They are both just gorgeous! I've never tried that sleeve option, but now you've made me want to try it on my next Rhapsody. You really made both the fabrics and pattern shine. Great work!
The top looks lovely in that fabric. And the dress is great with that neckline. I agree the v-neck is fiddly. I made my first Rhapsody as sleeveless in a double gauze (and the binding was not easy in that fabric!), but my next one was going to be that long sleeve with the flutter. I have some lovely viscose challis that I think would be perfect. It will be for a special 'do' later in the year, and I might even consider the dress rather than a top. I must try and get some of that spray starch.
Love your Rhapsody makes Christine. I got out the Rhapsody pattern only this morning as I wanted to try it in August. I was thinking I’d make a top but your dress version is gorgeous! Thank you for all your sewing tips in making these. Really appreciated 🤗
Your top looks lovely on you. When you showed your dress on, I was blown away! You look fabulous! Jeanine did well sending her tried and true pattern. It sounds like it worked out very well for you.
The top in the fabric from Toulon is as beautiful as I expected. The dress is just lovely, Christine! I have the pattern ready but will be channeling my inner hippie with some old fabric I've had for 40 years. I don't know how it's not disintegrated. It has aged better than I. - Kelly
Both the top and dress are beautiful. I, too, love the rhapsody by Love Notions and have made two so far. I haven’t made the dress version yet though. Good job. 🎉
Love your top and dress! They're both lovely! I've made three dresses and two or three tops from the Rhapsody pattern. It's one of my favorites. I love Love Notions Patterns. I've bought a lot of them. I've made things for my granddaughter from them and even made the North Star Pullover for my husband last Christmas. He's very particular and has always found something just a little off in every garment I've ever made for him so doesn't end up wearing them but he loves his North Star. Hi Christine! It's so funny hearing you call your dress form 'Rita', since that is my name. I love it, haha! The changes you made to the top for the dress version made me fall in love with it! I absolutely think the dress is stunning, in design and fabric. I've only had one flop with Love Notion Patterns, and the rest have been pretty successful. They are very generous in their included options, just like your top and when you subscribe to their site, you also get offers on new patterns every Friday for $5 USD.
@@ritaadler-everett5392 that must be weird, like I’m talking to you! I’m happier with the graded v neck and it’s a much better finish with a front facing.xxx

Beautiful top and dress, perfect style for you. Do you think the top would suit a cotton fabric? When I first saw you, you really reminded me of someone and I couldn't think who. Then a light bulb went off this morning! It's Lulu, the British singer. I think she is so pretty, especially in the movie To Sir With Love!
Love this pattern on you ❤I’ve made the dress and two blouses as I really like this style but although slightly tight across the bottom of the yoke they keep falling off my shoulders completely 😮don’t know what to do about that as when put on it fits well on shoulders 😬
