Helfrich got fired for not being able to recruit. Taggert didn’t get fired, rather, he left to coach at his Alma Mater. So, three college coaches for Herbert and he got none of them fired.
Lynn got fired because he can’t manage the clock. At all. Absolutely worst clock manager in the NFL. He didn’t get fired because of Herbert. Staley was fired for being a defensive minded head coach with defenses in the bottom three the whole time he was there. He didn’t get fired because he couldn’t “unlock” Justin’s Herbert. He got fired because he couldn’t disguise his defensive coverages.
Of the THREE head coaches that were fired while they had Herbert as their QB, none of them have proved to be successful head coaches elsewhere. Or even head coaches at all. This narrative that Herbert is a coach killer is beyond stupid. The actual truth is that Herbert has had his share of bad luck when it comes to working under coaches who are not very good head coaches.
Call me up when either Mark Helfrich, Anthony Lynn, or Brandon Staley become good head coaches. Those are the three who lost their jobs while Herbert was their QB.
Staley and Lynn had ZERO business being head coaches in the NFL.
Can he read defensive stats? Telling the whole story? Herbert is the only reason they won

Craig has a very important super astute observation. All those different coordinators, head coaches and systems for Herbert shows that he's likely the problem... has to be. Charger's bottom ranked defense and bottom ranked offensive run game didn't help Herbert, but that's no excuse. I would much rather have Jarrett Stidham as my QB than Herbert. Wait, he IS my quarterback cause I love the Broncos.
