I’m one of those ladies that hits the “like” button as soon as I see that the video is by Natasha. You never fail to inspire me! Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that your ideas are budget friendly-I can create without having to purchase additional supplies. You’re unique in the crafting world in that respect! Thank you. Beautiful. I’ve tried making backgrounds with gift wrapping ribbons without the embossing, but I never thought of using fabric ribbons. This looks like a fun idea that turns out great.

I tried this yesterday and oh my it’s fabulous!! I sat in front of the TV and took my ribbon box out made a bunch of backgrounds. When I embossed them I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. I shared them with a friend of mine who also makes cards she’s going to try it too. Thank you for always inspiring me.

What a beautiful card! I absolutely love the look of it, and I've never seen this technique! Can you please tell me if you used cloth ribbon (satin?) or paper ribbon please? I have SO MUCH cloth ribbon! This is such an elegant technique! We could use school colors for graduation cards, wedding colors for wedding cards...so many options! Thank you so much!
What a great idea! The purples and pinks would be great for unicorn birthdays and the blue for baby cards, Easter, etc… so many possibilities. Farmhouse, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Rainbows, and so much moreCan’t wait to try!
Lovely idea... folded kitchen towel & material work well also, apparently(some1 elses idea, not mine)... thank you for sharing ... satin ribbon gives it a luxury appearance... another one ive saved future use :)

Thank you so much for this video. I have a box full of ribbon. I can't make bows, have tried several techniques. Can't even make the little knots. Just have major ribbon issues. Finally something I know I can do. I am going to start tomorrow using up my ribbon. Love you channel.

That blue ribbon background would look nice as a backdrop for a snowman Christmas card. Snowman and faded trees against a naturally shimmery background. What do you think?
Did you know that there is a BEAR on your work surface?? I spotted just before you brought back the turquoise panel and took it out of the embossing folder! ( somewhere between 4:26 and 4:29). It’s faint, but I don’t know if I will ever be able to un-see it! There was another very brief view near the end of the video. If you have trouble, try slowing the playback speed. Too funny, and nothing to do with this beautiful card. I may have just changed my plan for my first grandgirl’s birthday card, coming soon. I am off to watch the woven version … think about something like that for my grandboy ( soon to be a grand man😢😉!). I just re-read my last comment…and I had no idea what I was talking about. I edited the word ‘beat’ with what I actually saw, and now it makes sense. But I haven’t noticed it again!

For many years I have crafted a great many different types of activities. Starting in 1996 with cards, then scrapbooking, and quilling, etc. On my way home from work many days I would stop at thrift stores and purchase things that I thought I could use in crafting. Over the years I have accumulated one large room full of crafting items. In particular I have been hoarding a large plastic storage tub filled with ribbon. After watching over a hundred of your videos, I keep running to my stash and pulling out items that you have used and suggested could be used. Today I am glorying in the fact that I have all of that ribbon, and I'm looking forward to when my embossing tool is delivered so that I can emboss some ribbon cards. You are a very talented generous person. I appreciate what you do. I appreciate your personality. Thank you so very much.
Re-watching, because I can’t seem to keep great ideas in my brain! I can never quite get my craft room as neat as I want to because every time I go in there to clean/organize, I see something and get an idea. The downside: I will probably never have a tidy space. But the upside is that when I can’t think of a project, all I have to do is go in there with the intent to clean up! (PS: the other grandgirl has a birthday coming up! She might end up with something like this. Or…. I can do valentines for my immediate family off this idea.) ( I just remembered that I have some deer ribbon from an old card kit… it will be perfect for the grandboy who shot two deers last fall! His first!).
Beautiful card - I have two boxes full of ribbons - you have given me an absolutely great way to use some of the ribbons up.. I also have velvet ribbons would the embossing show up on velvet ribbons?
The way you finished out the card was perfect! It covered enough of the blue ribbon that it was no longer overwhelming and it was just perfect! I loved this!!

Love ideas on using embossing folders. Never thought of ribbon. Have a bunch of ribbon, but not double stick cards. So have to think how else to try it. It is pretty, and detail is great. Thanks for sharing

I saw someone who did a similar thing with washi tape and just wrapped the edges around to the back and secured them with tape. This way you wouldn’t have to worry about ragged edges. Just a thought 😊. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing ideas!
