    Novel Synopsis:
When Vincent came back from Norway, he asked for a divorce.
I knew he wasn't on a business trip; he had gone to see the aurora borealis with his unforgettable first love.
His unforgettable first love was pregnant.
He knelt by my legs, groaning like a beast in pain: "Julianna, let's get a divorce."
I stroked my belly, tears streaming down my face.
Later, the unforgettable first love lost the baby.
    I aborted Vincent's child.
Lu's mother fainted at my door, crying, "Heaven is blind, the Lu family line is ending!"
Later, Vincent said: "Julianna, I love you, but I can no longer give you happiness…"

She got all that money & chose to stay in the same city...😒 I would've gone traveling not giving a shit about him or anyone else. The fact that these FL never have the balls to argue their point against the ML. Not all women are this weak

Well, karma played a bit weird in this drama, but the cheating ex is dead, but he saved his ex-wife in that car accident. It's up to Julianna if she forgives him, but i think she just gave up. Being mad wasn't going to help her, so she decided to go numb and give up. The mistress (let's not forget she was cheating while still married as well) lost the MLs baby, but her karma wasn't complete. She was sent packing to go abroad with half the MLs assets and wasn't even married to him. She had only been pregnant with their affair baby for a few months. It's strange how the FL isn't worried about becoming infertile. I think she's just staying numb to keep from feeling pain or dating again. She doesn't want that trouble anymore. I don't believe she realizes how much this toxic marriage, pregnancy/abortion, and affair have taken their toll. She's gone through too much for her to process it all. It is ironic that the ex turned out after the divorce to be impotent, except with his ex-wife, losing both babies, and then dying. Hr ended up childless. I don't feel sorry for him. Karma dealt him a bad hand for cheating. Karma is not kind or can be reasoned with.

The ending is really a let down. They are finally having the conversation they should have had at the beginning of the story then BAM and car accident leaves all the questions unanswered. FL also gets amnesia so she no longer even wants the answers. Disappointing.

I want a part two even though I know there isn't going to be one but they just left us with a hanger, Would the douche ex survive? What was he going to say about the baby? Will the main character find someone else? Would the X keep falling for that Sneaky Snakes trap? WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING!!!? and The question I want to know the most why is only after she leaves why do you only want a start loving her? kind of want to know all these

Why is abortion always used as retribution in these stories? I am pro-choice, but it definitely makes me sad when embryos and fetuses are used as bargaining chips and payback

I would rather see her have the baby and leave happily somewhere far away instead of her using the abortion just to provoke her husband..she did it so impulsively and makes it so unrealistic I don’t enjoy those kind of stories personally

I like that she can't have babies. That's qhat she gets for being selfish. Her excuse was bcos she didn't want the child to have a life like she did growing up. She didn't think that she could raise the child to be strong & not allow others to hurt them etc...

Yeah?? Why should she? And what crime did that kid do to be forced to live in a screwed up world and family life right from start?????
It's a nonsense idea to think babies are somehow looking forward to coming down and living a likely hard life - did they ask to be born to a single mom, a cheating dad, a hard life with a single or mixed family and identity struggles?
Ridiculous notions taught by Abrahamic religions!

There's an old saying, "Not all lives are saved by being born." Julianna had a bitter and hard childhood without parents or anyone to keep her bullies away except when her ex. She didn't want her child to suffer like she did. She also didn't want them to have an absentee father who had another woman and another child.

Please use your empathy toward FL's sad teenage year...being bullied just because she doesn't has a father. Even she pleading to her husband after tell him about her pregnancy, he do not even bother. So i understand ...why she doesn't want her child repeat the same cycle like her😢

Children aren’t considered precious life to be protected and cherished. They’re just heirs or assets that will take care of you when you grow old because there’s no social security in the country

Children being judged because they are illigitimate or lack one of parents or even are orphans - I hardly understand that any culture would be so harsh. A century ago it might be, but nowadays? In my country, by last statistic, more than 50% of kids are born to copules that are not officially married. Actually less people marry than live together withouth certificate. Me too, for 27 years now and have three kids. I asked them if they were ever influenced in any way and they said they weren't. In my family we already have a second generation of couples that aren't getting married but live together. The law followed long ago and all kids have same legal rights, of married or unmarried parents. That's why it really baffles me how children can still be ostricised because of their parent's marital status. I would only abort a child if I really didn't want it but never because of the fear of being socially rejected.

@@zdem8259it’s still a thing in many countries. This channel is run by Chinese (it’s just the trope and story style that give it away) and in China it’s a thing. Even in Korea it is stigmatized. They think having kids out of wedlock is shameful. Men are expected to marry the women in that case. If they don’t, people will assume it’s because the men couldn’t - as in the men already have wives.
