Within all my tutorials I aim to help you develop your skills working within Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as further your knowledge about the tools which are available within the Microsoft Office Software.
Throughout this channel I aim to cover simple subjects such as page numbers, margins, headers and footers, image, pictures and fonts as well as more advanced themes such as tables, mail merge, table of contents and electronic signatures.
Sharing tips and tricks which I discover along my journey is also an important aspect of this channel. I love the idea of giving people the solution to a problem they’ve been struggling with in Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Thank you. Simply select the words you want to repeat and 'COPY' (CMD/CTRL +C) and then 'PASTE' (CMD/CTRL + V) where you want the words to repeat on the page :)

In Office 2016, I am copying text a large document pages, from another document with various formatting titles and such, , to notepad, to lose all formatting, then copy & paste onto Word Doc, but text paragraphs are narrow, it does not fill out wide? even if I adjust margins? Help please.

In the home tab there is a block of icons which deals with the font and text. In here there is an icon with an 'A' and a small purple square called 'clear all formatting'. If you use this tool it will undo any formatting from your pasted text which may help with the paragraphs but may also cause other issues with titles etc. However, you will then be able to use all the Word tools to fix any discrepencies.

This formatting will not work with ATS systems if you have a resume, or are trying to use this document to capture or use anything around AI. It does not understand (and will skip through) anything that sits inside a BOX. This is not the "right way" to hack fitting more on a page depending on your usage. Changing margins would be more beneficial and work with AI and ATS systems. Please be sure to communicate this as you could be setting people up for major failure even though your heart was in the right place for this hack.

This is crazy. I had one page, I was just moving my cursor and in one second it just changed to two pages by itself...how come it has to be so complicated to switch it back? It takes one second to move by itself to two pages, it should take one second to put it back. So what do I do to put it back in one second? There doesn't seem be any button to do that, how come it changed in one second? And now all my word documents are like that and new ones... Microsoft starter 2010 - I go to page layout then columns... and it's already says "one" so why is it showing more two pages like a book if it says "one? All my word documents are ruined.
