That's not enough for HALIENE'S song. She deserves really more. She's amazing. Put 100000000000000... for her. She's awesome when she's singing. Me I Iove this song.
This song grew on me a lot. ngl i am itching for those drops with that absolutely soul crashing range of sounds perfectly harmonizing as one. but this song still hits me on the feels and gives me goosebumps, so i cant really complain :)
Really just want those big full nurko drops with that classic nurko arp in the build that trancey vibe I used to say if I'm not feeling ILLENIUMs new sound just listen to nurko he's old ILLENIUM now he's doing an ILLENIUM🤣
Finally Nurko songs that give me goosebumps. Loving every aspects from this, from vocal to the composition 9/10

man, I watched this video and this music yesterday for the first time on my cellphone with a cheap earphones and was like: "what? the drop is perfectly mixed". Now I just listened to this music with my actual headphones that I use to make music and man, you're right. This drop really feels like there is no high-end at all
Listening to Blanke's latest track with Haliene, then this track here, really highlights how production and mixing can impact a song. Blanke's production is impeccable and gives the song the impact it needs and really makes the song shine. I cant feel but let down after listening to this one though
Man I can't hate Nurko. He is like my top top artist, but...yeah he need to focus more on these drops. Not a bad song. He will be much better and bigger. I'm pretty sure with that. Loved ur reaction.
Man, I don't get it. Nurko has made songs like Better Off Lonely, Eternity and Save Me, which all have full drops with good mixing. Then he has tracks like Disappearing Now and this one which have great verses but the drop has bad mixing.
Now every time Nurko releases a new song I am scared that it gets a bit ruined by the mixing in the drop.
Yep, both great drops let down by feeling quite muted with no high end
Yeah, this song suffered from the same mixing 'issues' Disappearing Now had. It doesn't quite sound as punchy as it could be. I literally compared the drops of Retraced and Better Off Lonely and there is a noticeable difference.

The song overall was good but there was a problem in the mixing and high-end and also I felt there were way too many breaks in the drops. The breaks are cool but they are too many of them. But other than that, the vocal was beyond amazing, Haliene killed it!
i dont get why he has a lot of high end in the builds but then in the drop it's just not there and not hitting the way it should be. otherwise a solid track from him
istg he did a solid mix on the drop in his recent song On Purpose but now he's doing a Dissapearing Now style with the weak mix lol
Man used to love nurkos older stuff, but for awhile now just not feeling it. BIGGER FULLER SOUND PLEASE.
I'm not technically knowledgeable about mixing, but I THINK I have an idea. Personally I don't have any issues with the drops at all. The second drop especially, to me, has a LOT of interesting things he's doing. First song in a while from Nurko that I've actually liked on first listen, other than If The World Was Ending. For me, a solid 8.
Nurko tends to have bit problems on mixing on his drops imo. Nonetheless, this is probably his best release in 2024 other than Heart For Rent.
I really want to love this song, but I sadly can't due to some issues I have with it. :c
I really like the verse production and build-ups, but the drops suffered due to the mixing. Also idea wise regarding both drops, I feel like the stops/breaks take away some of the energy and fullness. Like as an example, drop 2 had a super big build-up and when the drop hit, it's like that energy didn't really pull through everytime those breaks happened. I feel like those breaks should, in Nurko's style, be used sparingly for fills and whatnot, not throughout the entirety of the drop. In terms of atmosphere though, he excelled at it.

I wanted to like it until the drop.
I think the drops were too disorganised and chaotic. When I listened to Eternity for the first time, everything felt complete and in place. But in this song, all of the variations make the drops confusing. And where were the high end saws and leads???
Man, you need that big snaaaare! Kind of a let down.

Feel like all of Nurkos drops are sounding all the same. Honestly dont find him to be a very innovative, creative artist. Really dig Haliene's sections of the song, and also the mixing is like super off. Its an alright track like its definitely not bad, but this just sounds alot like many of his recent releases.
