands making connections that you can't actually see.

Those splice connectors and the crimps he did were terrible. And the routing of that wire was also terrible. Not professional at all.

Good afternoon - Can you explain what you are seeing that you feel may be a hazard? All of our wiring kits include layers of protection including fuses, heat shrink connections, and industry standard practices. We would love to clear up any concerns.
