I agree to the fact that 1st SSB is not the ideal division to push through. It is a bit better when early bombers and rockets planes contest ground in phase A along with Centaurs. But it is really difficult to push anyway. Well done by the way.
I think in general it's supposed to be used as a hard hitting Phase A division in close quarters areas then later on turns to supporting the rest of the map.
"Nothing I could do there..." I see you have two mortars back, likely with smoke and there is that nice tree-line in front of you so you can compartmentalize where to push without being harassed from afar. I often forget this possibility as well.
I start off with 2 Centaurs and go ape on as much AT and light vehicles and infantry as I can in phase A, and save the tanks for some push/reinforce in phase B, basically prepping for the carpet bomb phase C. I agree with you the division fizzles out a bit but if you keep pushing, the whole game is a 40 min phase A and full-on action packed.
Is MP still playable??? or do games need to be set up; I tried to get back into SD but the lobbies are ghost towns. Such a shame considering I loved this game!
The 91st player rushing only jagers and mg34s directly into the town across the street from you definitely gave you an upper hand :D
Yeah the start went very well.
I'll take you to church Vulcan. Just as a thank you for more gameplay of this division:^)
I'll take Vulcan to Church's Chicken a.k.a. Texas Chicken instead.
Do love some good chicken!

Smoke is always something I forget and I even have a note on my desk that says "SMOKE!"

On a map where Centaurs do well I can definitely see the division doing a lot better.
Vulcan-Play what you like your videos are better when you are having fun!
I like to fulfill request though occasionally.
AA-Net FTW

Create your own lobby, people will join.
How do you prepare for a match, that you really, really want to win? is there some kind of ritual involved X-P
Make a decent battlegroup and know exactly how I want to use it.
Maybe some updates for the SSB is in order then. I guess more CQC infantry in the later phases?
give em at least 1 AT before phase c
They just fall so flat in Phase B, that's where something needs to be done.
I think u shoulve invested more on ur air power
