    Great video, Leah! You emphasized the importance of preserving the quality of designs by choosing the right file formats, and this really resonated with me. However, I’ve encountered a significant limitation with Printify that undermines this goal for large format products like canvas and poster prints. Despite following best practices, the current file size limit of 100MB for web and 30MB via API restricts the ability to use high-quality PNG files necessary for detailed, large-scale outputs. For example, a 48" x 32" canvas at 300 DPI requires a PNG file way over the 100MB limit. The only workaround is converting these images to JPG and since I am using your API to automate the product creation process, I am forced to compress them even further to meet the API’s 30MB limit, which compromises the quality and contradicts the advice to use high-resolution files to avoid pixelation and blurriness.
    This limitation not only hinders the creation of high-quality large products but also forces users like me to deviate from the best practices you've outlined. Could this be addressed in future updates or perhaps in a discussion about file size considerations for high-quality product outputs?

    There's one more important thing you should add here:
    Order a designers copy; it's usually cheaper and it gives you a hands on feel & look at the product before you release it. As a bonus it gives you the opportunity to take pictures of YOU wearing or using your own products. People don't really like drop shipping or print on demand (POD) nonsense because the creator usually doesn't even know if it's any good and it feels like a cash grab to the customer.

    I did 2 white designs, and both came out yellow? Printify sent me a replacement and still is yellow…? Are all white merchandise becoming yellow or is from the get go yellow??? What can we do for white??

    • @Printify
      @Printify  2 місяці тому

      Hi! Thanks for bringing this up. It's hard to say without seeing the images and the design file. It might be that the white you're using has a bit too much of a yellow shade, but it could also depend on the garment color and fiber composition. It may also be an issue on the print provider side, but in order to look at this issue closer, please do reach out to our support team again. They'll be able to give you more details.

      You're absolutely right and thanks for pointing it out! There's much more to consider like RGB vs CMYK, the type of product, fabric composition, etc. Our goal was to specifically dive deeper into file types and the differences. :)

    First before my comment, let me just say, I'm not an innocent goody two shoes person, but this trend of adding foul language by every company just to jump on this trending bandwagon really should stop. Even though you bleeped out the F word everyone knew what you said. It cheapens Printify in my humble opinion. Yes, I've been known to use foul language myself, but putting it out there all the time these days with you big companies trying to look relevant or with the times, makes you look bad. Maybe not to everyone, but to many of us. Just my two or three cents opinion. As far as the video content, I only watched to see if you were going to recommend using SVG as that is always my choice when using Printify. Unfortunately on Amazon Merch we are only allowed to use PNG format, but whenever it is allowed I use SVG.

    It was reasonably good information, but the usage of obscene swearing is disappointing and upsetting. It is beneath your dignity and the dignity of your viewers. Frankly, the video should be redone without the usage of swearing. I hope Printify will take this seriously; if swearing continues it will give me pause if I want to sign up and use Printify.
