I actually love Eclipse's voice. It's a nice middle ground between Moon and Sun. It's soft and calming, whereas the Moon was too sinister and the Sun was sweet and fun but too manic and overwhelming. I really really hope we get more of this character in the future. They're a fan favorite so the hopes are high but we've also had past favorites get forgotten, so who knows.
Like a comfort character. I like how his name was kinda from fandom and adopted by the devs. Eclipse was originally a glitched Sun that was Sun's body with Moon's voicelines and the habits of both. Oh, and of course, can kill you as Moon.

@@BoxOKittens I did hear certain lines and plot points eclipse takes were originally Bonnie's. They are in the files.
I really like the detail of different dialogues if you try to interact before both generators are turned on: And the differences in deaths depending on whether no generator or only one is one. Sun having a little more control with one, and Moon having his complete control at none.

It seems like Eclipse has been deactivated for so long that he doesn't even realize the Pizzaplex is destroyed. truly sad
He did, sun saw it and shared it with him. He gonna repair the pizzaplex child care first just to get it operable again quickly than you first see. None of the other areas will be fixed since it’s outside his area of work.

Dang, I didn’t even know you could approach them before having both of the generators on. This is super cool! Sun has to be one of the best characters.

Based on how Sun says "we need to be whole" i believe that once upon a time there was only Eclipse. Then, something happened to Eclipse, who had full control over his discord light/dark theme settings, that replaced him with Sun and Moon, who ran on minecraft daylight sensors. One day, Sun discovered how violent Moon gets and the rest is history.

@@BlooMonkiManI don't think that's true. I think Moon and Sun were always supposed to be separate. They have their own candies and are marketed as separate personalities. So I really do wonder what is Eclipse's purpose.
@rickygamingproductions I don't think Sun and Moon merch DISPROVES that theory. Fazbear Entertainment got rid of Bonnie and re-themed Bonnie bowl with a diffrent design of Bonnie? They also replaced Foxy with Roxy? It's clear they aren't against re-themeing a character to covering something up.
Heck, even the Security Breach Files says that the Moondrop candies were made to make Moon look nicer to the kids, but it's not how he actually acts.
Maybe that's why the Eclipse arcade machine is hidden away?
The theory of Eclipse being the original daycare attendant makes sense. Sun even says they need to make them "whole". Aka putting two things together into one thing. Sun + Moon = Eclipse.
Sun even has drawings of Eclipse, and it's very clear that Eclipses personality is a balance of Sun and Moon. Which is why they are calm, they even do Moon's wave!
Maybe Sun and Moon's backstory from the books is canon? Or Vanessa convinced Fazbear Entertainment to split them apart cuz it was part of Vanny's plan for Moon to turn out evil?
I dunno, but I certainly wouldn't rule out a theory with this much evidence just cuz of merch! Especially with a company as shady as Fazbear Entertainment
@@alienfrograbbit5310 You've certainly thought about this more than I have. All i really focused on was Sun's "we need to be whole" line and how Eclipse was less energetic than Sun but also less hostile than Moon... Also what is their book backstory again?
Poor Sun... I feel bad for that guy. All he wanted was to play with his friends & children and tell them not to turn off the lights... Only for Gregory to turn them off by accident💡 Legend says that after the earthquake, (which was caused by Freddy Fazbear's pizza place burning down🔥) Sun is fighting Moon for control and is waiting for the lights to turn back on💡 At least Cassie saved Sun and killed Moon by rebooting him into becoming Eclipse.
It doesn't kill the moon, it just resets it, causing the virus to be removed
It wasn't the burntrap ending it was the princess quest ending so it probably did have an earthquake
I hace a theory that Moondrop was controlled by Glitchtrap, and was still under Afton's control,and by rebooting them Sun was able to get him back.If you think about Moon's plushies, they have blue eyes,not red.

It’s more likely that Moon is just asleep and Sun thanked us because they’re not suffering any longer.

Sun already knew that the only way to stop all that suffering was to restart Moon and eliminate it, although it is very sad since Moon was practically only damaged by the virus, Sun was already tired, fighting against Moon and trying not to lose control against Cassie, and trying not to kill us in the second jumpscare trying to stop Moon. Although Moon left, it was the best for both of them, although now Eclipse will have to be alone, who knows for how many years until it doesn't work... or is left waiting for children that will never come back. :(
Good news! There's A LOT of evidence to suggest that Eclipse isn't a third AI, but is instead a fusion of Sun and Moon's personalitys. Sun doesn't tell us to get rid of Moon, he says "we need to be whole".
Moon cares about the rules TOO MUCH and is focused on punishing children. Sun is more friendly but very paranoid and overwhelming. But Eclipse balances out their personality, they care about the rules but also care about people. They are more calm and not anxious since they don't have anything to worry about anymore.
Also? "Eclipse?" An Eclipse is when the Sun passes over the Moon (or vice versa) So an Eclipse is quite literally a mixture of the Sun and the Moon. Why would they name them that if they wasn't the case??
I think that is a happier ending, plus it had more evidence! :D
Moon isn't dead, he's just part of Eclipse now. I think Sun's last "thank you" was representing that, but not representing that they were separate.

I think I'm the only one who noticed this but when you put on the mask where sun says "Now! Do it now!" You can see that moons hat is red when you see sun so sun has a variant hat of moon's?

This kinda gives me the vibes that eclipse is actually what this animatronic is supposed to be at all times. His personality is the calmest and most comforting, the one that seems most fit to run the daycare. When we meet sun/moon in security breach neither of them really seems like they should be running the daycare. Sun just wants to play and isn’t trying to hurt Gregory but he’s still way too manic and anxious and I think that would scare kids. And moon is. Moon lmao
I’m not like super into fnaf lore but I really like this character, so apologies if this is something that’s well known. Cause didn’t security breach say all the animatronics were malfunctioning? Maybe both sun and moon were malfunctions, one original personality that was split in two by accident.
It wouldn’t make sense if they were originally just Eclipse. There’s nothing in the Pizzaplex about Eclipse. No merch, promotions, or anything in the staff notes. It’s more likely that he comes out only rarely if he’s even separate from Sun and Moon at all.

We never see what happens if you just dim the lights instead of turning them off completely do we?
I see Eclipse like a temporary reset mode for the two bots. If one or both are heavily malfunctioning to the point simple repairs can't fix them, they are factory reset and Eclipse comes out momentarily while this happens. Like a real eclipse, which comes and goes fast and does not last. This is why Sun returns briefly to thank you, as the defragmentation process is complete and Moon is possibly healed and they can go back to some sense of normalcy.
On the flipside, Eclipse could also be a pure combining of the two animatronics, erasing the original personalities completely and rebooting them. Sun saying 'thank you' is his final send off before he fades away completely and Eclipse is left by his lonesome.

You miss dialog when you go to moon and sun with no generators and have mask on he start to sing and cry. You must be like 2 or 3 meters away from him
The singing (and I think the crying as well) isn't related to generators or how close you are standing to him. As long as you have the Vanny Mask on, Sun's singing voicelines will pop up at anytime. And of you don't have the Vanny mask on, then Moon will sometimes speak. But it's not related to standing next to them.
0:45 is so sad because moon was gonna kill cassie but sun came in and stopped moon...for a little while and it's because sun was not strong enough to hold back moon and moon takes over again and kills cassie ☀️🌙

I love sm the new jumpscares of Ruin, they become more animated like a mix of cutscene and jumpscare, but idk one thing, the animatronics are still hacked or they just mad with Gregory!? Also tells me if im wrong, in the first jumpscare what Moon do?! Like grabbing and drop us from a high level or something?
Since I think the mimic had something to do with the virus, they are still corrupted in Ruin which is why they act aggressive. Some seem like they sort of break out of it like Roxy and Chica
