Thank you, Angie. I look forward to exploring the Craftsy videos. Also, completed my first artsy side table while in between jobs. Burlwood look top and middle shelf with black legs. A desk next with same theme. Kept me busy and positive. You inspired me to get started. 😊 Thank you for sharing your time and all your wonderful videos. Excited to see the Bunny Beds. 🤗
Another amazing video. Thank you 🙏🏻
There is plenty of drama in this transformation! It is so lovely to see these tables refreshed for new use.
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Another beautiful transformation! I love the finish, no yellow in sight. They are elegant and I definitely can them in a beach house. It was wonderful to see the encouragement to those who are beginning their journey. You gave wonderful advise and showed where and how they can find more information. Great job Angie!!
Thanks so much! 😊
The combination of the neutral-toned wood and the light legs is charming. A beautiful upgrade for these unremarkable tables ... and a helpful how-to video as well.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it Susan!
Pine can certainly be a pain but the after was worth it. Super cute flip. I especially love that paper in the drawers! I'm a sucker for paisley. 😊
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Angie you did it again. The colors are great. No matter large or small, I love that your always teaching. I am disabled and can't do much moving. Thats why I love watching your video. You teach as you go, clean the project and finish it off by sprucing up the drawers. Something funny, I was coming home with my husband and I saw a small round dinning table. I told my husband stop the truck, I can refinish that! He busted out laughing and said Honey if you were in your 30's and watching Angie. I would be afraid that you would be doing that! Lol
P.S. I saw a girl refinishing on the Ugly duckling. She was using a lot of your keywords. But I have watched a few other refurbishers and there project does not come close to your work. I don't like sprayers. If I could do it,, it would be hands on. I like how you instruct how to hand paint, sand and build new sliders. Keep doing you. I could praise you all day. Your humble, sweet and have a great voice to listen too. 🤩
Thank you so much for this incredible comment Jean! I'm so glad you enjoy all my content. ❤️
I just love all your transformations. There is a world of difference in a furniture flip when you know about colours. And you being an artist shows. I appreciate that so much 😊
I'm so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
From walk by without even a thought to a full stop to admire the beautiful transformation. Thanks for sharing your tips/explanations of how to do. ❤
You're very welcome! ☺️
Thank you for showing the CA glue! I have a few wood pieces that this would work perfectly! I always learn something new with every single video.
Thank you Angie!❤
You are so welcome! 😁
Thank you for my new Craftsy membership!!
You're welcome! Enjoy it!! 😀
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery I really enjoy your videos, and have for some time. I find them so informative and digestible, as a novice. I'm hoping to start a dresser refinishing project of my own soon! I also find your presentation calming and pleasant.
Thank you for what you do for the bunnies! If you ever made a separate channel about all things bunny (etc) rescue/fun, I'd definitely subscribe to that too!
There is realy not much to day except you did a wonderful job again. I enjoyed the beautiful Fawns. You are so very lucky to have them in your yard.
We really enjoy being able to watch them grow up! Thank you! 😊
Wonderful Job👏👏👏👏👏. Love the brass knobs.

Wow! Thank you!
Excellent job, Angie! Really appreciate all your knowledge and your kindness. Much love and happiness to the Gang at home!
Thank you kindly! 😊
I think everything you do is amazing and every reveal is exciting! Just to see the care and respect you have for every piece you handle - it's very inspiring! You have the heart of a true artist!!
Oh wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate that! 😊
Wonderful! I am not completely sure about the eucalyptus for the legs for some reason, but I love the new Fusion stain and oil! You always give me so many good tips, thank you!!! ❤😊❤
You're welcome!
Good job, Angie. You are both an excellent craftsperson AND a fantastic teacher.
Thank you very much!! 😁
The tables are very pretty now! They look totally different! I like your color choices and the pretty drawer liner!
Thank you so much! 😊
Yeah. Good. The one thing that was particularly good about this set of tables is there was hardly any need for repairs except for the split wood on the top. That teaches that it's really important to choose what you want to refurbish very carefully. I just bought a tiny Eastlake side table, and I didn't look it over carefully enough. Every join in the top the glue has failed. The entire piece is shaky and wobbly. It's going to mean a LOT of gluing and waiting which will cost me valuable time. Anyhoo, very nice little set of tables. Thanks for this one. I learned a bit about paint. I always learn from you.
Great transformation! These side tables would look great in a cottage or beachy house! Love your work!
Thanks so much! 😊
I love the way you show a visual shot of the products at the end; it's
makes so much more of an impression in my mind and easier than reading the products (although that's helpful too).
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Here is a tip. Use a suction cup to force glue into an area you normally can’t get to. You can get the suction cups in a range of sizes.
I loved this video. I liked the tutorial. I especially like the bunny and cat beds ideas.
Thank you for the suggestion. I actually have about a dozen methods and different tools I employ for getting glue into tight spaces. This is just the one I chose for this particular situation.
They came out great! Glad to see you do a little bit of paining!
Thanks so much for watching!
You’ve really empowered me to fix up some old pieces I’ve had for a long time and some pieces I recently bought on Marketplace to furnish my new home. I bought one jar of fusion mineral paint based on your videos and totally refinished a bookcase, a desk chair, and a treadle sewing machine cabinet (which was well beyond repair according to an antique dealer). Thanks for helping me understanding my options and make my home beautiful. ❤️
I really loved reading this comment. ❤️ I'm so glad I could help!!
Wow! Very pretty! Someone’s gonna love those for their beach house! I really enjoy watching your videos! Great work as always! 😊
Many thanks! 😊
Thank you for the information and how you got started! I really enjoy watching your videos and seeing how you work with the furniture and what pieces you pick up.
You're most welcome! 😊
So pretty! I agree with you about pine...that yellow can really sabotage whatever you are doing.
It really can!
Thank you for sharing your work with us. I am always amazed at the end product. I wish I could apprentice with you, but I am seventy-one years old and I live at the southernmost tip of Texas. Liz

Makes such a difference , beautiful ! PS l can imagine you tucking the bunnies in their beds at night ! ❤🦘
Thank you Julie! 😀
You did a great job! I picked up this exact set for super cheap on kijiji for my first place. They are decent side tables, but I made mine over too.
That's awesome!
Way to update! Great instruction today! I always learn so much from you. Thank you Angie❤️🌞😎 Susie

This is beautiful work, I don't 'see' the dated style any longer!

Pine is about the only wood I can identify... maybe a tutorial on wood ID would help, suggestions?

Thank you so much! 😊
Lovely job, much more expensive look. 😊
Thank you! 😊
I would have liked to see the drawer front painted the green. To me, it would tie the top to the legs. The way it is now seems that the top is from one piece and the legs are from another.
Thanks for watching!
They are so gorgeous!
Thank you very much! 😊
Beautiful!
Thanks!
Love them
Thank you! 😊
BUTTERFINGERS !!!! 16:31
lol totally
Filling? Can bunnies eat cotton? The quilt idea 4 a bunny is intriguing :) Ciao
No, they cannot "eat" it. But I will only use materials that are non toxic etc because bunnies do chew.
Beautiful
Thank you! 😊
Great work as usual.
Thank you very much! 😊
Thank you so much for the tutorial.
You're most welcome!
Amazing job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow!!!
Thank you! 😊
Very nice.
Thank you so much! 😊
Very cute! Having done both the paint wash and this oil stain for a similar finish, wondering if you would say that the oil finish was a lot easier to do than the paint wash???? looks so on camera, but wondering what you think. Thanks so much.
Much easier, in the sense that you have a bit more working time, especially on the larger areas. With the paint wash, for newbies it can be tricky to get the paint on and off without streaks because it dries a lot faster.
@@TranscendFurnitureGalleryThis was my question also! Thank you for teaching us and responding to this question!
Hi Angie, I use fusion stain & finishing oil as well but I always put a clear wax over it for extra protection as I always question how it will stand up to everyday use. Do I need to do that? Also. I have their natural one and recently at the store that sells fusion, the ladies there told me I could mix natural with my cappuccino stain to lighten cappuccino. I thought that was a good idea. Love todays video as usual. ❤️. Kim in Niagara 🇨🇦
Extra coverage over top never hurts!
How’s the book? Field guide to Lucid Dreaming? Also I like the content video as usual. You’ve done a great job explaining everything and refinishing these side tables. I just bought our first home and the previous owners used pine to trim out the built in garage room and now I can see the knots seeping through the white trim paint.
The book is great! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Thank you for the referral
You're welcome!
I REALLY appreciate your videos with no sound when scraping and sanding, totally understand the use of head gear, the sound is horrible 😖
It really is!
7:37 so I'm curious if you are able to polish the wood… I know the wood wasn't your question but if you're able to polish the wood with things like these wax and I'm assuming it would have to be 100% these wax but is that safe for bunnies?
Pure beeswax would be safe :-)
you need to BE an instructor on Craftsy!
Haha - unfortunately I wouldn't begin to have the time required for that!
❤
👍👍👍💕🌻
❤🙌🏼🇸🇪
Oh, Angie!! The only thing bigger than your talent, is your heart. Thank you for all of your beautiful work. Thank you for your willingness to share and teach. You aaaaalmost have me convinced that I can move my 69 -year-old arthritic body to attempt this type of work. For now, at least, I will happily have to live vicariously through you!! All the best to you, always!!!
You're so welcome!! 😊
Me too!
A beautiful remake yet again!
You could try a small piece to start, just saying…
I'll never have your talent but I've refinished a couple of small pieces from charity shops for my daughter. I've only painted white but I follow your tip to finish the bottoms too. I can only hand sand.I had glass tops cut by a local company and they turned out fab. You are my favourite of all the furniture refinishers I follow. Even my extremely modest pieces give me great pleasure thinking I've given something really beat up a new lease of life. Thank you Angie xx PS I could give you sewing tips, I've been doing that for 50 years!!!
This proves that even simple pine tables can look fabulous. What an excellent difference!
Thank you very much! 😊
Really good beginner video! Thanks Angie for all your content. Love em all! ❤
@@kelleyhawk6595LOL 😅😅😅
Your teacher must have had a tough time not damaging your "sewl/soul." You must have skirted away sew fast as to seam to fade into existence.
Have you sewn since?
I appreciate your time, editing filming and mostly how you are so easy to understand when explaining or teaching. Thank you for this. It was amazing and so informative. ❤️🇺🇸
Glad it was helpful!
Oh, you've made a beautiful transformation! These side tables look fresh and elegant. I absolutely love the finish. The craftsmanship and attention to detail really shine through.
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery The side tables were treated like junk, as often happens with mass-produced furniture. When you transform these pieces by applying your skills and love, I believe everyone will treat them with the care they deserve. Thank you for sharing your work and demonstrating that even cheaper wood can become valuable through your expertise and dedication.
They turned out super-cute! They're simple tables, but they're pretty, useful, and within the reach of most people. To me, that's the Goldilocks zone.
Thank you! 😊
Very nice transformation. I do miss Mr. DeWalt and his smiling face. ❤😊
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
It was so kind of you to make this video. As usual, you have done a beautiful job!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Thankyou for being you! I love that you teach, I’ve learned so much. Excited to see results of the new fusion sfo colour! Beautiful result.
I'm so glad!
They became so cute. I love it you use a paint and a natural looking woodcolour mix. I like it I can recognize myself in your work, something I can do. I cannot do antique restoration, and that is fine. One of the things I appreciate about your channel is the down to earth tone.
I'm so glad you're enjoying my content. Thank you so much for watching! 😁
Spoiler alert
So pretty Angie 😊 I really enjoy the fact that you do beginner & experienced redos. Thank you. 🙏🎨🎨🇺🇸😊❤Pamela NJ
My pleasure Pamela!
I watch you work your magic on every video. Since I recently found you I have many to watch 😊
My suburb yard bunnies are becoming more trusting and hopping closer to me. Yay. They’re so cute.
I'm so glad you found me!! ❤️
The glow up is sooooooooo good!!! I love the hardware change, too. Thank you SO much for a beginner friendly vid!! Any chance you could do a How To for Beginners series, addressing each aspect of restoration or flipping? Thanks again for sharing your beautiful work and the process with us. Much love to you ❤
Thank you so much for watching! I try to include careful details as I redo every piece I work on. I wouldn't begin to have the time required to do a Beginner Series and honestly it would be impossible to cover everything that could POSSIBLY come up with any given piece between types of wood, types of finish, damages etc.
@@TranscendFurnitureGallery that's totally fair & makes sense. Thanks for the response. I actually started seeing some older vids where you kind of do this anyway. Thanks so much for your creativity, your thorough explanations. I love your channel so much. Even though I'm actually kind of scared of rabbits......
Adorable tables! Again, so much fun to watch you take unremarkable pieces and turn them into eye-catching treasures.
I'm so glad you like them! 😊
What a great video to watch after I just finished sanding the drawers to my first post-Angie piece of furniture. Pre-Angie, there were a few salvages ... not so pretty but usable. My new piece just needs some 'moisturizer' to make them smell fantastic.
We are 3 weeks into our bunny adventure. So adorable.
Sounds great! Thanks for watching!! 😀
As usual I didn't expect that those awful tables would turn out remotely OK. I belive it's the artistic side you have that makes your restorations unique. Anyone can sand or fill, it's the understanding of colour that's essential to make things look great! You certainly have a way with colour!
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
You never disappoint, Angie! As I bake in 117°F temps, the beachy coolness of these sidetables almost transported me. They're so much prettier like this. ❤ the bunnies, and the little fawns cavorting in your yard!
Yuck!! That is HOT. We've had a couple of strings of incredible hot weather here too with humidity so thick it makes breathing difficult. I hope you're staying cool!!
Lovely! I appreciate your variety of videos! Some I am awed by the transformations / rebirth of a piece and others I feel - gee, I could do that! Thanks Angie!
You are so welcome! 😊
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤ You share your knowledge, talent, patience, kindness (with all species), imagination, and experience with all of us freely and honestly. I love all the little screen notes you send us; the clips of fawns, bunnies, cats; your design aesthetic; and the timbre of your voice. Thanks so much for being a UA-cam creator so that we can spend time with you as you do what you love.

Wow!! Thank you so much for this great comment, I really appreciate it! ❤️
Zinsser BIN primer is the only one I am using nowadays. After trying so many different products, it is the only one that actually gets the job done. Yes, it's a bit on the expensive side and yes, it stinks like a rotting Durian, but it does everything that it promises on the package.
This is so funny. We just picked up this kind of table to use for a printer 😂. What you did to these is so pretty. I never even thought of changing the knob on the drawer. The last time I refinished anything, the only real product around was formbys. I’m so happy to see new products and so many different color choices. Your channel is very inspirational 😊
Thank you very much!! 😊
I like watching whatever you do and frankly find the variety refreshing! Thanks for sharing
You're so welcome!
So nice to see attention to all details including bottom of table and insides of drawers. For your sewing, you can use 100% cotton thread to be bunny safe. If the bunnies tend to chew openings, adding a second row of stitching will make it a bit harder for the bunnies to eat thru the seams. Good luck with sewing journey- you’ll rock it just like you rock all your projects!!❤
Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely be using all cotton everything, just to be on the safe side. :-)
These came out awesome. I like that you didn't have a shiny finish on them. My mom grabs a can of Pledge to make all her furniture shiny. Ugh!
Yeah, there's a time and place for a gloss finish, but something like this I prefer a matte one. :-)
I like them! You’re the person who taught me to use shellac so I wouldn’t have any bleed through. I definitely watch your channel to learn new techniques. Thank you!!
You're welcome! ☺️
Angie, thanks for the tutorial. I was especially interested in the new Fusion products. Thanks so much for sharing.
You're very welcome!
