everything is better than ever, music-tricks combination, quality of moves, quality of tricks, originality, light simple but awesome, even the simplicity of the costume...wow very inspiring!
When i used to read Spider-Man comics, i frequently saw that agile super hero in similar body positions and thought to myself: certainly no human being can do that stuff. So either i was mistaken or this man IS SPIDERMAN !!!!!
@TeamExploit Yet it doesn't hurt his skill that Ivan himself has gained a fair bit of definition along the way himself :o) The muscles us Circus performers gain are meant for a specific purpose other than to just "look good", haha...
@typhoon535 There are many cases of gymnasts who don't weightlift deadlifting 2x-3x bodyweight on first attempt. I've seen some of that myself. I agree that you get better at something specific by doing it, but the absolute level of overall functional strength built by gymnastic-style exercises is huge. Think of the iron cross...or as an experiment, try doing a planche hold. As far as weightlifters go, bodybuilders aren't "strong" anyway. If you want strong, look at the powerlifters.
It depends what you're talking about things I could survive without training barbell 114 kg. Given that I'm not a gymnast gymnasts on the rings are much stronger.
@typhoon535 I bet you his guy could bench a lot more weight than a bodybuilder of similar size. He could also squat and deadlift more. Bodybuilders train for muscle fatigue and the pump, i.e. muscles pumped up on sarcoplasm. They don't train for strength. The training this guy does develops useful, functional strength through a wide range of motion, but he happens to look good too. Before the age of the mass monsters, many notable bodybuilders practiced some gymnastic exercises e.g. John Grimek
