7:02 I’ve always thought that “stereotypical country colours” come from their military uniforms from the early Modern period. French wore blue uniforms, British were the red coats, Russians wore green, Prussians and later Germans grey, Austrians white and so on.
Frankish monarchy wore blue and when they became french they still wore blue and they continued to do so for a long long time.
mostly its either that or one of the prominent colors of their flag (be it historical or modern flag)

In my history class we were looking at population pyramids and read a paragraph about Bulgarian people either moving to the big cities in Bulgaria or moving out of the country because their are little to no young people in rural areas and I genuinely started to cry a bit about how the older people in the rural areas trying to get more people to move there and have children and that they had to start closing down businesses because of few sales.
Shell is not a British company, it's Dutch, they just moved to the UK for tax purposes

The british red comes from the redcoats, while I think French blue comes from the (heavily "inspired" by the Dutch flag) French tricolor. Red was taken, and white was the color of the old aristocracy, therefore France is blue.

In every Polish history book Poland is Pink, Red or Orange (In this order in terms of rarity).
Historically Poland was representend by red and white eagle, pink always been fusion of our symbols colours. Idk from where we take Orange, it represent Lithuania often alongside with Green.

Blue is a rare color since it it rarly occurs naturally that isnt the literal atmosphere (oceans, skys, mountains ranges) so having blue flowers abd rocks was pretty valued for a long time.

In theory they could pick their own colors but it became a tradition. So every german car was silver, while every british car was green, further all of france were blue and italian cars were red. Thats why every Ferrari is red despite the fact that the company-color beeing actually yellow.

Interesting to note that after the end of 21st century India is expected to have a population of around 1 Billion, China will fall to 750 Million (That's such a massive fall) but watch out for Africa.
