George, my favorite of all the Gospels is that of John. In Season 2, Episode 1, when you started reciting, "In the beginning was the Word..." I broke down and cried like I had not cried during the entire series. I felt as if I was witnessing John himself delivering his message. Your acting is superb for you capture and embrace the true essence of the Apostle John.
Because of Jonathan, I fell in love with Jesus all over again and because of this cast millions around the world are coming closer to Jesus every single day God bless each and everyone of you

It is one of my favourite & most incredibly moving scenes. Your sincere love for the character you portray was very clear & touched my heart immensely. I saw Jesus as willing to come down to our level in that scene with Simon. And scripture says he emptied himself to come to us. I LOVE that scene with Simon, it moves me every time!
John ❤️my favorite disciple ! I say that and add because Jesus loved him most as a joke with my friends but seriously I am falling more in love with him because of your portrayal George ! The scene in the synagogue where he is Chosen to help Jesus pick what part of the Torah to read ! ❤❤❤❤.As Jesus reads John has a tear and so do I ,actually more than a few ! Praying for this incredible group God has put together to tell Jesus story by those that knew Him ! Praise God

I love what George said in the intro. I think what makes The Chosen works is it shows the sanctification of the followers of Christ rather than jumping to story to story, making it ENTIRELY about Jesus.
Remember, that's George, not John & many of these actors are not born again. Please pray for the many people on set who don't have Christ as their personal Savior.
These are the stars, & the movie The Chosen is a work of art, yes, but goes beyond because of the Holy Spirit. Make sure you pray for each actor for true salvation.

I love the way he describes how he tells people who don't know Jesus about the show, becuase so many shows about Jesus aren't this way. I also love his answer about growth. In early times of waiting on the Lord, I didn't understand that and wanted His promises NOW. Looking back on many times I am thankful for HIS wisdom in not answering my NOW request! Because I clearly wasn't ready for what came later. The disciples (espec that one scene with Simon in S2 when they're walking!) are an excellent example and reminder of how His timing really is better than ours.
