Racing more often in a field (instead of time trialing) will give these guys a better chance at running a more strategic race. Having bodies around is far different than a solo run with a pacer or lights. Future is bright.
Hocker is still the great American hope at the mile/1500. I think he may have pushed to 4 or 3 if there had been some light between Cheriout and Kipsang. Maybe not though.
i think he was hoping that cheriout or kipsand would break but they did not and he broke instead and got passed. perhaps next time, as he said, he would make a more definitive choice to go wide and pass rather than hope other would falter
In my opinion it feels like the US is lacking a lot in the 1500 compared to Africa countries that is much smaller then USA like Kenya, South Africa and Ethiopia or even Europe like the UK and Scandinavia what do you think?
@@munnikandy4154 I don't think South Africa compares to the US, or the other nations on your list. I think the UK is stronger. But as for Europe, there are lots of populous nations (Germany and Russia for example) that aren't as good at the 1500 as any nation on this list.
@@scrumpymanjack eh. Never say never. Bro got 6th in the fastest olympic 1500m final in history and it was his first ever international race. Also let’s not forget that the first like 10 times Jakob raced Cheruiyot he was defeated and now it seems as if Jakob has completely surpassed him. Cole just turned 21 a few days ago. Give him a few more years of experience. He’s already a lot closer to them now than you think

Good luck Cole Hocker...
My favorite on 1500m

Cooper should go up to the 5k
Cole is still young, and he has a lot more to give and to accomplish.....he hasn't won his last race, that's for sure.
He'll never win a race with athletes of this calibre, that's for sure.
@@scrumpymanjack We'll see
@@aleixcatalani3953 I’m sure you’re right about that.

Hocker could be more famous than Usain Bolt. He has the charisma. He just needs to win a few races
Do you really think this? Cmon now
Cheriout and the other guy, that’s exactly your position
He needs a haircut
She has lovely hair 😂
