I remember as a kid getting off the bus right before 4pm, and fixing some popcorn and sitting in front of the Tv every weekday at 4 and watching Power Rangers and VR Troopers came on after PowerRangers. RIP to the Green Ranger. Aswell to the Yellow Ranger
As a Power Rangers fan, here's the context: In the 5-part "Green With Evil" mini-arc, Tommy comes in as the new kid in school, immediately ends in a karate fight with Jason the red ranger, getting friendly with him. Meanwhile, Rita Repulsa and the gang choose Tommy to be their evil Green Ranger so while in the suit, our boy Tommy absolutely washes the rangers (with help from Goldar and Scorpina) and trashes the Command Center, cutting off contact with Zordon. Rita also gifts Tommy the Sword Of Darkness. Also, Tommy teleports Jason to the Dark Dimension behind Jason's back and he has to escape while fighting off Goldar (it's why the team battled Tommy without him. This happens in Parts 1, 2 and 3. It isn't until Part 4 when the rangers figure out the green ranger's identity is Tommy. They realise that Tommy has been brainwashed and try to help him. In Part 5, Tommy summons the Dragonzord like this is the Yu-Gi-Oh version of Godzilla until the Megazord straight-up defeats Dragonzord with a Bowser swing Mario-style. Then in the final fight, Jason manages to defeat Tommy and destroy the Sword Of Darkness, breaking Rita's spell and Tommy is now part of the team.
If I recall some of the fight choreo footage is footage from the Japanese Sentai counterpart, which is Zyurangers at the time, which also aired a year or more earlier than MMPR.
This show came from some show based in Japan, and most of the footage like the fight scenes where just copied from the Japan show and put into Power Rangers
He got brainwashed by Rita and worked for her. In the Japanese version Zyuranger, he worked alone and wanted revenge. His story's a lot more tragic in that version.
You missed the point bro, they WERE trying to jump him. Bro literally 1v5’d them he was just him. Moving too fast, doing feints (like wtf nobody in PR does feints) and he’s easily better than the other Rangers. Makes sense they can’t jump him
It's weird watching people react to videos with no awareness. Yes... they attack 1 by 1... just like in every martial art and superhero film and tv series to this day. The graphics were horrible... dude. It was the 90's... and what? a year after Jurassic park came out? Meaning that the CGI and visual effect was from the 80s. Come on now; when this show aired - those graphics were considered amazing. Especially since they were on tv and not in a movie.
@@Geminias I think it’s even weirder complaining in the comments when no one forced you to watch it. Also no awareness? If you had watched the video you would’ve known that I used to watch Power Rangers clown. So what if it was the 90s? People can’t have an opinion about how they used to fight in their shows and movies? Shut up dude
Power rangers with Ivan Ooze is legendary!
RIP JDF 😢

They always came thru after school shows
The power rangers random explosions always got me rolling
Fight still look impressive. I dont see how it looks awful. Practical effects, good choreography
The fight in the older seasons still look great
The great Thomas Oliver. Rip Jason David Frank the green, white, red, black and gold ranger
He was never the Gold Ranger. You're thinking of Jason, the og Red Ranger
@LatinGiudo817 In Dino Thunder he came back and wore black and gold as Dr. Thomas Oliver. He was a teaching professor at an older age
Bro the show old they didn’t have the crazy special effects we do now for what they had this was fire

Tommy is THE ranger. RIP goat
Tommy Oliver was the character's name, he was played by Jason David Frank, who sadly died in 2022

Tommy was mind controlled by Rita.
Scorpina was only in a few episodes because Sentai footage.
Then they brought her back for just 1 episode lol
Ngl the green ranger is on demon time and he didn't even change the settings
Like ain't no way he can jump 300 feet
Then he hit air an broke the megazord
This show is so ridiculous it’s perfection
6:19 Jason David Frank was Tommy Oliver/Green Ranger/White Ranger/Red Zeo Ranger/Black Ranger
This show came from some show based in Japan, and most of the footage like the fight scenes where just copied from the Japan show and put into Power Rangers
He only grabbed the black rangers leg in the Sentai version. They cut that part in the American version
He got brainwashed by Rita and worked for her. In the Japanese version Zyuranger, he worked alone and wanted revenge. His story's a lot more tragic in that version.
At first the Green Ranger was under a mind control spell from Rita at first. He joins them only after the spell gets broken.
12:05 ay man, a win is a win l_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_l
