9:00 that intersection is a nightmare during peak hour in the morning and the afternoon.
This video is based on a real driving test that took place on 01 September 2022 at Mirrabooka test centre at 1:50 PM
Oh, based? Thats the key word. Why isn't that in the title or description of this video?
Thanks for sharing. I will be having my PDA soon in Mirrabooka.😊
You are welcome! Practice in the area a lot
Your videos are very helpful. Thank you very much 😊
You're welcome 😊
I have my pda at mirrabooka at 7am tomorrow. Watched many videos from you and it’s a mirrabooka aswell. Wish me Luck
Good luck! You can do it, relax and take one task at a time. Let us know how you go!
They failed me after 30 minutes because I forgot to indicate out the round about when going right a few times
@@waffler9955 sorry to hear that
Hi can someone explain exact when that error was made.. I couldn’t see where about he should have waited for the white car coming at speed in the end
The video isn’t actually the students pov, it’s the driver instructor just imitating the route the student drove
Wow the WA test routes are so dead compared to Melbourne, this looks great.
Yeah, so easy here.
the trade off is that drivers have no idea what they're doing over here lol
Alexander Dr To Australis Ave To The Square MIRRABOOKA To Cottenwood
Correct
Very useful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful, you are welcome!
I’ve got my second driving test at Mirrabooka on Friday. If my car has a reverse camera can I use it?
Yes you can! Just don't overuse it, always check surroundings. I will shoot a video on proper observing soon. Good luck on Friday
@@DrivingSchoolWA Thanks
@@jakebarnes1234 No worries
Very helpful video mate.
Glad to hear! Cheers mate
@@DrivingSchoolWA Just a question, when steering, in the test, am I allowed to let the wheel slide in my hands when it countersteers after a turn?
@@atm31ac21 it's arguable one! I would say yes, because as long as you don't take both hands off steering wheel it should be okay (better than overcontroling it) but some assessors will mark you for vehicle management. Power steering is designed to make steering effortless, but some still argue you should push and pull to some extent. Feel free to give us a call for more specific info based on how you do it
@@DrivingSchoolWA I appreciate the help.
Your videos are great, I learnt to reverse park using 3 line method straight after I watched your video, now I get it 100% of the time.
@@atm31ac21 great to hear. Like everything else, more you do it the better you become at it
Hey are you able to upload a updated Rockingham route?
Hopefully in the next 30 days, we have it on the list
Why did the assessor have to use their brakes in a situation involving another vehicle approaching from the left during a right hand turn at a T-Junction? The student has already made the turn, hitting the brakes is a futile and dangerous act. Am I not seeing something correct?
What you are describing does not match what I'm seeing in the video.
Also, why is the student wearing a camera on his head? Is that the norm nowadays?
I'll shutup now. I'm just dribbling crap. lol
the video is a "re-enactment" the assessor stuck the go-pro on his head then drove through the same route with commentary added after.
@@penitent2401 Agreed. Unfortunately the description and title claims that it is a REAL driving test that we are watching. False advertising much?
Edit: Just read the OPs comment down below.... he admits it is BASED on a driving test.... yet the title and description of his video still claims that it IS a REAL driving test. Lol
i’ve read over the safe driving book many times and it never says that you have to indicate when merging on a form one lane as there is no line to cross. only need to indicate to merge one dotted line merging such as freeways with the “added lane” sign
you indicate when changing path, youre merging to 1 lane so youre changing your path
I believe the candidate did a horrible job in his test, good tips on what he did wrong (Candidate sucks). Good video.
He was nervous on his first attempt. He passed yesterday with clean sheet
A bit rude.. what made you make that disgusting comment
Is there a part in the WA test where the candidate is assessed for his or her ability to sit in the outside lane on a multi lane road for no reason, and refuse to move over? I've driven in Cuba, Thailand, Hong Kong, most of Europe, USA, Canada, New Zealand, and WA has hands down the worst drivers I have every come across. Merging? Pah. Keeping left? Bollocks. Letting people out of side roads? No chance.
The state government needs to make it mandatory for learners to obtain a minimum amount of professional tuition before they can sit a test. Instead of people getting taught to drive by mum/dad/Uncle Barry; when you have a situation where shit drivers-who were themselves taught by shit drivers-are teaching people to drive, it's not hard to see where the problem is.
the assessor's job is to make sure they can safely drive before they get the license, they passed the assessors showing that they CAN drive safe, after getting the license and reverting to the crap behaviour their mum/dad/uncle imprinted on them is down to the police, traffic cameras and enforcements. the problem is the really relaxed courts that keep letting those caught breaking the law another chance and keeping their license because they need to drive their kids to school. or just a slap on the wrist for driving on suspended or without license while blind drunk for the 100th time until they finally kills someone, even then it's a short sentence and maybe a year "disqualified from driving" which they will ignore yet again until they kills the next person.
