Great points "points" . There are layoffs that happen due to Acquisitions ESPECIALLY in the Tech industry so great points but these tips are not for all situations which is fine. Not all layoffs are related to performance someimes high performing folks could be laid off as well i have seen it happen. I have watched videos from folks in the tech industry speaking about layoffs and the advice is a bit different.
Great episode! Love the excellent points. Especially the emotional aspects of being paid off or downsized. I've not ever been laid off, but like Kiersten I left before I was asked. I was confident I would find a job or launch a business instead. Sadly, people who are left become fearful for their jobs and take on more tasks to make up for the layoffs. Appreciate the great tips Julien and Kiersten. Glad I'm retired 😅
