"it's a made up word"
As opposed to words that exist in nature
Whataboutism is a juvenile media term for equal protection under the law which is a well known concept in Anglo-American constitutional law.
The politics of whataboutery is well known here in the North of Ireland. The politicians are masters of it. Love this Channel btw
Why did Trump's podium have the British coat of arms lol
Whataboutism is not, however, showing people to be ideologically inconsistent. For example, pointing out how the U.S. invaded Iraq after they criticize Russia for invading Ukraine and vice versa would go to show that neither have any real principles.
It's whataboutism. The USA's invasions have nothing to do with the conversation. And NO one ever stated that they support one kind of imperialism and hate the other. You just love to suck off Putin
People who do that might as well mention the WW2 German invasion of Russia
anyone who accuses you of whataboutism just wants you to undermine yourself without undermining themselves for the same deed.
Don't drink and post you could get hurt.
Putin actually singed multiple treaties in which he promised he would'nt commit economic coercion on Ukraine or invade them.
Also, Russia actually cooperated with the US during the Irak war... so yeah. 😊
Is it whataboutism to reply that 90% of the plastic in the oceans is from Asia, and that banning plastic bags in the USA will not help?
It depends.
If you say that a policy is not effective you should provide a better alternative.
If you are only deflecting is whataboutism.
Pd: if you care about global policy, you could take as an example the COP28.
Sure, COP28 is not very effective, but now we have another conversation, like how to make an enforcement of the compromises taked in the convention.
What? Explainity explaining pub gibberish now?

Average men in Feminist posts😂
There’s nothing made up about it!
This video also unintentionally shows us what left-wing strawmanning is, I'm impressed.
And how the right use it to divert attention from their own scandals and decisions
Who on the left make strawmen? Give me an example.

This is feminisms core strategy
Yes
textbook example of whataboutism right here. 😂 Oh the irony!
Drivel. Learn what feminism is.
Trump is one of your great presidents and I'm a black guy
