If you look at the edge of the Touch marker cap, where it closes there is a bit of gray. It's not as wide as the Copic but once your eye is trained to look for this it is easy to pick out the brush tip from the back of the marker. Thank you for the review.
U usally draw and color digitally. With wacom or ipad pro.But i have like 20 copics. A cool grey set. And skin color and the basic color. I might just get all of the copics just for the sake of having all of them. I dont draw that much anymore but its fun to just sketch for 20 minutes.
Listen lmao copic are the best out there. There is no doubt about that they are the professional standard. You compare every marker to copic because they are the best. Ur just a bit jealous like most people lmao. But the quality of ur art depends on u.
By watching this video and thinking a little, I feel like SOME artist who use copics think they’re superior because they have copics, and talk down about other brands that aren’t copics or Faber-castell, but it’s just a feeling
PrettyMuch HorseBoiCurtis just like iphone users looking down at different phones, I saw some artists that can colour better with just cheap ass marker than those "artists" with hundreds of copics and keep showing off their copic collection on each picture. It's up to your skill in the end
PrettyMuch HorseBoiCurtis Your correct. I’ve felt the same way since every video I’ve found for touch marker vs. copics they make the copics seem better by adding extra detail. I think it makes them look superior? It sucks cuz I can’t find an honest video review.
Well, I have copic markers and prefer by FAR the Winsor and Newton, prismacolor are great as well, markers are like make up, some brands are simply about the name and overpriced! Btw (Winsor and Newton, and prismacolor are not cheap also, but at least not overpriced)
I've used both Touch and Copic markers. I personally really hate touch markers. They bleed no matter how lightly I use them. Also, the colors that they put on the marker's cap is often inaccurate to how they actually come out. They also don't blend very well. The copics are so much better. They blend very nicely, and are actually accurate to the cap. The copics bleed a little bit if I press too hard, but it doesn't ruin my drawings the way my touch markers have. I personally reccomend copics after my frustrating experiences with touch markers.
That never happened to me with touch markers. Copics for me are to expensive for like ONLY 40 something colours. For a begginer, touch is the master. EVEN if they are not good, you wasted like only 20$ on them, on Copics, oh boy that's alot of wasted money. I have around 250$ rn, pretty much can buy 320 ohuhu markers, (160$) but nope, until my touch markers break, NOT changing. Btw i have the 120 pack don't know if you really care tho.
Personally, I liked more the touch markers. They blend better and is like they have more colour than the copic markers. I've tried them and I can see the paper texture with the copics but with the touch is like I've printed my work. Idk it's my personal opinion
Yes, I agree because I have the same results with touch markers. They’re like printed art work. And I really love how they blend, are soft on paper, and not too pigmented when I use fast strokes.
On Lazada it's about 1 RM permarker .so for you Europeans it's should be 20 cents (or 0.20 , idk what you call cents there .) Edit : im not sure how they would work . But I found another type of touch markers , called touchfive on Lazada 30 colours for RM 59.80 ( so 60 ) so a marker would be RM 2 . To euros it's 50 cents still pretty cheap , has good reviews (though mention it's good for beginners ) and comes with free gifts .
I remember when the Touch sets came out, they were so much cheaper. "I know I am late on this, but your video just now came up on my feed." I checked amazon, and they are almost as much as copics.
I am kind of short in Budget and the country in which I live in (India) have expensive Copic markers. And to tell you it's unaffordable for 90% of us. So I am willing to buy touch markers which are cheaper. Can you tell me which are better? And for my purpose it's drawing Anime Characters.
When i got my Touchl markers, I got the ones that are called twins and they had a gray line on the side that is thin, Idk do only i have theese lines, I also really like the touch colourless blender, cause it mixes so good and the marker keeps it colourless colour 😂, I personaly preffer touch's.
I just use Prismacolor Differences are barely noticeable if not, its flat out the same For car design you’d be using chisel tips primarily anyway and not brush so I think Prismacolor is the way to go if you’re in that career path, but for portrait sketches and fluid lines I think they do have a brush marker variant for about 2/3 the price of copics For that I think they’re great value
Good lord the attitude in these comments. Guys, if you like the touch markers then good for you. Nowadays there are literally dozens of cheaper alcohol markers available to try out if you so wish. Geez, no one is forcing you to agree with her. :/ I've used copic sketch. I find them very user friendly in their design and I love how you can get refills for them (tho with the new ink refill product we'll see if that remains a more affordable option...). I the color coding system is easy to get used to, the distinct darker line for the brush end is very handy, and I love that you can buy replacement nibs without buying a whole new marker. The shape of them is nice too, I literally sat for several hours using them and it did not hurt my hand. Once thing I have a hard time finding: comparisons that really get into rendering and blending. I would love to see how these cheaper brands hold up with tons of blending and layering!
There are bullet tip versiond of the touch markers but with a black barrel instead and they're a little cheaper than the brush tip versions. In the store where I buy them,The brush tip versions run out pretty quickly while the bullet tips dont run out as much but they're a great replacement for copics since they dont sell them in where I am.

Sheila Mwebi I made this video because I wanted to show the difference and performance of these 2 very different and yet similar markers. People ask me which one is better because the touch are cheaper. So when I made the video I found it interesting for my viewers to not only compare the performance but also the design. People compare iPhones to Galaxys every now and then of course they don’t have to be the same but some people are also interested in that. 😊
The copies only have 1 head and the touch markers have 2 heads
