Thank You Thank You! My cake lady had to cancel due to illness and this was one of the items she was going to make.. Well know I feel empowered to make them myself. It's for my daughter's graduation celebration from Nursing School so I will be making thermometer's thanks so much!!! You make it look easy 🤗🤗🤗
Hi there so Walmart sells these pretzels for about $5.24 per container, so that's roughly $10.50; candy melts at $2.47/bag, so 4 bags $10.00 bucks; parchment paper $1.00 and the coconut oil for about $5.00/container. So for about $26.00 you made 48 pretzel rods......YOU DID AN EXCELLENT JOB........what would you sell them each for
Thank you so much my son birthday party is in 2days and I been trying to figure out an easy quick way to do everything I’m doing alot of DIY snacks and decor with 1day to get everything done since my work schedule doesn’t give me much time to do much of anything unfortunately but your video was the most helpful I’ve found so far 🙂
I was going to ask the same thing, I have my little girls birthday party in about two weeks and I want to make these at least one or two days ahead of time because I’m also making cake pops(cake pops you can make two weeks ahead of time) and I don’t like doing everything last minute. I hope I get an alert when this question gets answered LOL.
im just now starting my sweet treats business! and im wanting to start doing pretzels as well, but i dont know how to price these by dozen and 1/2 dozen or just single, how much are you changing if you dont mind me asking🥺💓
I dont use the microwave to melt the chocolate I feel the best way is the stove I fill a pot with water and another smaller pot with the chocolate put the chocolate pot into the water pot while boiling that way the chocolate stays hot longer
Sorry for late response yes normally I sell them by the dozen as well I usually charge $18 a dozen I hope that helps!! 😃 thank you for watching 🙏🏼 good luck!!👍🏼
Hello, another alternative for coconut oil is maybe vegetable shortening or melted butter this will also help thin out the chocolate. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
Hello. Yes I usually make them a day before for the event but I also have had times Where I left them in the fridge for 2 to 3 days. As long as it is in a cool place where the chocolate will not melt the pretzels will be ok. Hope that answers your question. Thank you for watching
You lost me when you put the fork ON TOP of your candy wrapper @2:12 -If you wanted to do that at least turn the bag inside out. Do you have any idea how many ppl touched the bag before you did?? -Me either... Also, gloves are a good idea while you're handling food. I'm sure you washed your hands but you touched the microwave, the dipping cup, the wrappers.. Just saying.. 😳 This is an example of why we're still in a pandemic... 😳🤦🏻♀️
@gigi if you truly think that's why we are in a pandemic then you are as stupid as your typing. Because we would have been in a pandemic long before you were born. Go make your own far and grow produce all your foods you want. Because all the grocery retail workers and restaurant staff is why you can do what you do on the regular. Please watch the videos and 🤫🤫🤫

Great idea on the wine glass, my chocolates always get cold! thank you so much!
Thank you! My engagement party is coming up and this was very helpful
Love that you’re microwaving vs using the fondu melting pot. It takes forever.
Thank you! I will try this by myself for the first time. Usually my sister is the talented one. I'm pretty bad. You made it look easy.

Wow, you’re a mean lean dipped pretzel machine! Good job!
I use almond bark. I buy the chocolate and the white. The white you can put food coloring in it.
Great video
Thank you so much for this! I’m planing a birthday party for my son and this was beyond helpful. You simplified it and made it easy!

Fantastic video!

Hi, thank you. You helped a lot, but doesn’t the other side of pretzel get messed up drying ?
Thank you for this! Can these be frozen to use at a later time - like for a couple of weeks?
thank you. those look amazing
Need to cover more of the pretzel 😊
Hi, how many pretzels can be covered with two bags?? Thanks!
I love your method the best! ❤
Omg it was that easy I'm going to make these myself for my own babyshower how long does it take for them to dry
How do I keep them from becoming stale? I need to make them Saturday morning, but the party is not until Sunday evening.
Refrigerate
Does using coconut oil change the flavor?
The coconut oil helps the chocolate stay melted longer if you didn't put coconut oil the chocolate would harden faster
@@starkurosu2179 Use canola oil
Will these be good made the night before?? And places in the fridge over night for a party the next day
Can I also put the coconut oil the chocolate for covered strawberries or a breakable heart ? I’m New to the crafting 😩
Hello! Yes coconut oil will make the consistency of the chocolate more runny. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching. 🙏🏼❤️
Omg you are totally awesome
How long do we wait for them to dry!
Seems pretty easy and a nice added treat to a pRty
How early can you make these before an event?
So they dont go bad or get hard?
did you get your answer???
Im looking for the same answer

You can make these 2 weeks in advance and save them in a air tight container.
@@lucypatrickios6199 what about if i have individual wrappers for them? A week ahead is okay?
Thanks for this!
Is it okay if I do them one day before the party day ? Will they get bad leaving them over night ?
Can you do this with Hersheys Kisses also? I want to do this with the Candy Cane Kisses.

How long will they keep after they are dipped and dried?
Hello, I love this technique and will be trying it. Where did you get the candy to melt?
You can try any cake supplies store or maybe even Walmart has them 😁
Party city too
Is this a normal size ? Or do people usually buy smaller for some partys?
I dont use the microwave to melt the chocolate I feel the best way is the stove I fill a pot with water and another smaller pot with the chocolate put the chocolate pot into the water pot while boiling that way the chocolate stays hot longer
Can you taste the coconut oil?
Yes
How much do you sell them for by the dozen? I’m trying to figure out a price since it’ll be my first time selling them lol
Sorry for late response yes normally I sell them by the dozen as well I usually charge $18 a dozen I hope that helps!! 😃 thank you for watching 🙏🏼 good luck!!👍🏼
Pretzels salts?
About roughly how long did these take you to make?
Is there anything else I can substitute the coconut with? I am allergic
Hello, another alternative for coconut oil is maybe vegetable shortening or melted butter this will also help thin out the chocolate. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
There is an E Z Thin at Joanns
how many days to expire after made?
Refrigerate them and they'll be good for weeks in a covered plastic container.
How many days before can you make these before a party?
2-3 days
How many days in advance can the be made or like how long do they last
Thats the same thing i want to know if they can be done like a day in advance of the event.

How long does it take to dry?
Not long
I tried adding dye and it curdled 🥺
Water and chocolate do not mix. There are special dyes for this but better to get the right color to begin with if possible.
How to make Mac and cheese!!!!
Cooking instructors should use proper cooking utensils. Table ware, such as forks belong on the table. Step it up.
