You’re lucky to have stumbled onto the right story. There’s another story much similar to this one, but the brain never and still is not growing, and the parents are profiting off of it through social media gifts and donations, not completely sure if the story is real though

I've read about this sort of thing happening before. The baby had very little brain, but with the hydrocephalus taken care of, the brain had a chance to expand back to where it should have been. Miracles still happen.
This child does have a Brain, just took a longer for the physical part to grow. If he doesn't have a Brain why is he SMARTER THAN MOST PEOPLE BORN WITH ONE?

doctors don't know anything, 3 specialists told me my friend was brain dead, a week later, he woke up, brain perfectly fine all memories in tact and no negative affects, brain wise. So he wasn't brain dead and their tests don't work.
No, their tests usually do work. The main reason why things like that happen is because science does not know everything about the brain, and sometimes something will happen that science just can't explain... yet. However, they are correct most of the time.

This is a wonderful story about an amazing boy and his amazing parents who's listen to their hearts and made the right decision. Medical mistakes are the 3rd leading cause of death in our country after heart disease and cancer. That is a HUGE number of people! Having been a healthcare provider for over 35 years I would just like to say that medicine is an art and a science. I believe the art includes listening to a person's heart and inner voice for answers. We have a lot to learn in medicine.

well the reason is easy - normally baby brains develop in the womb, but the genes messed up and put that part of the development further down in it's development in a whole (after it was born). basically his brain grew late.

Well... I'm in a similar situation. Currently, I have 4 brain cells (extra thicc ones), but it seems fine to me. They overheat less, but still too much. Also, it's cheaper!

Doctors are NOT Gods. Never say never. I believe in miracles and I have jad proof in my own life that they happen more often than you think. I am so happy for this family. This child is a miracle that has a reason to be.

This is the advise you get from Doctors with “free health care”
Don't give birth to a child who will probably suffer and die. This is not bad advice. Just because it worked out for them doesn't mean it's going to work out for the next couple faced with this decision. Furthermore, this has nothing to do with public funded healthcare. There are plenty of private doctors who would give the same advice.

He wasn't "born without a brain", since he did have intact brain tissue. A newborn brain learns different functions - speech, co-ordination, memory etc , and so did his. They say we don't use most of our brain anyway. The boy uses all of his. I guess the stimulation caused it to expand.

This is plausible. Many years ago, I knew a kid who was maybe age 7 and, he had half of his brain removed due to a medical condition, short story is he was mostly recovered less than a year later. Had it been an adult who went through this procedure, I almost 100% sure that person would've been disabled for life.
Shows that if it's something outside the box, doctors are stuffed. They can't admit they really know very little and also can't admit when they are wrong.
Something tells me if they baby DID have a brain the baby would've have Alzheimer's disease
