My uncle owned Tata Estate in the 90s, we used to sit in boot. Alot space was available in the boot.. really a spacious station wagon it was. 😁😁😘😘❤️❤️

My Nana owns the ambassador sedan version but it's tyres are punctured and he doesn't have enough for the tyre so it is kept in his garage I have rode it and it is very good to drive

I have known all the estates except the Rover. Tata Estate is special as it marked the earliest entry (along with Sierra) of Tata into passenger vehicles segment. The Fiat Weekend was based on Fiat Sienna which was a sedan version of Palio.
Loved your video ,bhai. I remember seeing a premier Padmini station wagon in my childhood. We had a Premier Padmini sedan which my parents bought ( brand new) in 1972 at a princely sum of .....Rs 27000/- . We sold it in 1994 at a profit ! In your list ,I loved the Rover Montego. Great car. I don't understand why Indians don't buy station wagons ,they are ideal for families for medium to long journeys. 🙏🇮🇳

Actually we love cars like Bolero which can become station wagon after folding seats and can become passenger carriers when we have more people.
Didn’t know about Premier Padmini and Ambassador station wagons. I did own Indigo Marina for 6 years. Was waiting for Tata to launch Manza in station wagon but they never did. I am a big fan of this body style and will buy one if a good product comes across.

in 1980-90s there was one car, possibly Nissan Bluebird (though not sure), that came at the time when Hindustan Motors released Contessa models along with Premier Motor's 118ne. This car has rear view glass stretched to cover entire trunk.
