I heard nothing but praise from these guys for both Pit and Watt. They were saying he is a better fit at OLB in Pit than at RE in Dallas, they were being real. I respect that
72 sacks later and 1 DPOY so far! Taco Charleton who the Cowboys drafted instead was even on the roster for a few games last year before being released lol. Thanks from a Steelers fan!
Charlton wasn't released, they just let his contract run out, but I get what you're saying LOL. I agree. The Steelers were 2nd guessed by a lot of people, but it definitely worked out for us in the end. Thank you, Cowboys! TJ thanks you too!
maybe the best pick Dan Rooney never made. how can you pass up a Watt in the NFL draft? I'll bet that in 25 years, Kevin Colbert ll will pick TJ's first born in the first round, and the kid will blow up the league. just like dear ol' dad. Go Steelers!
One thing that the Steelers have done very well, going back to the Chuck Noll era, is to evaluate players and develop players into legitimate NFL talent. When a team fails to do that, it cannot win consistently: NY Jets being the prime example.
I mean they aren't wrong. If Dallas would've picked him and put him at RE then would've ruined a watts career. That's more embrassing then passing on him. Could you imagine tho if Dallas would've been smart enough to draft him as an OLB and pick up Parson a few years later. That would've been an incredible match up. I'm excited to see Myles Jack and TJ Watt on the same team.
This is the 2nd biggest draft day FU for my Cowboys. I was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu FN pissed when they announced Taco FN Charleton. I knew in my mind TJ was gonna have a star on his helmet. I still have not forgiven them for not picking him. The 1st time was when Randy Moss was on the board and we passed on him.

@@gdaigle9500now hes the sack leader for the steelers all time
The Rooney family is one of the biggest reasons why I'm a, Texas born and raised, Steelers fan since 1978-79.

They finally got to the point at the 4 minute mark @4:00 ... your welcome.
7 years and 100 sacks later.

they can have the name America's team we don't need the label we know who runs things
The radio announcer closest to the camera was rubbing the fuhk outta his eye brow sheesh 👀🤦🏿♂️
Y’all took “Taco”😂😂
Foster and Watt at the end of round 1, that doesn't happen very often
If they only knew
And now he'd be in the HOF if he retired today
Love it
The Packers passed on both University of Wisconsin Watts. Whaaaat?

If you watch football 3-4 olb is basically a DE especially in the Pitt
The great ones can play anywhere
Is FRANCO struggling to see?? Or read???
Cleveland really could have got Myles Garrett And TJ Watt in the same draft 🤦🏻♂️
To have a pick before us n still get a bust is funny
I worked with a cowboy's fan who said TJ would amount to nothing and would suck lmao
The worst 1st rd pick ever for Dallas is Taco Charlton.. I was praying Dallas drafted TJ Watt that year..
Browns got Garrett AAAAND the Chief that year. 2 future ring of honor guys.
Dallas should have paid him $50 million dollars a year
Front office...
Only thing you can draft is pretty girls who will be cheerleaders
Another Dallas Cowboys miss
Another every team miss! Heck we got him at 30!
Stephen Jones line one
Packers said hold my beer - could have had him next at 29
😂🤣 Dallas wishes they had Watt. Would love to see these guys smug little display today. Know nothings.
Jerry Jones throw Stephen Jones by this pick
Cowboys should have drafted Offensive Line would not be in the problem they are in now

They selected TJ Watt in the memory of Dan Rooney and man, what a pick that was #HEREWEGO ⚫️🟡🤞🏾 kudos to this staff because they knew it right away 💯
