I can relate - I use a 4" heel with wooden underarm crutches. I lost my left leg at the knee after college but have gotten crutching in a heel down to a science!
I also can relate; I had a long cast almost a year then my leg was taken off at mid-thigh in 2006. Even before the accident where my leg was crushed, I wore four-inch heels routinely even now with my crutches. Thanks for sharing.

@@Sparklefootgirl Yes, really a great idea: Bent 90 or more degrees in the knee plus a maximally overstretched foot position would be great. This leg cast is then attached to the pelvis in a 90 degree position as a combination with a Hip Spica cast or even as a Minerva upper body cast. Wow --- the dream of all dreams ... Such a large cast will certainly not be particularly comfortable, but hope you can still achieve this because you are very brave. Huge respect !!!

If really want to show what people with disabilities go through on a daily basis. You will try to make a video with you in a leg cast as well as your arm. And don't try to use crutches. Use a wheelchair to get around.
