Do Kyungsoo is just incredible in every sense. He is one of the few vocalists who can make your heart flutter and cause a storm of emotions. He manages his deep voice and sweet timbre with such ease that the same part can sound completely different "starting very roughly and ending unrealistically gently". Kyungsoo's unique voice gives each song a unique charm. I'm ready to listen to his voice as much as I want.! Even when Kyungsoo just speaks, he wants to listen and listen to endlessly, such a pleasant voice.

For example, in the Korean version you see Chen throw a beam of light which is an example of them using their powers. Chen has the power to control lightning so he tossed a lightning bolt to Lay who has the power of healing. Lay is the only one who could have caught that light beam without being injured because Lay has the power of healing and he can heal himself. So, the story in the MV is pretty much the members trying to summon their powers to try and escape from the maze.The box that D.O. had at the beginning of the MV was full of dirt. D.O.'s superpower is the power of earth or dirt and it gives him super strength, so he was using the sand to build his strength back up. The other members were also trying to use their powers of teleportation, fire, light, etc. In the beginning when you see the EXO-K members making that picture while standing on each other, they are forming their hexagon symbol which is EXO's official symbol. (In the M version, you will notice it's different members.) The different sets you see, are thought to be different rooms within the maze, or maybe alternate realities or time periods created by the Red Force to lure the EXO members to them. Also something to note, you see Kai in the beginning and end of the MV in the Korean version because he is the center and visual of EXO-K. However, in the Mandarin version you will see Luhan fills that same role because he is the center and visual of EXO-M. Plus, Kai and Luhan were each others' power counterparts as well. So this establishes the connections between EXO-K and EXO-M. Kai and Luhan were supposed to have a bond that connected the two groups and made them one as part of EXO's storyline. How EXO worked back when they were split up into the two groups was that all the members were in both MVs, but the K members were featured more prominently in the K version of the song and the M members were featured in the M version. As you saw, in the EXO-K version of "Overdose" the K members sing the main parts of the song and they are the first group of 6 you see. (When you see them revisit the same sets in the MV the group you see is the 6 EXO-M members.) If you watch the Mandarin version, you will see the M members take over the main parts of the song and the K members are the ones you see second. So, even when the MVs look the same, they will always be slightly different because the members are assigned different parts in each MV. For example, in the Korean version, the EXO-K rappers (Chanyeol and Sehun) are the ones that are part of the rap section. If you watch the Mandarin version, you will see Kris, Xiumin and Tao are the rappers because they are EXO-M's rappers. Tao is also the martial artist of the group, so he is the one that does the flips and stunts in EXO's routines. And the main vocal parts and high notes are done by Baekhyun in the Korean version, but in the Mandarin version that part is Chen's because he is EXO-M's main vocalist, etc. At the end of the MV we discover that the maze has only one way in and no way out. Which I think is meant to represent and mirror the fact that they are saying they are trapped by love and once you are in there is no way out. The maze was also EXO's logo for this album and it is shaped like EXO's hexagon symbol. Although, in the song they're not overdosing on anything except love. As the English lines in the song say: "So bad, no one can stop her ... her love, her love (is) fantasy ... Oh she wants me, Oh she's got me ... Oh she hurts me ... someone call the doctor ... (her love makes me) overdose ... too much of your love makes me overdose ... too much overdose ... You're in my heart ... with you I can't stop", etc. This song is kind of a love song about how powerful love can be that it feels like no matter how much you try to resist it you keep getting pulled back in like a drug. However, for the storyline in the MV there might be a little more at play than just being drugged by love. Some theories say that the story in "Overdose" is connected to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Overdose" the members get trapped in the maze and they can't find their way out. The red light represents the Red Force who have trapped them in the maze. It is thought that the maze causes the members to get disoriented and sort of become incapacitated so they are unable to defend themselves. The maze dulls their senses and makes it so they lose the ability to use their powers at full strength, etc. The theory speculates that sometime after the end of the "Overdose" MV, EXO gets captured or transferred from the maze and brought to the government facility by the Red Force and that is why we see them in a hospital-like setting in their "Lucky One" MV. In the story in the "Lucky One" MV the members are drugged and they are being experimented on to discover what makes them so special. In "Lucky One" the members use their powers to break free from the facility. And this is where some theories connect the story in "Lucky One" to the story in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV. One theory is that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" is them trying to detox from the drugs they were given in the government facility in "Lucky One" and the blue Ko Ko Bop drink Suho mixes and the members drink is supposed to counteract the effects of the drugs in their system. That is why they act so out of it and in a drugged state in "Ko Ko Bop." As you can see all of the stories in EXO's MVs are connected. We just have to pay close attention to every detail and put the pieces together. "Overdose" came out in 2014 and this is one of the last MVs where all 12 members are part of the song and MV. (Kris left the group right after this MV was released and Luhan will leave within the next 6 months.) You should watch the Mandarin versions of "Overdose," as well. :D If you watch EXO-M's version of "Overdose" you will understand why we say even though they may seem like they are similar MVs, there are distinct differences between the Korean and Mandarin versions that are important to EXO's storyline. Plus, I think you may even enjoy the Mandarin version of the song just as much, or more.

To explain you what is exo-k/exo-m you need to know that exo debuted in 2012 with 12 members and they had a concept of two sub units. The exo-k unit had: suho, sehun, kai, baekhyun, d.o and chanyeol and they were singing in Korean. The exo-m unit were singing the same songs as the Korean unit but they were singing in Chinese and it had: kris, luhan, lay, xiumin, chen and Tao( only xiumin and Chen are Korean in the Chinese sub unit and the rest are Chinese). In 2013 SM entertainment (their company) decided to do some full group songs such as: wolf, growl and overdose. In 2014 two Chinese members (kris and luhan) left exo because of personal reasons such as unfair treatment from their company. In 2015 one more Chinese member left exo (tao) because of personal reasons and in that point exo stayed as nine members (eight korean members and one Chinese member and his name is lay). From 2015 their company decided that exo will be a full group with no exo k/ exo m though exo still did their main title song in both versions of Korean and Chinese because they have a lot of Chinese fans

The line distribution and screen time are different in the two versions of the songs so in exo-k mvs you will see the members in the unit a lot more and their lines are more, but in the exo-m version you will see the members in the unit more, until the 3 Chinese members who left ( all of them were in the Exo-m unit ) it was left for 3 members in the Exo-m and 6 in Exo-k so they all start to promots as “ exo “ not for the units anymore. And the main vocal parts and high notes are done by Baekhyun in the Korean version, but in the Mandarin version that part is Chen's because he is EXO-M's main vocalist, etc.
At the end of the MV we discover that the maze has only one way in and no way out. Which I think is meant to represent and mirror the fact that they are saying they are trapped by love and once you are in there is no way out. The maze was also EXO's logo for this album and it is shaped like EXO's hexagon symbol.
Although, in the song they're not overdosing on anything except love. As the English lines in the song say: "So bad, no one can stop her ... her love, her love (is) fantasy ... Oh she wants me, Oh she's got me ... Oh she hurts me ... someone call the doctor ... (her love makes me) overdose ... too much of your love makes me overdose ... too much overdose ... You're in my heart ... with you I can't stop", etc. This song is kind of a love song about how powerful love can be that it feels like no matter how much you try to resist it you keep getting pulled back in like a drug.
However, for the storyline in the MV there might be a little more at play than just being drugged by love. Some theories say that the story in "Overdose" is connected to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Overdose" the members get trapped in the maze and they can't find their way out. The red light represents the Red Force who have trapped them in the maze. It is thought that the maze causes the members to get disoriented and sort of become incapacitated so they are unable to defend themselves. The maze dulls their senses and makes it so they lose the ability to use their powers at full strength, etc.
The theory speculates that sometime after the end of the "Overdose" MV, EXO gets captured or transferred from the maze and brought to the government facility by the Red Force and that is why we see them in a hospital-like setting in their "Lucky One" MV. In the story in the "Lucky One" MV the members are drugged and they are being experimented on to discover what makes them so special. In "Lucky One" the members use their powers to break free from the facility. And this is where some theories connect the story in "Lucky One" to the story in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV. One theory is that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" is them trying to detox from the drugs they were given in the government facility in "Lucky One" and the blue Ko Ko Bop drink Suho mixes and the members drink is supposed to counteract the effects of the drugs in their system. That is why they act so out of it and in a drugged state in "Ko Ko Bop."
As you can see all of the stories in EXO's MVs are connected. We just have to pay close attention to every detail and put the pieces together.
"Overdose" came out in 2014 and this is one of the last MVs where all 12 members are part of the song and MV. (Kris left the group right after this MV was released and Luhan will leave within the next 6 months.)
You should watch the Mandarin versions of "Overdose," as well. :D If you watch EXO-M's version of "Overdose" you will understand why we say even though they may seem like they are similar MVs, there are distinct differences between the Korean and Mandarin versions that are important to EXO's storyline.
Plus, I think you may even enjoy the Mandarin version of the song just as much, or more.

EXO -M is an exo subunit in charge for Mandarin version of their songs.
EXO-K is another exo subunit in charge for Korean version of their songs. Even when 3 of 4 Chinese members left, they still produce Chinese versions of their songs (last chinese MV was Love shot) and last chinese title tract without MV was Obsession.

To explain you what is exo-k/exo-m you need to know that exo debuted in 2012 with 12 members and they had a concept of two sub units. The exo-k unit had: suho, sehun, kai, baekhyun, d.o and chanyeol and they were singing in Korean. The exo-m unit were singing the same songs as the Korean unit but they were singing in Chinese and it had: kris, luhan, lay, xiumin, chen and Tao( only xiumin and Chen are Korean in the Chinese sub unit and the rest are Chinese). In 2013 SM entertainment (their company) decided to do some full group songs such as: wolf, growl and overdose. In 2014 two Chinese members (kris and luhan) left exo because of personal reasons such as unfair treatment from their company. In 2015 one more Chinese member left exo (tao) because of personal reasons and in that point exo stayed as nine members (eight korean members and one Chinese member and his name is lay). From 2015 their company decided that exo will be a full group with no exo k/ exo m though exo still did their main title song in both versions of Korean and Chinese because they have a lot of Chinese fans

EXO were first divided into two groups. EXO-K promoted in Korean and EXO-M promoted in Mandarin. When 3 chinese members left, it became one group called EXO.
PS: The fandom's name is EXO-L because L stands for "Love" but also because L came between K & M.
1. There are only 9 members now. 3 of the Chinese members left the group.
2.The current active members that have returned from service are D.O. and Xiumin (shoo-min). Active members that still have to leave are Kai and Sehun. Two inactive members who left this year for military are Chanyeol and Baekhyun. The leader Suho and Chen return to active status next year. Lay is the only Chinese member so will not be inactive due to military.
3. Lay is "inactive" due to issues between S. Korea and China so he stays in China and does music through a company there. (Lay was the member that was green screened in for the DFTF video.)
4.Since they started with 12 members, they performed in two groups. Exo-M performed in Korean and Exo-M performed in Mandarin (Chinese). That's where our fandom name comes in. The letter L is between K and M in the alphabet. When there were 12, they did music videos for both sub-units. Now EXO performs mostly in Korean with alternate versions of some songs in other languages.
Exo is korean-Chinese group ! It’s the units of exo, it’s exo-K ( for the korean ) and exo-m ( for the mandarin ) . In another way exo-k the Korean unit who promoted in korea and exo-m the Chinese unit who promoted in china . So why there’s two music videos with the same 12 members? Let me explain it. The line distribution and screen time are different in the two versions of the songs so in exo-k mvs you will see the members in the unit a lot more and their lines are more, but in the exo-m version you will see the members in the unit more, until the 3 Chinese members who left ( all of them were in the Exo-m unit ) it was left for 3 members in the Exo-m and 6 in Exo-k so they all start to promots as “ exo “ not for the units anymore. Even after that Exo didn’t stop releasing Chinese mvs until recently. I talk too much omg.. annnyway i hole u understand what I explain without getting lost in middle of my maze the same way exo did in overdose mv 🥰 hope u like exo more!

Exo debuted with two subunits Exo-k and Exo-m. Each subunit has 6 members. Exo-k sang songs in Korean and Exo-m sang songs in mandarin ( Chinese ). Unfortunately 3 members of Exo-m left the band for different reasons. After them leaving the band both Exo-m and Exo-k got united it called Exo. Suho( Exo-k's leader ), baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O. , Kai and sehun were in Exo-k. Kris ( Exo-m's leader) , xiumin, luhan, Lay, Chen and Tao. Kris and luhan left the band in 2014 and Tao left the band in 2015. And suho became the Exo's leader.

Overdose is my first EXO song it truly is a BOP. Also When EXO had 12 members they were split K- for Korean M- for Mandarin so they did albums in Korean and Mandarin lol long story short after 3 Chinese members left they just became EXO. 9 members and Lay is the only chinese member left. So they do only the title tracks In mandarin now instead of a whole album like before.
