my recommendation is to keep it aside, and in a future episode you commit the whole episode to trying to find the budget to buy it off yourself, and if you fail, you have to sell it and all profit from that episode can go to another project or another episode that way you still take a swing at getting the game in a gamecube gambit episode, but you can still count the profit from selling it in this episode because you bought it off yourself at the expected price
@@krossboe8512 thats what im saying, if he buys it off himself at the price he expected to sell the disc ($650 if i remember correctly) then he'll still have earned that profit
Caleb, I’m so invested into your channel and series that I started to resell and collect. I started my n64 and GameCube collection the end of January and have 4 Nintendo 64’s and 3 GameCubes lol. I have about 20 games for the GameCube and 15 for the 64. I’ve made more money flipping than I’ve spent. Thank you for the mentorship through your videos. I will eventually start amazon after I get more comfortable with eBay! Keep grinding
You gotta flip that Pokémon game, the profit alone will buy you some high end games. But the chase is also so much fun to watch to find a complete copy!
I love how honest you are! You easily could’ve edited this video/told the story to look like Game Exchange came last in the day and you had enough money to buy BOX! Either way I’m glad you found it
I remember seeing that Pokémon Box in another video a while back and was surprised you didn’t grab it. But slow and steady won the race cuz not only was it marked down but you got a discount on top! Greatness happens to those who are patient I guess!
Yeah, I remember it too and when he showed his list a few episodes later and I saw that it wasn’t checked off, I got confused bc I thought he bought it lol
I would definitely sell Pomemon Box for now, you will be much more satisfied finding it complete, and once you knock out these other games on your list, it wont take much for you to get that amount together. Glad to see Box go, I had been tempted to buy it in the past lol.
I remember a few years ago, the game store inside of the Fayette Mall had a complete Pokemon Box for like $350, looking back, i should have bought it, and flipped it now for $1500 lol
Congratulations On Finding Pokemon Box!! My Suggestion Is That You Put It Aside! Now, in terms of the Scooby-Doo game that could have been added, I would have suggested Night Of A 100 Frights because of how popular it was. Not that Unmasked and Mystery Mayhem are bad (Which they are so much fun), but Night Of 100 Frights would make ANY collection look fun! Now, you do NOT have to take these recommendations for the GameCube Collection, but I feel that these would be great to add: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 Dragon Ball Z: Sagas Ed, Edd, N' Eddy: The Mis Ed-Ventures A Naruto Game (Any Game) Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem Scooby-Doo: Night Of 100 Frights But once again dude, fantastic video, and congratulations on ALL the latest pickups AND Pokemon Box! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for making my day once again with your awesome videos man. I still reflect on the first video I saw of yours which oddly took place in one of my local pawn shops in TN. I honestly have been hooked ever since. Man you and Retro Rick (whom you also made me aware of) have help helped me in some of my toughest times and even tho I am still in a struggle right now it makes it all worth it to get on here and enjoy your great content. Keep it up buddy!!! High hopes that you keep prospering in all that you love!!!
You've really inspired me. I have been wanting to do this for several years, and I think I might bite the bullet and jump in. Grats on Pokemon; that's insane!
The price difference between pal and ntsc stuff is crazy, as a comparison the pal copy of Pokémon box disc is $70 aud , however something like Pokémon xd gale of darkness complete is worth over $400 aud which I think is a fair bit more than the ntsc version
I'm just starting to realize how valuable my GameCube collection is. I've got burnout, kirby air ride, Mario party 7, Lego star wars, Smash bro's melee, need for speed carbon just to name a few. I had no idea they were worth so much. they are just games I bought when I was a kid... crazy.
Burnout and NFS are both incredible franchises especially back in the day. I played tons of Burnout 2 and NFS Underground on the Gamecube which i strongly recommend for everyone who enjoys classic arcade racing. I also think that the graphics of Burnout 2 are incredible on the Gamecube and the handling of the cars are very nice and feel natural.
Good job! 11 GameCube Games for a decent price. Keep up the good work and can not wait till I see you finish your list. Love this challenge you are doing.
9:10 back in the day and being a kid and having that one sibling or family member in your family that rarely ever plays (almost never video games) but has one game and only got that one game on your system we all remember having that one obviously not yours game in your collection that that belong to a family member of yours that was super embarrassing to see your collection nostalgia
Can someone explain, why Pokemon Box is currently at around 80-120€ on ebay in Germany? Is that a different version? Or have the prices just heavily dropped in the last two years?
Editor Riff: small tip. When ever Caleb tosses games for dramatic effect @0:28. Please edit out the sound of them hitting the floor. Small details like that can make a video's quality seem that much better
Well you’re a lot closer than I realized- not one of those people who obsess over online personalities but could you imagine going to buy some games and seeing this guy there!
Burn Out is the best. I remember buying that game at Toys R Us back in the day. I had never heard of it before, but the crashes looked insane. I still remember on the back of the box it said "Hyperventilating is part of the fun!"
This is a really creative and fun to watch challenge. Been hooked on these videos all day, especially since I collect Gamecube games as well. Definitely subbed to follow along
Dude. I heard you say Kentucky, look at your background, and you’re literally in my city. Gosh, I wish I knew that Pokémon box was there!!!!!! Congrats man!!
Killing itttt! Crazy find, cant believe you didnt use all of the budget from that and still had enough to get every one you wanted and needed for the gambit!!🤟
I appreciate you sticking to your rules about the GameCube gambit, of course it may be awhile or it could be next week to find another Pokémon box, either way it’s nice that you aren’t bending the rules for it. Keeping it authentic
In the UK you can get pokemon box for around £30 disc only and about £100 for complete why is the US so expensive ps digimon rumble arena 2 should be on the list it was a very good game
Awwww... the offer is US Only! Nice video and good job on your shopping. Like how you share afterwards when you finish shopping at each store. No GAMECUBE SYSTEM :( it's hard to find one in my area. Not wanting to go on eBay or Amazon or even online would rather buy at a local game shop. Gotta have to wait! I am playing heavy is my new GAME & WATCH ZELDA and I have also been playing ELEVATOR ACTION on the NES. You always go to Chipotle for food; to bad none in my area. From Ontario Canada.... Thanks for your videos! Keep up good work.

This is the 1st video I've seen of yours really enjoyed watching this you have a bunch of really cool small shops around you cool seeing other game stores other than gamestop 👍
I think in the future what would be fair is if you manage to grow your budget enough that you could have bought it with your budget (without adding its own flipping price) by the end of the video you can keep it as your gambit pur have and if not then you have to take the hit and sell it for the gambit budget It would allow you to pick up some harder to find games if you see them early on in your gambit so you don't have to miss out on the more expensive and rare titles without you needing to risk going over on the budget Might also be cool to have videos where you do a gambit focused on saving so you have enough to spend on a bigger game because I know it's gonna be hard to build up enough budget in just one video for some of those games
I only collect complete games, so when I find disc only games I want I flip them to build a budget for games in the condition I want. I would also flip the Pokémon box disc
Hold this video as your trophy my friend.... you managed to get what you want being patient and trusting your gut respecting your rule ❤ so glad I found you in my recommended just a shame I cannot use your content as much as I'm UK market

He Phoenix been here since 3k subs and still love the content. I think you should implement a rule where the budget can carry over to future episodes. Of course try to flip games each video and try to use that expected profit but if you run into games like Pokémon box or other games / you find a lot of titles you need if you had the “backup budget” it would be cool to see you be able to get them. Idk could change it up a little or add more rules to it but I think it would be helpful. Maybe announce the budget at the start / end :) hope you see thus
I can’t believe I used to have most of the games on my GameCube and I just sold 10 years ago like nothing. Not knowing they will cost this much 10 years later haha

It would allow you to pick up some harder to find games if you see them early on in your gambit so you don't have to miss out on the more expensive and rare titles without you needing to risk going over on the budget
