She grew so much throughout the show ‘cause she wouldn’t just do stuff like this in season 1. I remember her doing it occasionally throughout the seasons and then she got to a point where she grew out of it. Couldn’t stand her in season one and she had moments throughout where I’m like ‘girl, for real,’ but by the end of the series, she grew to be one of my favorites. I can’t speak for everyone but I think she has some of the best character development, not just in the tvdu but some of the best I’ve ever seen and she grew to be one of the most likable characters.
Unfortunately most of the tvdu fandom hates Caroline for being “nosy” I personally loved her and don’t understand how others can’t but I still respect there opinions

I'm not get into Caroline's issues but she's out of control.
The thing with Caroline and Damon is that she was 16 and compelled. Like, this isn’t good, it’s not even forgivable . He used compulsion to get a 16 year old to sleep with him. For everyone saying that Caroline telling Stefan about Damon and Elena wasn’t her “secret” to tell I agree 100% but at the same time it’s not like Damon and Elena were going to straight up tell him without him finding out from someone else first. I mean c’mon he was bound to hear from somebody else before his own brother told him
Eyy don't justify it. How is Stephan suppose to know this Only Bonnie and Caroline knew about this. It was none of Caroline's business. Elena told her she needs to figure out things before she tells Stephan and it was not Elena's intention to not tell Stephan. She straight up went to him and told him she kissed Damon. All she asked Caroline was not to mention it to Stephan until she talks to him. And don't bring this Stephan was Caroline's friend she was being a good friend and all. If she wanted to tell she should have denied when Elena asked her to keep it a secret. Promising her and then going behind her was such a cheap move.

4:39 watching and hearing Elena tell Caroline to her face what made her jump in bed with Damon is insane to me considering she saw firsthand the aftermath of Caroline's body. That is so tasteless and just so cruel and I hate that the show continues to brush it under the rug. What happend between them was not consensual Caroline was underage, she was compelled, she was sexually abused. She did not give consent and if she did she was compelled to do so. Damon did a lot of heinous shit but doing it's a Caroline while dating her best friend and expecting for her to be okay with it, is insane. Elena acting like Damon didn't rape her best friend, verbally abused her, physically abused her used her as his personal blood bank and for her to do his dirty bidding and then would verbally abuse her calling her derogatory names and would still make her do this it was a toxic cycle that was not a relationship. Another thing Elena telling Caroline and Bonnie that she knows they have issues with Damon but she's happy with him it's crazy to say the least. If she wasn't such a hypocritical character it wouldn't be that big of a deal but then she turns around and shame Caroline for sleeping with Klaus but when she needs Caroline to distract Klaus so she and the rest of the gang can do their heinous activities it's fine because it's convenient for her at that time she wants to always play the card of Klaus did this to her but how many times has Damon tried to kill Jeremy how many times has Damon caused pain to Bonnie her best friend how many times has Damon caused pain to everyone around her but she be making excuses for him and is so hypocritical about Klaus. Honestly I just wish that Caroline and body left and went to New Orleans and traveled the world because Caroline always cared for Bonnie and that showed with her growth and their relationship got stronger I wish they had left and just traveled the world
