Love minr E same colour and a yr old now, engine is brill and love the looks , fit and finish is top shot, no messy wiring hang around and the quick shifter is spot on up and down best one yet, power may be down compared to the hirnet but durring a back to back test the 8s was all voer the hornet better handling ,ride brakes where on par and enging sound with stovk oarts much sweeter if a litted muted, the finish suprised me the hornet was a great bike but the 8s was just nicer feels a bigger proper bike and abke to move around on it, glad i got it now, oh fuel con is around 55 to 70 mph depends on how i feel 10 out of 10
Thanks for your comments. The mirrors work well. Can see a lot behind me with a good, clear view. Bit fiddley to fit. They have a slight blue tint on the glass as well. I got these from eBay seller called ncooksecurity. They look and feel a good quality product.
@soulfish61 very good point, I have another 2 years before I will find out the hard way. But I am told most mot testers will pass it as long as the baffle (db killer) is fitted.
@stevesanelli90 Many thanks for your comments. I have enjoyed every mile on it so far. It's so easy to handle, plenty of power, sounds great, and looks great. It's my first big bike since getting my licence, so I am still new to the world of motorcycles. Love it.
thanks for the video, got the gsx 8r a few weeks ago, good call with the offroad comments lol. will be adding this system to my bike. had a question, when adding this exhaust did you get your ECU tuned by chance as well/. thanks
Hi, thanks for your comments. No ECU adjustment needed, just fitted it, and it worked. I'm not sure if ECU is supposed to by adjusted though, Have done about 1300 miles with it since (off-road lol), and it seems to be OK.
@@lost-againnot required but with the 2wdw ecu flash and a few airbox mods, they got a 22 % increase in power…. Not required but this bike has massive potential… but then it’s maybe too much for some ???
Hi, thanks for your comments. It's a Puig touring windshield. It is very easy to fit. I wasn't sure whether to fit it, but I'm glad I did as it does make a difference reducing wind buffeting.
@pioneerarist2544 Thanks for your comments. I wasn't sure what one of those were, so I just saw one on the Internet. I might try getting one to fit and then see what the sound is like. Thanks for watching.
@@lost-again Well, it can be called a DB killer but they are installed inside the exhaust. When you go in high torque, it decreases the burning sound and makes your exhaust get more bass and powerful. The shape looks like a honeycomb.
@pioneerarist2544 OK, I didn't know. I will find out a bit more about that. I am still quite new to motorcycles and still learning. Many thanks for the info.
Thanks for your comments. I personally think it sounds better than the stock exhaust did. I would like to compare it against a few other models at some point in the future.
This bike, i am sorry but is suzuki's worst mistake..... They haven't improved a bit, i am sorry but for the price tag this bike is not outstanding in any way, and looks.... just looks boring and dull just like all the cyber thingy things from other brands. The SV 650 Tail light was just superb, so it was the engine, why do not make a 800cc V-Twin? They even keep the vstrom name, and IS NOT A V engine..... just pathetic, sorry about my rant but just pointing out facts.
Thanks for your honest comments. I am a complete novice to the world of motorbikes with only a few months of riding experience. I discovered there are so many bikes to choose from and as soon as I found one i liked, another one came up and i changed my mind so many times. I ended up with the GSX 8S as one of my many favourites. But I do take the points you made on board.
@@lost-again Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad bike, i just i'm sorry Suzuki decided to go this way... Having such nice and reliable engines ( as of sv650 or the 1000cc V-twin used in the SV1000 ) i feel just sad that the only thing that made Suzuki Special is now gone, and i'm a big fan of Suzuki.

what a beautiful color scheme. Everything just flows.
Many thanks for your comments.
I have this exercise on a couple of bikes. Opening up the exhaust pushes the maximum torque up the rev range. Personally I like torque at lower revs
Which rear hugger is that? Looks awesome ❤
@@Mantocu Thanks, it's the Puig Hugger | Carbon from an online company called pyramidmoto.co.uk. very easy to fit as well.
Love minr

Will the bike pass a MOT with that exhaust, or is it race only. I am finding it difficult to find a street legal to fit my gsx8s.

Which backwheel cover is this one on your 8s?
Hi, it's a carbon effect Puig rear mudguard. Easy to fit and does make an improvement in wet weather with reducing back splash from wet roads.
Like number 111

Yeah it is a bit on the large size. I couldn't get the arrow when I was looking so got this one instead. Does the arrow sound deeper?
