This game, this season has been frustrating. Remember the Manchester united of old, when there was 10 minutes remaining we didn't hit long balls we played it around because we knew chances would come. I believe this is all a confidence thing and WE need to lift. Take e.g. chelsea last season and more importantly hazard and his level of confidence. With the new season came a new manager who lifted the chelsea team mentally and physically that is what separates us from them this season. With a little change of attitude and belief it can go along way and that is what we are seeing this year from chelsea. I am not saying that we need a new manager nor a new season to change things around. We have the talent on show but it's all about turning the talent into hard work and being passionate about playing for a club with a prestige's history. With that i believe will come confidence which will lead to titles in the near future.

I guarantee you Jose won't lift this team up next season. He would have to sell MKHI, Martial, Shaw, Blind, Januzaj, Mensah, Tuanzebe, plus more to have any chance of lifting up this squad after the way he has treated each one of them. We need a manager who has a little less ego.

The response was usually, it's your own fault for poor finishing. Robles wasn't even that good today, sure he made a decent save or two.
So I'd say the solution is to improve your finishing. If you keep hitting the post, your finishing is poor. If you keep giving the keeper an opportunity to save your shots, your finishing is poor.

Baily and Shaw had a good game tonight but I do agree that the squad does need a big clear out as many sacrifices have be made in the summer for sure as some players just aren't hungry enough to be in the team. Griezmann as clearly one of best players in world atm would be great signing but not sure he wants to come especially if we don't qualify for Champions League.
Great to hear Mou mentioning Chicharito. I think if we move Martial to CF then we would have Ibra, Rashford and Chicharito as backup and even play with 2 from those 4. If Harry Kane is available then we must go for him - he will be outstanding for us as he is proven in the PL although Spurs will want stupid money. Belotti at Torino should be looked at as well as he has been lethal this year.
Other than up front, we ideally need another wide player, a holding midfielder and potentially a creative attacker. Names that stand out are James (likely but not sure if Mou would like him), Verratti (think Barca bound) and Griezmann who would all be great additions. Bakayoko at DM has also been touted but do not know much about him.
I would like to see Blind being given a chance in Carrick's position. Fellaini, Darmian, Rooney, Young have to go.

i dont think top 4 is over just yet. it will be tough though. Regardimg this game, the disallowed goal was a legitimate goal. Sadly, our strikers are REALLY below par, yes they maybe young and yes they need more time to develop but we can all admit that without ibra we would be nowhere near top 4. Frustrating thing is each time the other top contenders slip up, our fans get all excited and then get let down as we also drop points.

Playing a striker as a winger, playing 2 wingers as LB and RB. It was like watching wimbledon from the 80s hump the ball forward to Big Fash/Ibra/Fellaini.
I feel that United played good this game but they were lacking in the final third. In my opinion United should stop playing sideways and backwards but they should start playing more direct. In all fairness you lot shouldn't. bought Paul Pogba he's a talented player but he's done Fuck all.

Needed Martial and Mkhitaryan. They run at the defenders. Pogba has been great, created loads of chances. Would have over 20 assists this season if Ibra etc wouldn't bottle so many chances.

Despite his poor show today, De Gea is rather good. Zlatan and Pogba are world class/top class and Bailly, Valencia and Mata have done enough to warrant a place in the starting XI next season. Everyone else is or should be at risk. And that means there are six spots for the taking. I expect Shaw to come good at LB next season. That leaves us 4 positions to fill in a 4-2-3-1: LCB, RCM, LW and a CAM/SS. Ideally, I'd want Mourinho to get proven players in the 25-30 years of range or close to that anyway. Martial and Rashford are only good enough to deputise for the starters at the moment as they're too young and raw, and Mkhitaryan needs competition as he's been inconsistent. My transfer strategy would be:
1. Get the number 10 first as the lack of goals has been a problem this season, ideally one with a high work rate to dovetail with Ibra, i.e. any one of the likes of Griezmann or James
2. Enquire with Juventus for Bonucci and Marchisio and seal the deal for whichever player they make available for that'd solve one of our problem areas and we'd then have to buy only for the other spot (i.e. either LCB or RCM)
3. Get that upgrade on Martial and Rashford for the LW spot and ideally, a player with good crossing abilities and someone who can unlock defenses, i.e. someone like a Douglas Costa

We need to up the tempo and keep it going, to slow on the build up, to many sloppy passes in the final third. United will be fine overall but we need winners in the team now, those who will give blood to make us win

Wow, someone actually gets it! Madder than I am, good stuff. We have to start from the top and sack every single player and decision-maker at the club. Except 7 people: De Gea, Rashford, Mata, Bailly, Zlatan, Rojo, and, maybe, Mikitaryan. These are the only people who act like they give a toss about the club. Really, consistently, thats the truth. And Im stretching it with Miki. Mata has always come through when we needed him, Rojo is really dedicated, Bailly hasnt put a foot wrong yet (though needs to adjust to English football), Zlatan delivers just about enough and wants to win, Rashford is from Manchester and shows us something new in each match, and Mikhitarian can be brilliant and attack-minded, but hes in a role where consistency is crucial. The others either have a good day twice a season and otherwise just sit on their paychecks, or are absolutely horrific non-footballers who just came to England or Manchester for the money and fame (Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Pogba, Valencia, Martial etc etc etc). Most of them are Moyes and LVG picks anyway, and those that are Mr. Chelsea's acquisitions are all Real Madrid-style foreign signings, which has no place on this side of Manchester. We've let some decent native players go (Brady, Heaton, Drinkwater, Foster for example) and some decent foreign ones (Ronaldo, Stam, younger Janusaj, Gerard Pique, etc etc etc) so why cant Blind and Fellaini etc fuck off?? No way they would be allowed to play if this was the 90s. Not a solitary, quivering little chance in fucking Hell. Sack everyone, get the talent scouts back, and fire up the trials in Albert Park like its the early 90s. It worked last time, and clearly this foreign corporate shit show does not.
