You're so spot on about his rhyme style. It's super fast and PRECISE. It's almost hard to keep up because of the speed but every word is pronounced with perfection so you have no excuse. Talent. Before this he was part of a group. LEADERS OF THE NEW SCHOOL. He was the stand-out of the four. You knew he was going to go on to something bigger. But they made great records too.
This was a parody of the first Coming To America, and yes Bussa Buss was a friggin MAD MAN OFF DA CHAIN! Before Andre 3000 and Outkast, it was Busta Rhymes and the Leaders of the New School. Very similar.
Busta be bustin'...but that beat! that throbbing tempo...be ON POINT! His rhymes are killa' and his flow is stellar! He is so under rated! This particular cut is Solid Gold!!
i truly feel blessed, i was born 76, and have grown up in such a golden age of music across so many genres, rock, metal, rave, hiphop etc. absolutely love Busta, enjoyed his music videos as much as enjoying the Rhymes and music. it amazes me how people don't know certain musicians, i have to remind myself that not everyone grew up the same time as me haha.
NOBODY has a flow like Busta. It's so unique. He's definitely slept on. I met him once in person in Brooklyn outside of a bagel shop, he couldn't have been nicer. Good call on the Missy Elliot video comparison. I don't really care for the video style, but I see the connection especially with the camera zoom In's.
Om right with you not to many know about the disaster strikes album im glad im not the only one dont forget so hardcore that was another great one busta def my fav rapper
Buster started out with a group called Leaders of the New School a song called Case of the PTA was one of their earliest hits when he went solo is when his career took off
Hype Williams is THE videographer of late 90's/early 2000's hip-hop. His signature style is based on the massive use of fisheye lenses and very high contrast photography.
Girl I got some Busta Rhymes for you trust the kid Busta Rhymes I Know What You Want and it's a party both of these Beats do something to when you in a club or house party that feel when you dancing I love Busta Dancing in the video It's a Party check it out

It's amazing how he made the song radio/tv friendly without making it hit any less than this version.
the video was based on the "coming to America" movie ....
Yo! One of my favourite Busta-songs! But as far as the video goes, yes it's gold - but please look in to the Hype Williams history...
