Instead of using 3 diamonds to repair the shovel, it's better to make a new shovel (which costs 1 diamond) and combine it with the old one to create a new shovel.

You're very chill and fun, and it was a pleasure to sort books out while watching you build and listening to you talk about soup, Ruth, and wonky windmills. I started watching your channel in the summer and I love how you do builds and I really enjoy these full base builds. I have learned a lot from you and would love to see a winter build! Spruce forests are my favorite!
I would love to know how you get the addons to work--like the better leaves, the mods and things because I use Curse to get them and none of them will show up even when I've downloaded.

Hey drift! I really love your videos and i also love the shaders. Ive been trying to find that complementary shader for so long now but I cant find it, the only shader I find is the remaigned and unbound ones. Could you tell me where you get that complementary shader?
Reimagined and unbound *are* the complementary shaders. Reimagined stays more true to the original mc look while unbound is more realistic. They're both the complementary shader, just two different versions depending on what you want. The euphoria patches mod adds some great optional settings for it too.
I just found your channel, and i actually love your videos so much so far. These longplays are so nice to have in the background while i do work, or play along side you!

Love the windmill! One way to add some light to your wheat field is to put jack-o-lanterns underneath the water source. I like to dig a two block hole, put in a jack-o-lantern and then cover that with water and then add a trap door or leaves. Jack-o-lanterns are my go to light block for hiding light. They are pretty cheap and easy to get early game.
