@@darkhawk574 I was baffled how much of a pushover he ended up beings against lightning arrow+rods+rain of arrows deadeye ranger and I struggled more against Janmara. It was a super cinematic and fun fight tho.
@@aleksihakli1125 I'd love to know what you're doing that I'm not. Lightning arrow/rods aren't doing nearly enough damage before I get caught in one of the inevitable one shots.
If you plan on keep playing this ona (which I do recommend it's an incredibly fun game), a few things I learned from experience that are really useful early game Exalted orbs are like the game's currency, so if you want to trade in the future that's probably gonna be how. The game is pretty generous in giving them out after each big boss and sometimes even random enemies or elites drop them If you're looking for upgrades to your weapons and gear and are not having much luck with the drops, check your vendors, the npc actually sell fire gear and they update at least once per level up, I've gotten most of my super op stuff from the npcs, they sell yellow items everynow and then and they're ridiculously good You'll be able to respec soon, it just costs gold Your stash can be shared with future characters you might create, so if you get a staff for a sorcerer and you don't need it, you might want to put it in the stash for a future character you want. Same with other type of gear
General tipp, in Poe not the classes determine the abilities you can use rather the weapons do. if you want to go big bonk witch go for it or a spell weaving warrior. there are ways to make it work. thats in my opinion the beauty of poe.
@@Todesnuss I wouldn't say it's lying given that ascendancies still lean towards those skill archetypes on a basic level, keeps things simple for new players going in completely blind with a predetermined play-style in mind. Once in the game itself it doesn't hide the fact any class can use anything and you learn this before you progress through the first couple of bosses if you read the tutorials.
@@Todesnuss it doesnt, your character still has its archetypes depending on starting location in the passive tree and ascendancies. The point is you arent limited to just those.
Excuse my hyperbole then. It's definitely misleading enough that a lot of new players will take a while to realise their skills are tied to their weapons.
@@TodesnussAnd that’s fine, it’s honestly better then throwing the new player out there with no recommended skills gems. It’s a design that aim toward newer players Johnathan Roger said this I think.
Been wanting to watch a playthrough of this game for a while, but they're all very in depth for something to watch as entertainment. Excited to see more from you!
I would love to see a full playthrough of this man. It would be fun to see you experiment about the builds and all that. Also I think its worth to follow the story since it explains a lot on what's happening around the world. Hope you have fun myth
Would love a series of this game! One of those things that you can really sink your teeth into and enjoy at your pace. Also, I'm sure you're probably aware of this by now, but yeah, +# to level of skill gems is by far the best stat to look for while leveling at least, and typically in end game too. Good choice on the staff!
False information, build starts around level 30-40 then the planning goes into the later levels for the nodes you want. Ascendacy matters If your planning or working a build at 70+ then idk what to tell you
@@zonedout3390 Yes you are right. My point was, you really don't see what the game offers before you really get into maps and it all opens up. I have two lvl 96 characters that clear everything in the game and just want people to get that proud feeling of beating it all!
I'd definitely love to see you do more videos of this. Though, if you feel you don't want to full on detail your campaign, I'd recommend maybe making other videos when big updates drops...and they're gonna be huge. Right now, the game has 6 out of 12 classes and you can choose between 2 ascendancies per class when there are gonna be 3 at full release. This means that right now there are 12 ascendancies that later will become 36! Also, as of now, the 2nd part of the campaign after Act 3 is a temporary Cruel difficulty...which also means that by the time the game releases there are going to be 3 other Acts that are going to be added to the campaign and will replace cruel. These acts will likely be introduced alongside new classes, new skill/spirit/support Gems, new items and uniques and present new environments, monsters, bosses and mechanics. The endgame is also barebones as of now and needs a fair bit of tuning which means, in the immediate future, you can expect patches to change stuff around and, in the coming months, more patches that will add more to that side of the game, too. Overall, to quote streamers like Darthmicrotransaction, the game, as of now, is the worst it will ever be, with more feedback it'll keep becoming more and more engaging and fair and with new patches the content is going to massively scale up...and that is just up to launch.
Would absolutely love a series!! Been addicted to this game since the EA dropped -- Pretty much felt the same when it came to your comments about diablo as well, not much of an ARPG guy myself and this game has me hooked!
I would love to see you playing everything. But, I think that the 3 avaible campaign acts are filled with crazy moments and incredible boss fights, would be great for a little series on the channel!
please continue playing there is so much awesome game left for you to enjoy ive been watching for years and i love the content ngl i was sad at first when you swapped from smite to variety but it was the best thing you could have done and ive enjoyed every minute of it keep up the good times cause i know youre making a difference
Hey Myth! the shops get new items every time you level up, also love the content! just got lvl 66 on my witch yesterday, super fun game tho sometimes without a "good build" you might get stuck and have to farm for some gear or lvls here and there, especially on melee classes
Really good Video, please do a video when the game releases with all it's content this year sometime. I think GGG is one of the only companies I think will overdeliver on launch than they have promised.
I would do SO MUCH for you to make a series out of this, I love you and I love this game (I already got 220 hours in this game lol) and this video feels like sent from the heavens Also, if I was to give you 1 tip for the game, it would be that if you go right-click on an 'uncut support gem', on the bottom left you can uncheck 'show recommended gems' and a wholeeeee new door opens for the game! On default, they just show you 3 supported gems so that it isn't too overwhelming which is of course good, but since this game is soooo diverse there are a ton of other support gems that could help you out wayyyy more than the recommended gems, so even tho everything can be a bit overwhelming at first, I can really only recommend unchecking this box and take a look around
Just finished act 3 and absolutely loved it. Had to constantly combine skills in order to do damage instead of just keeping a button held down. Some parts felt daunting to explore regarding skill trees and weapon development. Exploring the skill tree felt easier after I read my skills and used the search function to find the stats I wanted, just went from there :)
If you want to pre-plan your passive skill points you can use the search bar to look for specific passives to go for. ie if you are using a minion build you can search minion and all the minion passives in the large skill tree will light up. The size of the skill tree can come off intimidating, but it is easy to figure out if given a few minutes. I think Shadow is one of the classes, but not yet implemented into the game. I think the next two are going to be huntress and druid. One uses spears and the other uses shapeshifting forms.
Would love to see you do more of this. I love all the content creators who play this game in try-hard-mode and make guides for this game and whatever. But I would love to see you play this game for longer because I feel like your experience would mirror the experience of a "normal" guy more. Ya know what I mean?
Yo, i'd love to see more. Literally was checking your channel yesterday, thinking, has he not played poe2, did i miss it? Was quite sad to see you didnt play it yet, feels like it's something right up your alley. Later bosses get crazy. Would be very fun to at least finish the acts, could be great fun in coop too.
21:06, you can get another skill that helps you build this, but its only until late game, this class is so fun, wait until you get the bell. That's when it's gg
It's nice to watch someone play through the game that's not already really well-versed in how everything functions, I think your take on the game would be great to watch, to see what you like and dislike and how you approach the various problems you come across.
Few quick tips: If you're enjoying the game definitely keep going, you're about 25ish% through act 1, the boss of that act is one of the coolest designs in the game, if you're having a blast now you'll love that one. Since you found the regal shard: hold ALT while mousing over an item so the description stays open, you can mouse over any words with an underscore to check what they do, regal shards let you see what regal orbs do that way. Power Charges are the meta way to play monks right now, there's a very easy and convenient way to get them consistently later without thinking about it but it's not something that will naturally be suggested to you, trust the comments to let you know when you get there though For respeccing passives you're just about to get the ability to, that's the next step of the main quest. You'll need to pay some gold per passive, the amount scales with your character level. Your basic attack will be the best way to do single target for a while, a bunch of classes are currently lacking strong "main skills" early on, you'll get something much better eventually though
I just got into Last Epoch, and while I'm well aware that their different games, I would like to think we're playing together in a way, so I hope you'd keep playing :)
