So glad I found this tutorial. I have nerve damage on the top of my feet , so I needed to know how to put something on my shoe for a back strap. 😅 thank you so much. This will work great. 🙌
june Whitman I couldn’t think of the name of those for the life of me lol. Like it was on the tip of my tongue and I just could not remember. Your post just made my day 😁
Thank you so much~ I had to laugh.... when I tried learning how to do the paracord ones I had to keep pausing and rewinding the tutorial because they were going soooo fast. We had so much fun making these.
Thank you Jan. We had a lot of fun making them. The little girls have been keeping me busy . They like being home and spending time with me and they always love doing crafts together. So it’s been fun 😁
Hi Rebecca, hows everybody doing. I just think this is a new trendy way to make plain flip flops look just stinkin cute. They’re gorgeous and the bows are super cute. They are awesome. Patriotic one is fantastic.👍👍❤️❤️🌸🌸🇺🇸
Rosemary Petrongelli I’m great! I hope you are doing great too... we had so much fun making these flip flops. I wasn’t all that into the idea at first and then I was like a machine thinking of different ways to spruce them up lol. My husband said “how many flip flops do they need!” 😂😂 ... but he also really liked them so I guess I won him over lol.
Thank you Lydia. We had a lot of fun making them. They are so easy to make. I was surprised how easy they were to do. The ones wrapped in Paracord took me a minute to figure out but once I got the hang of it , they went pretty quick. Comfy too.
OMG SOOOOO DOING THIS...but not with the DT flops....I want to love them so badly but I can feel everything I am walking on in them. I wished they would make the "foam" rubber sole thicker or heavier.
I agree , I used the DT flip flops for the kids but for an adult they are too thin and you can feel everything lol. I learned the hard way when I had a pair on, when I first moved to Texas... unaware how much of the grass has little spike like “stickers” ... Ouch! That little weed poked right through, leaving quite a few splinters in my foot. 😂 I like Old Navy flip flops they are inexpensive and a lot heavier soles. These are super fun to make... almost addicting lol.
I don’t know what that is but I’m going to look it up. I had someone else suggest a different knot too. I still have a few paid of flip flops I can decorate so I’m going to try your suggestion. Thank you!😁
I worried about that too at first. I thought maybe it would come undone, but they didn't. I would check them periodically to make sure the knots didn't come undone. They were able to wear them the whole summer and part of the fall. Since they had a few pair to switch between that might have helped too. I didn't expect much more than a season out of them since they were just the $1 shoes, but the material held up well. It stretched out more than I thought it would and we did have to tie it tighter once the shoes were "broken in" The ones with the cording were their favorite ones as far as being able to run and play, but they said the material ones were most comfy.
Yay! I hope you like yours and have as much fun as we did. Love how your comment font is different. It is so pretty. Really stands out. I had no idea you could change the font lol. Have a great weekend!

@@rebeccastuthecrew Wouldn't you feel the knots of the cloth underfoot?
So cute great idea for little girls ...😁tfs
Thank you Eve!
Use the rubber washers for grommets!
Omg so pretty
thank you!
Can you use glue in the hole so the knot won't go though the hole of the shoe after you put the knot in?
Amazing
Thank you Betty!
Face object towards you making a cobra ormsolomans knot it doesn't take to long, I use a clip board to to clip onbject to.... that turned out great.

Que bonitoos
dope!
Hermosas !!!!! Gracias por compartir !!
But what about the knot underneath? Doesn't that material fall apart?
I worried about that too at first. I thought maybe it would come undone, but they didn't. I would check them periodically to make sure the knots didn't come undone.
