I just got this model as well. I love the green dial and that's what sold me on it. I'm just not a fan of the strap being green,so I bought the black version of this design. I think the black strap allows the dial to stand out a little more, but at the same time has a better contrast overall.
I just bought one this weekend, It's beautiful, i can't stop looking at it, the sapphire crystal with it's ar coating is great and the ceramic bezel is bedazzling. Also over the last 48hrs it has only lost 2-3 seconds, that's pretty cool. My only criticism so far is that the crown tube feels really "gritty" when you are screwing down the crown. I do gently go anti-clock wise to find the thread before I attempt to screw it down but, geez, it feels pretty dirty!
In house movement. Over 40 Hour power reserve. Ceramic bezel. Sapphire crystal. Explain to me why one would need much better. I personally have Breitlings, Tudor’s, and Rolex’es but let’s be honest here. This Seiko along with the king samurai and limited edition releases Seiko has releases are as good as most and better than some of those watches. And realistically luxury watches unless you’re a multi millionaire are not going to be your daily. This kind of watch will be and should be. So it’s well above what’s necessary.

What's the reference number? I recently got the SRPE03 which is the black waffle dial with a bracelet.
