You are right , makeup expense is so important . If it’s good , I want to try but 150 dollars is huge deal . Foundation is important , base makeup can be really good then I can spend others cheaper, moreover I would spend skincare . If skin is bad , makeup doesn’t work in my opinion .

I have that Sisley powder. This is the first time I see a review on it and I always wondered why people were not talking about it because I love it. Have been using it for about a year. I do not have any other Sisley makeup product but one thing I do splurge on from the brand is the Black Rose Cream Mask - that thing is amazing! I have heard good things about their liquid shadows. They are just so expensive 😳.

I have the Sisley product. It was definitely a splurge cause I’m a student but like you it was too stunning on the skin to pass up. I prefer high performance complexion products and unfortunately majority of the ones I like end up being luxury. Don’t get me wrong more affordable products kill it to, but I love trying luxury. This product is currently in my top 5 favorites. It’s just stunning and very blurring.

I use a puff to apply the powder and almost press it on my skin. If you have the Tati puff that is perfect for application. So beautiful!

Lovely more natural look! The TF quad looks basic, but beautiful and elegant. I love Sisley skincare and makeup. My fav primer is the double tenseur. I have the original blurring powder, and I like to use it under foundation for more intense blurring. Their loose powder is also my favorite. So many goodies from Sisley!
I bought the Tom Ford quad and I love it. It’s very easy to use and gives a gorgeous look. For me, it was worth it!

I love Sisley… I mean, it’s Sisley. 😊If your retinol skin is craving something extra, some of their mid range price creams are perfection and hard to go back, so be warned.😉 Price is definitely important, I agree! Their masks are also very nice. For me, their neck cream smells like forty yrs of Sommer evenings, pure nostalgia.❤ Latest buy is their bronzer- even if there’s only one shade, it works beautifully, at least now in the summer. @@TaniaBWells yes it’s! But you can control saturation of the product combining it with the Tropical Dusk. I have to do it 🥰 for that reason and also it’s more on the peachy shades. Gorgeous palette with an amazing tan skin ☺️

I love sisley -- Phyto-Hydra Teint (tinted moisturizer) is gorgeous and so comfortable on dry skin. The bronzer is beautiful, especially if used as a last step on a big fluffy powder brush (such as the La Mer powder brush) all over the face. Phyto-Lip Twist (24, rosy beige) is an easy favorite. Le Phyto Rouge lipsticks: Rose Nouméa, Beige Manhattan, Rose Bolchoï -- lots of interesting colors. Ombre Eclat Liquide Eyeshadow and select single eyeshadows are lovely some subtle flattering shades and some metallics which have higher impact.

You can use the powder under foundation as well.. I tried that once but didn’t see the biggest result and kept using it over foundation. It’s so blurring

Stunning palette & stunning look. Agreed about the topper shades being elegant. So soft and elegant rather than POW glitter bomb in your face. Love the soft elegance of this color story and glow/sheen it gives. Even though you were expecting something different or more muted or even cool toned'ish out of the pink or as a whole..... the end result looks stunning on your eyelids. It looks so pretty.

That Sisley Phyto Teint didn't grab me on the first couple of uses... maybe because it was different than anything I had used. By the time I was part way through, it went onto my repurchase list!
It does grow on me. I tried it for about a week or more now and I love it more and more.
The shade is perfect match for you, it really makes a difference, not pink instead is exactly the right color.
I do LOVE the Sisley lipsticks, very hydrating but with staying power :) and I also like the shade range. Their skin care is also very nice, love the phyto line. BTW I also use their volumizing shampoo and my curly hair looks great :)

I can’t wait to check out the new shade of that powder! I have the old original shade and it’s just way too peachy and dark for me. I can only really use it in the summer. It’s a great touch up powder though!
I’ve never been able to find a foundation/skin tint from Sisley that was worth the money, also the shade range really sucks.
in terms of my faves: phyto-cernes eclat in shade 2 is my holy grail corrector for under the eyes, and double tenseur is my favorite primer for special occasions. phyto lipstick in the shade Beige Manhattan is also gorgeous.
a hidden gem is their haircare! they make some incredible hair masks but worth checking out only on sale 😅

I have all of the Sisley foundations the powder and the infamous hair leave in conditioner product as well as the scalp serum and I love everything!
Space NK often has sales so I buy from there.
La Prarie and La mer powders and tbe foundations are also my favorite but I use them sparingly.
I bought each 1 at a time due to cost.
I will probably pick up more if I can find a sale. A few of you guys recommended some haircare so now I’m intrigued
I really enjoy your talk about the cost of beauty products because it really does matter. And I think it gives you a unique outlook here on UA-cam. Usually most luxury reviewers enjoy and appreciate the products like you do, but they never address the cost besides saying "it's very expensive". And most cost discussions I see happen on drugstore product focused channels. It's very interesting to hear your perspective as somebody who enjoys luxury products but who has an eye on cost and that luxury products really aren't worth the price, they are a luxurious experience not a necessity.
My guess is that people who discourage you from talking about this topic aren't comfortable with talking about money in general or maybe it doesn't matter to them. My opinion is that your interest and commitment to this topic brings something special to your channel and you should definitely keep embracing it!

Hello Tania! I watch all your videos because I love your way of explaining. You are definitely the best. So I have a question for you. I know which concealers you like best. But if you had to buy only one, which one would it be and why?
It would be the Chanel Sublimage. It gives me amazing coverage, but never looks heavy. It also has a slight peachy undertones a helps correct the darkness as well. It looks like skin, it last all day and you get a lot of product. The only thing I don’t love is the packaging but I got over that❤️
Love love the look on you and that tint gives a very subtle glow. Love the whole look. I have the powder and I wear it under my foundation . And it’s like a magic plus pen 😅 everyone’s skin is different. Your powder looks better under the foundation. I let it sit for few minutes before going in with the foundation. 🤍

Hello Tanya! Thank you so much for this video. You are the best! Your makeup is perfect!😻 Does Sisley powder blur more than Givenchy Prisme loose powder? Thank you 🥰
So.. I would say that these are two completely different styles of powder. I use the Givenchy to set under my eyes and it makes my makeup stay in place so so well, also very blurring. The Sisley is more of a finishing powder and you can also use it under foundation as a primer. It is invisible on the skin compared to the Givenchy that is more noticeable. The blur is.. different:) the Sisley is more natural on the skin, the Givenchy is a bit heavier. Both blur incredibly well, they just give a different effect❤️

Hi Tania, great video! I recently watched a video from Michelle Wang where she used the Sisley powder and she used the powder under her foundation. Apparently it can be used this way as well. Sort of like a blurring primer. Maybe you should try it it?😊
I did read about that and tried it once that way. It was ok, but I much more prefer it on top. I should have mentioned that in the video. ❤️
Fragrance it comes from natural oils and from synthetics. Sisley is all natural botanicals plus the skin care infused is absolutely incredible. Plus is oil free moisture foundation and skin care botanicals.
About pricing, I use mostly drugstore. It works good for me. Sometimes I want to try, especially a good high end foundation or skin tint. But then I think, why wpuld I spend 30 dollars of more if my 10 dollars foundation works just fine. I would maybe splurge once, but I'm trying to save money now.
However I like to watch a few luxury make up channels, since I find it relaxing. And at least if I would wish to splurge, I could pick the right product.
I keep the pouches on all my tom ford palettes. :P

Hi, the reason Sisley is more expensive is because it has skin care not just the color. I see you are young but investing in good products you will see the benefit now and over time. Drugstore foundation do not have as intense or skin care as the more expensive foundations, however, searching for the ingredients is a very wise way to choose foundation. Yes, talking about money is very important too!
Hi Tanja, the blur expert powder is recommended to be used before foundation as a primer :) different I know! So maybe try to use it that way :)

How does the Sisley powder compare to the Givenchy Prisme Libre setting powder?
The style of powder is so different. The Givenchy is more noticeable and intense ( in a good way), the sisley is invisible and it can be worn under foundation as a blurring primer. It is very light and it doesn’t set necessarily it blurs.
Is the Sisley powder truly that much better than the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder??? I have #3 and I adore it. Now I am 55 and I honestly want to know if the Sisely is better?
Honestly the Givenchy is incredible. They do different things. The Sisley can be used as a primer under foundation or on top as a finishing powder. It will not make your makeup last longer necessarily, but it will blur your skin and filter it. I don’t think you need both! The Givenchy sets my undereyes better ( longevity wise), but the Sisley is more skinlike.

I watched in UA-cam “Everyday Edit” Grace used the Sisley Blur perfect powder under her foundation and it poked wonderful, I suggest you watched it and see the difference as well as the Sisley concealer.
I’ve discovered that after I recorded this video. A lot of you guys let me know that it’s meant to go under foundation and over so I’ve been using it that way as well. It does work really well.❤️

So far I haven’t had a problem picking up the Sisley powder or no issues with hard panning, but I only had it for 2-3 weeks. Compared to Nars.. they are so so different!:) Nothing really similar about them.
The look is gorgeous! I was curious about the prices of the Sisley products and I wanted to compare them with what I would pay here in Sweden. So the powder is $90,90 and the skin tint is $86,09. The price is without taxes, but there’s quite a bit of price difference. Anyway, you totally sold those two products to me. I have to see if I can find a shade that would work for me. 💕

I have been using phyto hydra teint from Sisley for years. That costs about 60 dollars give and take, and even at that price range I thought it was expensive. This must be their newest version. In all honesty I will stick with their old one as it is fantastic and cheaper. I hope they will not end up discontinuing it and replacing it with this one which probably is the same but repackaged and more expensive, I don't know why brands do that, I suppose their way of increasing their prices. And yes I am 100% in agreement when you talk about prices, and all influencers should take your approach Tania. Brands are reviewing these videos. I hear so many influencers that keep saying "it is expensive but worth every penny,". With this mentality the trend of price increase will never end. Money is an important factor. And while many of these influencers (not all of them) get their products for free but we do not. Our pennies are valuable and needs to go with brands that take that into account. So please keep doing the great work you are doing and thank you so much for this video, loved it.

I got the 3W1 warm almond and I absolutely love the formula but the color is a bit off. I have to use bronzer to make it right. My favorite shade of foundation is Armani luminous silk in 5.5. Can you tell me what color you would use for Armani?

Hi Tania, would you say the sisely is better than the Westman Atelier powder as I find that very blurring but it doesn’t seem to last well on my skin
I think it’s similar effect. The Sisley can be used under foundation as well, but I didn’t love that. This isn’t a mattefying powder or one that will keep you from getting oily. It’s almost like a finishing blurring powder.

I have the Sisley tint/foundation in the shade 2W1. I bought it last year but I haven't used it yet - I'm a tad worried as you said this shade didn't work for you 😕. As you're my shade twin and I trust you 100%, I'm considering getting a different shade. We'll see 😉
I like the Phyto Lip Twist for a quick but very pretty lippy. It looks like a crayon, which makes it so easy to apply.
The powder sounds perfect for my "not so young 🤣", dry skin. Of course, ice got to get it. It's a shame it doesn't come in more shades, fair skin types are going struggle - so too are the more deeper skin types. I do find that luxury brands are shockingly poor at covering the lightest/darkest skin types, I wonder why that is 🤔.
I'm definitely passing on the two TF quads. I kinda expect "more" for the price of them. Obviously, price DOES matter, I want value for my money and these two quads in particular, are, in my very humble opinion, just not worth the asking price.

Hello Tanya! There was a great review about the Sisley concealer that comes with a brush (Phyto-Cernes Eclat). I have tried the foundation SISLEYA LE TEINT, it was stunning, but 149 EUR, so I decided not to buy it.

Would you say the powder is even better than the CT powder and the Givency?
It is quite different. The Givenchy is a very blurring powder that also sets. This one is almost like a finishing blurring powder, not so much setting your makeup. This won’t prolong your makeup necessarily, it will make it look more like a filter

I have the blurring powder for over a year and it doest work on me at all. My pores are more visible after using it, but im more combination/oily on T-zone. I even tried to use it as a primer, following Michele Wang's recent review but it was very cakey. I only use it as my finishing powder on my cheeks to blend the products together. Im quite disappointed for the money I spent on it.

I read that somewhere but talking to the people at the Sisley counter, they said nobody does that🤷♀️ I did try it under on e, but I felt like it was a waste because it didn’t do much.
Y the way…Sisley recommended using the blur power first underneath foundation….that’s what it’s for
I did read that they recommend to put it under OR on top of the foundation. I have tried it under the foundation and did not think that it did much, but on top of the foundation it had an amazing blurring effect.

I recently tried a Sisley single eyeshadow a college at my work bought. She let me tried it. I tried it at the end of work, and about 1-2 hours later when I got home, it was almost gone. And the pignentation was bad. It was awful. My essence single eyeshadow is more intense and lasts longer (i have their single metal eyeshadow,I think it's discontinued now. But it's older and still works better.) My colleague is not satisfied either.
I don't buy a lot of high end or luxury make up, but I not against it, if it really works for the price. But if an essence eyeshadow is better, that's just awful. There are a few high end / luxury products I have my eyes on and maybe woidl buy, but I wouldn't buy Sisley.
I haven’t even swatched their eyeshadows but that sounds terrible..
If I spend that kind of money I want a little more coverage. By the looks of it it doesn’t last long. Is not worth the money at all.
