LOL, when you said you were about to swim up on an interesting situation I was looking for a gator. Santa Fe looks good, were thinking about that for a Scout trip next year.
FINALLY, a kayaking/ river travel/camping trip that also shows them fishing. THAT IS the only reason I want to paddle in Fl, And I'm a Native, born and raised. Fish On! 🎣👍🥰😊🎣
I remember back in the late 90s when I was a 12 yr old kid when the Santa fe was crystal clear like the springs all through the river. Love that place, especially Rum island b4 everybody found out about it
Man what a cool trip! I have scuba dived Ginnie springs and drift dived the Santa Fe a couple of times. I really like that part of Florida. Great video brother!
Poe springs wasn’t closed. The part you filmed was a service entrance. I love how you guys stealth camped though. That park is usually pretty busy. Very cool video I love it!
What days was this trip? I'd like to look at water levels and flow online in order to compare to previous trips. I've done most of the Santa fe, but have yet to head into the Suwanee. The Santa fe is a pretty river. I'd like to do a similar trip. Looks like you guys had fun.
Thanks! We had a blast! The dates were October 3-7 we had all that rain and the water levels were abnormally high. I would like to have pushed out to the gulf that would have been a cool trip.
I'm going to try to get some videos out soon.. My video editor I used jacked up the price sky high which pissed me off so I didn't renew it and I haven't figured out which one I should go with. That and I bought a Gheenoe and have been running around in it lately.

Mans locked on the cake lol

Good timing lol. I had a time uploading it, it took all day and was still loading when I went to bed. I guess it finally worked. Thanks for watching!
What type of bait were you most successful with and what did you catch?
Pretty
It was a beautiful river. I can't wait to go back when the water level isn't so high.

Thanks! I'm thinking it was spring early summer I'll have to look back and check the dates.
I read on an earlier reply it was the first week of October. I was looking for that answer myself.
I didn't see you guys eating the bass?
I brought fish fry but forgot the dang oil. I'm getting old, next time I better make a better list lol.
Who's property do you camp on?
Why haven't you been posting! Hows the zulu holding up

@@PADDLECAMPFISH damn that sucks man. I'll have my notifications on whenever you start posting again
Hey this is in my neck of the woods.
What’s the deal with camping? Do you just find a nice secluded spot and go for it or do you look for public land only?
On this one we pretty much stealthed camped. The river was up and it wasn't easy to find a spot, so we tucked in where we could.
@@PADDLECAMPFISH this is why I love smaller UA-camrs! Thanks for the reply!
