Never been a fan of installing a Kahler on guitar already routed for a fulcrum trem. That’s an irreversible mod best left in the past. Hard tail Strat was the way to go.
@@Metalcop5150 that was my question that nobody seemed to understand, I know he was showing how in American strats the outside holes match the Kahler and wanted to see if the Mexican strat bridge holes would too. But a hardtail you would have a big hunk of the body missing from the spring cavity.
The most gorgeous Fender Strat I've ever seen. Seriously, 20 tones and a badass Kahler? Definitely a dream guitar.
Nice stuff, Eddie. It's cool that the complexity of engineering for the Kahler actually makes it pretty simple once it's on the guitar.
Great Vid Eddie! The Kahler bridge really is a cool piece of kit :) Hope yourself and Gary have a fantastic new year!!
I appreciate your info on locking tuners!
They make fancy shims now but I’ve had business cards used over the years and they do work just fine, lol
Love the Kahler Bridge. I have a couple vintage BC Rich guitars with em.
Very cool I had a kahler on an old guitar I had and I loved it wish I would never got rid of it nice upgrades bro 🤟
Bro I simply LOVE THAT GUITAR
Cool! I need one. Great video.
Can’t wait to see the finished guitar.
That's some awesome upgrades for an already Pro piece of gear.
Good stuff Ed, always a class act on installations.
Awesome
Nice job all the work I don’t own a strat. Love to own this❤️
True Battle Axe ⚡⚡⚡
I'll always opt for Kahler versus Floyd Rose.
Watching this was cool, my only thought is why not use a Fender hardtail so then there is no old spring cavity?
I think he wants to show you how the holes line up for this type of guitar.
@matthew80127 ok but now that's a good question about the fixed bridge will the screws line for those?
@matthew80127 ok googleing the hardtail plate i know now the mounting screws are not in the same place, I didn't know that. Now I do.
It's a Kahler focus channel..... What benefit is there using Fender parts on a Fender on a Kahler channel? Ya know?
@jasonsapp792 that has nothing to do with my question
I will take a lefty, if you don’t mind… 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
KAHLER... PROS CHOICE!!!
💯
strat with a khaler is too cool
Nice 👍

Send it to my house, then I’ll tell you all how good it is. Lol.
Kahler is certainly an interesting choice on a guitar that already has a two point trem with a bottom route for springs 😅
why...
Better installing a genuine Wilkinson locking trem than this expensive piece off #(it!
We don't need these again.. 😂😂😂
