Linear is fine for sniping, atleast for me. Been destroying with the sniper ever since i switched to linear.. again for me it works.
I use is linear too, so I was confused by this video until I saw your comment lol.
Thomas Sargent oh yeah lol i used to be on exponential but once i switched to linear my shots been beaming people from far and up close. My snipe shots are cleaner too. I’m not a pro or anythint but making the switch to linear was the best decision ever

Nick is still finding his edit binds but I swear if you don't have confirm edit on release, editing with left stick and confirming with right is cracked. I have recently switched to confirm edit on release so my right stick confirm button I don't really use. I have a 4 paddle elite and like still don't use any paddles for any of my edits.

I have an Astro controller and my paddles are bound to edit on left and build maps on right which is also confirm edits. I jump with the left stick you don’t have to jump with that but try the edit button it feels awesome and also L1 is a good edit button but you have to change your cone button and stuff

AnbukinjuYT L1 is the bumper you switch weapons with by default the stick is L3 are you talking about that because that’s a very common bind to use and it’s pretty good I used L1 before when I used a DualShock normal controller then I got the Astro and put it on the paddle
Prodigy Nick for me the Astro is really good is feels way sturdier and it is way better quality but it is 200 dollars but for the price I think it’s worth. The buttons aren’t too loose and they are easy to press but not to the point where you will accidentally press it. The trigger stops are nice and sturdy but I choose not to use them. The thumb stick tension is a little low but in fortnite there is deadzone and on the software for the controller if it’s a little too clingy then you can turn it up as bit. The one problem with most elite controllers is that the drift gets bad and you can’t fix it and eventually you will need a new controller and you will end up paying more because buying multiple scufs for 150 each is going to cost more turban buying one controller and replacing the modules for 25 bucks for two of them. The buttons are also super comfortable and placed really well. And also the fact that you can play Xbox and PS4 layout makes it good for both controller preferences. It’s around the size of an impact but everything on it feels way better. The one problem is that there are only two paddles but that’s not a big deal to me I only need 2. And also you can test it by buying it at like bestbuy or GameStop and getting it and if you don’t like it just return it within the time limit and you will get refund. Hope this helps
I use L3 for edit and confirm edit also.. why put confirm on another button?
It’s faster to press another button immediately after then press the same button twice.
JAMRAM yeah if you’re comfortable using circle as your edit then change your confirm to something else. I have my confirm on Left trigger which is very comfortable.
I know most people use left joystick to edit and the like left trigger to confirm
I tried a different button for confirm and I didn't like it.. and now I turned on confirm edit on release so now I don't need to worry about it anyway. .

Hey guys can you help me with my settings. Which setting is better to use linear or exponential? And why?
With linear u always have same turning speed right from the beginning. If u get used to the speed zr aim will get better and more consistent since ur muslce memory always remembers the speed. U will have much better pump and mp aim which is more important nowadays in Fortnite. Because the meta is boxfighting and buildfightung most of the time. AR aim will suffer a a little bit because from distance its hard to controll unless u increase ur deadzones maybe to 0.12 or 0.10 instead of 0.5. Then it will be easier to controll at range.
Exponential is good as well because there u can aim more precised at range and still have good pump aim. But hipfire aim on linear is better and faster.
I prefer linear and used to play on exponential before

@@dezcardona1471 try out 42% horizontal and 45% for vertical with 0% boost and right stick deadzone on 0.10 on linear im killing it on these settings. Im on ps4. When u dont have kontrollfreeks try 38 and 42%

Most peeps saying there were better at snipes I'm the opposite I'm better now with sniper then I was before and also would make since seeing as since the new season rifle shots are crap am on them red crosshairs and everything but would get a single hit till clips empty....mind you I haven't changed my setting at all and I started end of season 8 start of 9
Hey since your left handed flip the controller to the opposite side so your aim stick is on the left and your movement stick is on the right it’s great, just to tell you that it has results I qualified in last weeks cash cup in top 50 😁😁(Middle East)
Idk about this, I'm left handed and I feel like this would just throw me off and wouldnt show any improvement, just a long time to get use to it. The issue is most left handed ppl have been playing there whole life with these type of controls so we are used to that. Do you flip the mouse when using a keyboard to the other side and hold it with your left?

I'm confused what's this video about with the title? What fortnite setting could be messing up your accuracy? The only comment I heard was about how there is no sniper sensitivity with the new settings. But that is something we have no control over if you're using the new settings.
